We had a large order on a busy weekend night, and the ETA was 45 minutes. Understandable given how busy they were. I arrived at the store after 50 minutes to give a little time cushion, but it turned out they hadn't even started on our group's order. The total cost was over $250 for five meals. That's pretty pricey, but if the food was good, we wouldn't have minded. It was not. Many of the ingredients did not taste fresh and the overall flavor was pretty bland. Their customer service was actually phenomenal. The hostess was very apologetic, but it really wasn't her fault. It truly wasn't even the fault of the kitchen staff. They were drowning in there. I don't know if they need more staff, but it's likely they do. I know for sure that they need more training for efficiency and to revise their recipes and ingredient quality. If they were that behind on a busy night, it is easy to assume that they are also too busy to be checking their ingredients for freshness. But this can all be fixed. They obviously care a lot about what they're doing. They just need to get organized and work on the quality and efficiency to make their lives a LOT easier. read more

We stopped in for lunch as I was craving some good Asian food. The location is convenient, and there was plenty of parking at lunchtime. When you enter there isn't much space for more than a few people to wait as they are a wait to be seated place. It did take several minutes for anyone to emerge from the back to seat us. After we were sat, we were promptly greeted and given our drinks. We also ordered potstickers at the server's suggestion. We ordered off the lunch menu which had a great selection and also included an egg roll and either a salad or hot our sour soup. We decided to do the Garlic Chicken with Wild Mushrooms and Red Hot Beef both with jasmine rice. Fried rice is also an included choice or you can choose to up charge for lo mein or egg drop soup. As other reviews have said, you will need to pack your patience here on the wait for food. It took 15 minutes for the soup and salad to arrive, 30 minutes for our potstickers, and 45 minutes for the main. There were only two other tables when we arrived, and they had already ordered. Four more came in a little while later, but they received their entrees within five minutes of ours arriving. Definitely be patient as everything we had was worth the wait! The potstickers are made on demand and are so good! The hot and sour soup and salad were also very delicious! The star was really the Garlic Chicken with Wild Mushrooms. It was so full of flavor. The Red Hot Beef was also very good. We will certainly be back as we want to come for a dinner experience, but we might make it an early dinner instead of during the dinner rush. Well, we were greeted with notification that the A/C was not working This place had such good reviews that we were unaffected by this, and very happy about that! Our server has been there for 12 years and recommended the dumplings, which we started with. Note: everything is hand made, and the dumplings were tender with a delicate crisp- delightful. Hubby got the Chicken with Eggplant, which was very flavorful. My Velvet Shrimp had snow peas and asparagus in a garlic sauce. Make sure you pair it with white, rather than fried rice, to enjoy the sauce with the jasmine rice- delicious. Unfortunately, as we were paying their Internet also went down. This was a further inconvenience, so we can't say it was a "5" experience. Please go for the great food, and hope that Mercury is not in retrograde at the time. ;-) read more

On the basis of the very positive yelp reviews, tried eC's for lunch. Sorry to say was disappointed in the 3 protein kung pao I ordered. Not particularly spicy or flavorful. Otherwise food seemed nicely prepared. Hot& sour soup was very good. But it was the only soup choice without extra charge. Wonton or egg drop added cost. Service was good but not exceptional. Thank God for this place! I have Celiac Disease, and I never thought I'd be able to eat Chinese food again, but eC's Asian Station has changed all that! Asian foods are cooked with soy and teriyaki sauces, which are not gluten free, therefore I'm not able to eat them without becoming violently ill. At eC's, they are able to substitute quite a bit of those sauces, and still pack all that glorious Asian flavor. We dined for lunch, and Susan, one of the servers who has worked there for eons, was extremely knowledgeable about all the dishes, super friendly, kind, and attentive to my GF needs. Right away she greeted us, and was eager to explain what sauces could be substituted. I was able to enjoy everything in peace, and not once had any GI upset. And for the first time in 7 years, I even enjoyed a piping hot bowl of egg drop soup! Everything is cooked to order and so