Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Tikka Saag curries with rice and Garlic Naan
    Stephanie R.

My husband and I love Indian cuisine and decided to order the Garlic Naan, Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Tikka Saag curries from Karma Kitchen to go for dinner. The food was wrapped impeccably for car transportation and we were really looking forward to our meal, however, it was unfortunately very bland tasting overall. The curries were cooked well, but did not give me a lasting impression from a flavor standpoint. The Garlic Naan was okay.

my first time here and i can't wait to come back ! tried two dishes (a chicken one and a vegetarian/eggplant one) and both were delicious ! there was only one other party there with us but service was fast and friendly. we also got a chai and it was delicious. the naan is a little crispier than i'd like but still tasty. the price is comparable to namaste and gurus. they also give you a good amount of rice to share for the table.

Garlic naan completely covered with crushed garlic.

Ordered Mulligatawny soup and garlic naan for takeout. The soup was pretty tasteless, and the garlic naan had too much garlic but no salt.

    Vegetable korma/rice

Delicious! A phenomenal vegetarian menu plus all the other meat dishes. Had vegetable korma with rice and added garlic naan. It is among the best I have ever eaten! I am eager to return and try the Himalayan noodles!

    The super friendly staff.....

While visiting from the Central Coast of California, we were craving some good Indian food and came upon Karma Kitchen after a Yelp search. Well, the reviews weren't wrong, what a fantastic place. Very neat and clean with nice booths and tables. After perusing the extensive menu, we ordered our favorites, which included Chicken Vindaloo, Lamb Saag, Chicken Kawab, which is like Chicken Tikka, and a dish we haven't had before, Lamb Noodles, which was incredible. We added Garlic Naan and a side of their green mint sauce. The staff, which appeared to be all family, was friendly and attentive during our entire visit. We have enjoyed Indian food for many years in many locations, and this is one of the best by far. The only disappointment is that we live 900 miles away, but we'll be back !!

Good Indian food, but get spices on the side if you're not a fan. Very filling, so don't over order.

The food was good. It was a little lite on the spice. The Garlic Naan is awesome. The service could be more helpful.

They are hustling and keeping the buffet stocked better now that they have a feel for volume. Food is still tasty and generous.

A hot cheeto is spicier than medium. Calamari: husband says it was tender and hot (temp) Naan: crispy and fluffy. Got the garlic. And cheese. Cheesy was a bit crispy and added extra texture and umami flavor Lamb vindaloo: so flavorful especially since the potatoes absorb the sauce. If you have never had this, it's a bit vinegary and u can taste the garlic and the ginger Chicken korma: a type of curry that's creamy and flavorful. I tasted a lot of cardamom and ginger. Very warming spices. Mint chutney: my favorite chutney and it didn't disappoint. Fresh herbs to cut through the richness of the food Mango lassi: a MUST. u know I always skip this because normally the yogurt is too sour or the mangos taste too artificial. But OMG this is so good. Not sour at all. Creamy and not overly sweet. Tastes like blended mangos with yogurt. I am lactose intolerant and I will gladly get the runs for this Waiter was very kind. Saw mostly people come in for take out but it's a good place to sit in as well. Very homey feel to it. Will be back again when we are back in MOAB.

We ordered a mango chicken salad to start that was an absolute new experience, but in a great way. The mango on top of the salad was hot, like maybe it had been grilled, and the chicken was maybe done in the tandoori oven (?)...delicious! The garlic naan was scrumptious! Super crunchy in areas, but light and tasty. However the chicken tikka masala was not good. The masala had a very strong spice (maybe star anise) that overpowered the whole dish, and I didn't enjoy it at all, but my hubby liked it. We also ordered the lamb biryani, that we were told could not be ordered mild, so we went with medium spice and we could manage that level. Not too spicy for us, and we are wimps ! Service was very efficient and quick! Not my favorite Indian experience, but not really bad either.

Passed the Himalayan Pun a number of times on 550 just north of Main Street many times but for one reason or another, the restaurant never had curb appeal for me at all. Things changed two years ago when we began visiting more regularly looking for potential real estate. One afternoon I said to Glenda, let's give it a try. Well... every time we went to eat at the Pun, the meals were delicious and satisfying big time. This last time a few weeks ago, we ordered both a vegetarian and chicken MoMo, steamed, a Chicken Masala, Tofu Paneer Korma, Garlic Naan and Aloo Paratha. We ordered all this to have leftovers for later on. I especially requested extra sauce for the Masala to dip the Naans into with delight. Parking can be a bit tight if the restaurant is very busy and the vibe inside is very comfortable, down home, nothing fancy, and clean. The food is more Nepalese than Indian and I usually order the entrees with a bit more heat. Enjoying a nice cold beer with the meal and Glenda usually orders a Chai tea towards the end of the meal. Just thinking of the delicious food here makes me hungry and wanting to plan another trip to the West Slope. Highly recommended.
