Had a procedure done that required for me to wear a girdle. I yelp'd this place and decided to give it a shot. I called prior to driving all the way to Pico Rivera. The owner told me she would meet me at the store. When I arrived her and her sister greeted me and quickly went into full mode to assist me with my requests. After a few fittings, I found the perfect piece. The price was even reasonable. I've been wearing my piece daily for a month and it is still in good shape and it has gotten easier to get in and out of. I can't say enough good things about this place. I wish I'd been told about it before I visited so many other subpar places. For context, I came to Karla's Silhouette Boutique after visiting two other places and spending over $300. The first place gave me an immediate refund. The most recent place (a popular one in Montclair) took me for about $130 for a faja that was way too small and them insisting that this was how the faja was supposed to fit. Sigh. I know fajas are tight, but whoa. And I was right. Something was off and that was most definitely not my size! I realized that after the wonderful experience with Myra. Anyway, I called Karla's Silhouette Monday morning and asked about coming in. I asked how long it would take since I had to use my lunch break. I spoke with Myra and she said at most 30 minutes. I was in and out in 20 minutes. Myra knew right off the bat what my waist size would be. And when she realized by butt wasn't going to fit, she went up one size. She was so attentive and realistic. The faja itself is well-made. Thick material that my claws can't break into (sharp acrylic nails). Tight where it should be and comfortable around the shoulders and butt area. I can see how it can be used longer term and not just post op. It also has the four hooks for tightening as my swelling goes down. Finally, Myra is very good with COVID-19 precautions. She required and wore a mask and she put on a face shield once she was ready to help me with the actual hooks. From someone who is always so careful, this was very much appreciated! Came here today not knowing what kind of girdle I was needing , I was kind of thrown off because the employee there only knew Spanish. I only know a little Spanish so it was hard to articulate what I wanted or what I should do. I didn't like it when she said I'll only show you the girdles to try on if you buy it today ...seemed a bit rude ...but I went with it and tried one on. She helped me get into it and told me not to be shy... I liked the girdle I saw the difference right away so I ended up buying it anyway . But still those sells skills were intensely rude. This review is following the tip I submitted about store stating it's closed Sunday's and Monday's. I called Tuesday several times before someone finally answered. The lady that answered was not very professional, went as far as telling they are open on Sunday's several times (as if I didn't hear her the first time she told me) and finally she admitted occasionally she closes so that she can run errands at the near by markets. Surprisingly she told me to go to their store at Montebello because she closes store when there's not much business and won't trust our word of we say we will be there at a specific time. I want to share my story.. I have been wanting to buy myself a faja for some time.. And finally I had the time to go out and buy myself one.. I had stopped at this store in Huntington park where they sell fajas.. I walked in and this lady comes up to me and asks if she can help me.. I tell her what I was looking for and she looks at me up and down and says she didn't have anything for me..
