My favorite ice cream I tried was the Taro Mochi, it had little chunks/bits of chewy mochi in it, so good. They've got a countertop to sit at with connect 4, tic tac toe, and other games to play. The pastel rainbow, flowers, butterflies, soft pink and green details, and the "Welcome Baby Girl" lettering all came together perfectly. It was elegant, sweet, and whimsical without being overdone. It honestly became one of the centerpieces of the entire shower, and we received so many compliments on it. Beyond her talent, Christina was just an incredibly wonderful person to work with. I came to her on a relatively quick turnaround and with a budget I needed to stay within. She listened to me, worked with me, and was extremely accommodating throughout the entire process. There was never any pressure or difficulty--just kindness, cooperation, and a genuine desire to make sure we were happy. What impressed me most was how humble she was. When we first sliced the cake, the center was visibly dark, as shown in the photos. My wife paid $120 for this very small cake, and for most people, $120 is not an insignificant amount of money. My intention is not to bash the baker or the business. I am simply sharing my experience and the actual condition of the cake we received so that other customers can make an informed decision. What has been most disappointing is how the situation has been handled. In my interactions with the owner, I have not felt that responsibility was taken for my concerns, nor was I offered a resolution to make the situation right. Instead, the responses have felt defensive. As a customer, I believe concerns like this deserve to be acknowledged. Sometimes a sincere apology and a willingness to address the customer's experience can go a long way. Again, I am sharing the updated photos for transparency.