flavorful. The dishes are also pretty sizable/affordable. This was an absolute win, and a must for those with CD or sensitivities that crave that beautiful Asian flavor, but have been denied it for far too long. Took my son for his birthday. The service was fabulous. Our waitress was so nice. The owner is the cook too and takes much pride in his food. The food was good. Better than average. Portions were good. The prices are about average. It was very hot when we first got there. But I think they turned down the air when nobody's there it cooled off. This place is fantastic! The service is great. There is usually only the one gal in the front of house waiting on all the tables and she makes it look easy. She's quick to help take a good group picture and remembers the regulars' orders. The back of house is usually just two cooks and they bust it out. The food is always fresh and delicious. I recommend the home made pot stickers and cashew chicken. Yum! I always order from or go in when I'm in town. Better than most places I can get in Denver. Susan was the sweetest and was so knowledgeable about the menu. We came here because my friend is Celiac and almost the whole lunch menu was celiac friendly, and Susan explained everything to her. The crab wontons were delicious and every time a food came that my friend couldn't have with her allergy, Susan reminded her not to eat it because it had gluten. I've been here multiple times and for the most part, have been happy and satisfied. Probably some of the best Chinese food in town. Every time I've gone or gotten take out, the food was absolutely delicious. I've met the owner, who is also the cook, on multiple occasions and he's one of the nicest guys. The waitress remembers myself, my family, our regular drink/food orders. I see a lot of people complaining about wait times. This will depend a lot on when you choose to eat‍. Typical lunch and dinner times are going to be busy, especially for a cook who prepares virtually everything (food, sauces etc) from scratch, so just go in knowing that. The only complaint I've ever had is the cost to portion ratio with meat dishes. It is a little pricier than others for the amount you get. (The noodle dishes, however, are spot on though). As a result, I don't go here very regularly, but will still stop in here and there to support an amazing owner who produces a quality product and treat my family. Overall, I'd highly recommend trying EC's! P.S. Certain people(s) who whine about the lack of vegan (or any other dietary reatriction) options need to do their research, as with any place they would dine. Your extremely picky, expensive and restrictive lifestyle is not that of the majority of their typical clientele and therefore, it's pretty pretentious and turgid to assume they should cater to your every whim or risk your bad review(s). This is by far my favorite Asian restaurant in town. We visit at least once a week. Staff is so kind and the food is always fresh and tasty! Don't expect fast food here, as nothing is prepared in advance, everything is made fresh when you order it. Yes it may take a little longer than other restaurants but it is WELL worth the wait. I highly recommend the egg drop soup and the garlic noodles are addictive (I love them with chicken or shrimp). We ate dinner sharing an order of potstickers (5), fried and also shared the orange chicken(2). We have eaten here before and received better I felt nauseated after eating. There was not any spice to the orange chicken and thinking I am no longer a fan of fried foods or maybe the sauce included something that did not settle. The restaurant could use some scrubbing and dusting as cobwebs are noticeable between the partition; it's a very dark interior with their covers on the windows. I liked the hot & sour chicken soup, so I had it again tonight...excellent...I hated to reach the bottom of the bowl...! As a different entre tonight I ordered the chicken egg foo young...wow, quite good. Different preparation then experienced elsewhere. Not just a brown gravy over the pancakes...nope, this gravy was loaded with veggies. There is something unique about this restaurant anf the food being presented...I am not really sure what a "fusion" restaurant actually means...but this food seems to be prepared as its ordered and not pre-made and waiting. It is fresh, delivered to the table steaming hot, and is quite tasty. Food is the best Chinese food in Mesa County, ambiance is a cafe look, but service upon take out is horrible on the five times over seven-ten years I've ordered from here. Most recently, on 12/23/2023 I called in a simple 3-entree order at 4:57 PM asking for it in an hour which was agreed upon. At 6:00 PM I was told it would be done in 5-10 minutes. 45 minutes later I finally received my order with no apology.
