Would rate this place a negative 5 stars if I could. My mother purchased a mattress here two months…read moreago and it is dipping in the middle. She's 5'2 on a good day and less than 140 pounds. I called to return the mattress. They took advantage of a 70 year old woman - she paid $1400 for a full sized mattress. It's listed online for $650 at another retailer. They said they won't return it but that it must be a defect and would exchange it for the same mattress. I asked if they were going out of business to which Todd replied yes, and I said I didn't want the mattress as I can't be in this same scenario two months from now. I let him know I want a refund and for them to take the mattress back. Most mattress sellers have a guarantee period.He said he would talk to Barry the owner and return my call. That was three days ago, so I called today and he said "oh yeah, Barry said no." No phone call back, no acknowledgement that be never reached out. I asked if I could discuss with Barry and he said Barry would call. I called four hours later and spoke to Barry. Barry shared that Todd never mentioned my call and Todd was actually taking over the business and the decision maker. Todd paraded like he needed approval but he was the one to make the decision. The mattress is not only defunct but they are charging twice the cost as another retailer. Feels highly unethical and that they took advantage of the elderly.

This is a store with unique one of a kind pieces. Mostly in the cheap. My beef with them is about…read moreselling an insurance policy for a company called Montage. I bought the insurance. After being told said I would be covered if the motor went out on my power reclining loveseat. It did. And after 9 phone calls to the insurance company and jumping though all their hoops, I am only offered half the cost of what I paid 18 months ago for this leather, one of a kind recliner or I get store credit. The store is 8 hours round trip for me with a trailer as they don't deliver just to see if they might have something I want. No online ordering, no techs to come fix it and no full price reimbursement or replacement of the exact piece. Manager told me it is not his fault I live far away. Do not buy the insurance. It is not what you think it will be.

He even took this Rocker outside so I could see the real color in daylight. Very wonderful person to work with and also the gentlemen who was in the back room was very helpful too. If you're looking for honest, respectful and just genuinely kind customer service, this is not the place to go. Slumberland across the street is much better. Had the WORST experience here with an employee named Kayla. She followed us around the store and then attempted to hand me a financing card to which I said oh no thank you we don't need financing. She then whipped it out of my hand and stomped away from me as I was mid sentence trying to inquire about a couch that we immediately wanted to purchase. Her level of rudeness cannot be measured. Their prices are quite reasonable and they have bargains in the basement, too. I loved the people working there; they were very gracious about letting us wander about the place and not once made me feel like I couldn't afford to be there... Lars Ulrich, drummer for Metallica, even dropped in there when he was recently visiting Fargo. I've already picked out a shelving set for my kitchen and a lamp for the living room. Love it!
