As a customer, you are nothing more than a means to an end, which is to do the least they possibly have to do to get a paycheck. Regarding sales, the sales floor seems utterly vacant, with anyone wanting to sell a car. I don't see any salespeople or any sales going on when I go in there, EVER.

It is the worst that I have used in 20 years. This determination is after a dozen service opportunities to do it right. Every oil change leaves large, wet, oil stains on my running board and oil soaked footprints in the carpet. This happened three out of five oil changes. At a recent rotate and balance,my F250 lost three of the balance weights in the first sixty miles driving at 60 mph. They have no software or any system for tracking progress of any service work. If you stop in or call to check on the status of your vehicle, they have to try to track down the mechanic. They have never returned a call for an estimate to complete the work. They keep an extremely limited parts inventory so most likely your parts will have to come from Boise, which can take two or three days. My recommendation is drive to Twin Falls, Mountain Home or Boise and save yourself money and trouble.

Another amazing service with my vehicle today. I recently had my shocks replaced, and the a few of…read morethe studs the lugs screw onto broke during the service. I decided to replace them when I got a set of 4 new tires for the car. I have never bought tires from a dealer before. You would think the prices would be crazy compared to local tire shops, or even walmart. Was not the case at all. Due to the special this dealership was running, I only had to pay for 3. Around $950. The local tire shops were all quoting over $1,200 for a set of these 4 tires (Continental 235/50R17). So I decided to get them from Con Paulos. Was a great decision. The techs replaced all of the studs and lug nuts as requested (for my personal safety standards), as well as all 4 tire sensors. I was given a heads up it was wise to replace all 4 even though I only planned to replace the one having issues. It was much cheaper to do now while the wheels were already off the car. This saved me some money in the future. Extremely satisfied with the service at this dealership. It is so rare that even if you have to drive further, go to Con Paulos. I won't take my vehicle anywhere else. They even hand washed my car, and it was filthy from just returning from a camping trip the day before. I have had terrible service at so many other dealerships trying to "take me for a ride" financially. Con Paulos does not do this, and deserves special recognition for the honest business practices and extra mile service. Does service get any better than this anywhere? I don't think so!

Traveling through Idaho on I-84 our Ford F-350 diesel truck experienced severe problems and we had…read moreit towed to the Ford dealership in Mountain Home. We had phoned the dealership prior to the tow truck arriving and found them very friendly and willing to resolve our problem. The very next work day I went to the service advisors and found them to be very professional and friendly. Traveling outside of our home area and having to seek automotive help is scary as you don't know if the repair facility is honest and will not take advantage of your situation. This was not the case with Mountain Home Auto Ranch, I very quickly realized that these folks were HONEST and TRUSTWORTHY. There was no monkey-business whatsoever. They told me they would start working on my truck right away and they did just that. By mid-afternoon I had my truck back in 100% working order at a very fair and reasonable cost. If I lived in this area would gladly take any of my vehicles to this place for service.

During the test drive, an ignition system component failed and the truck had to be repaired before we could take delivery. We decided to give the dealership a second chance and completed the purchase. About a week later, the check engine light came on for a catalytic converter issue. We had the truck inspected by another Ford dealership, which found sheared exhaust manifold studs and a skid plate that had been secured with zip ties. These were obvious issues that should have been caught during an inspection. Overall, we are very disappointed with the condition of the vehicle and the dealership's inspection process.
