My boyfriend and I made an appt since walking in they were too busy at the time. I wish I trusted my gut and went to a different place but we gave them the benefit of the doubt and returned at our scheduled time. My boyfriend was getting a simple mani pedi and I was getting a gel manicure. We sat at our stations with no service for over 20 minutes then they went over to my boyfriend and filled up his tub and came and clipped my nails then walked away for another 15 minutes no service. When the guy came back to me he legitimately buffed my nails then painted them. No nails in a bowl, no cuticle work, nothing. He was doing me and another girl at the same time running back and forth. The sides of my nails aren't even painted all the way. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

I've been coming here on and off for a couple of years, mainly because of the convenient location and pleasant atmosphere. While I've had some great manicures, I've also had some of the worst. The biggest issue is the inconsistency. Every technician seems to have a different process, and some even skip steps. For example, no one removes gel polish the same way, and during my last visit, the technician drilled my previously strong nails so much that they're now thin and bending, even with gel applied. I do appreciate how quick some of the technicians are, but the speed isn't worth sacrificing quality. Chipped and broken nails end up forcing me to return sooner than I should have to. Unfortunately, the inconsistency and lack of attention to detail have made it difficult to fully recommend this salon. read more

I am not one who complains, but I am appalled at how horrific this nail place is. When you walk in, it is very nice inside with lots to look at, but the looks can be deceiving. I went in for a simple gel French manicure and left with what would barely even qualify. The lady I saw clipped my cuticles so much that I was bleeding and filed my nails so short that they are all very sore. My "French tips" are the smallest little line and are uneven and not straight. I kindly asked for the lady to remove the excess gel that was on my fingers and then she took it upon herself to file them again. I had to pull my hand away due to how uncomfortable it was. When she finished she ran out the door so it seemed like she was just doing my nails to get it over with. I then asked one of the guys to fix my nails and he was able to help a little bit but they are still awful. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

manicures are too expensive for the quality to be hit and miss. I've had my best dip manicure from them and was so hopeful but recently 2 manicurists were so dismissive of my concerns about areas of the nails that were insufficiently dipped only to start cracking off within a week. they knew better what I wanted! Each does the service differently. why they can't learn the same techniques is beyond me. I neither want to spend the time nor the money and leave disrespected and frustrated with the service. read more

A fantastic experience. The place is absolutely beautiful with waterfalls, chandeliers, a beautiful waterfall image on the wall and very organized colors of nail polish on a huge wall. They are very over priced.... Different people are charges different pricing... I had dip with a sprinkle of glitter on two fingers (a tap of the brush). The tech called the owner and I was charged $20 extra dollars for the sprinkle. Ridiculous!! Tech was fine, management not at all. read more

This salon is gorgeous. The staff was very friendly and did great work. I have been a cosmetologist for over 20 years, first in Boston, now in NH. This is one of the nicest nail salons I've been too. I can't wait to go back. Update: Came back two weeks later. They got me in last min for a shellac mani and spa pedi this time. The experience was just what I needed. I do wish the massage had been more extensive, especially for the higher price point pedicure. I did have a different technician from last time but the work was just as good minus the massage. I was slightly taken aback by being charged for shellac removal, especially since I had my last manicure there two weeks prior. I've never been charged for that before. I will just be asking about it at my next appointment though. I worked in the ticket booth at Crotched Mtn Ski area so lots of people see my nails and have been complimenting non-stop. I've been sending lots of referrals!! The pink nails are 1 1/2 weeks old and I'm quite rough on them. read more

The woman next me was asked 3x if she wanted a wine refill, damn my wine was gone & no one asked me if I wanted a refill thought that was unfair. I used Karma several times when I moved to Merrimack. The last time I had a manicure, it was a brand new person. The problem was that the manicure was terrible. I reached out to have it redone and the owner insisted it looked fine (it did not). I had to go to a wedding out of town. He redid the nails and charged me. The problem is not that he charged me again but his attitude. I will never go back here again, nor will I recommend this place to anyone. I am not a person that complains. I'm sorry to give a bad rating but all I wanted was a cut, and as a man I don't know the lingo at nail solans but when she asked if I want them cut I was thinking well yeah that's why I'm here. She did one small cut and filed them a little and charged me 25 plus 5 for tip. Bring in sales I like to get my nails cut by professionals but I will have to go to another place to get them fixed. I texted to make appointments for my mom and me for a dip mani and classic pedi. I was very clear that there were two of us and I gave them our names. They texted and confirmed that there were 2 of us and we were all set. When we arrived for our appointment. they were surprised that there were two of us. I let them know that I had scheduled for both of us and I was happy to show them the confirmation text they had sent me. They took us both but were clearly not prepared. I had two different women who did my pedicure while my mom got her manicure done. She had her pedi as I was getting my manicure done by the same man who did hers. I thought the manicures were rushed and not done as well as the pedicures. The dip on our nails was thick and was not shaped well. Neither of us have had a dip mani before so we had no basis for comparison. After 3 weeks. I went to another salon to have my nails done and they could not soak off the dip material because it was too thick to come off. They used the drill to thin it out so it could be replaced. I was not impressed and will not be going back. They did their best to accommodate us when they got the appointment wrong but we felt that they rushed to get us done and out of the way. read more

I finally mustered enough courage to go by myself (I've got some wicked social anxiety). Straight away when you walk in, they greet you in such a welcoming manner. Addressing any questions you may have without judgement, and they make sure you have accurate information (to include price range). During my very first visit w/Tru, she was kind, funny, straightforward, made sure to educate on what was going on w/my nails (previously I'd had acrylic overlay) and what the specific damage was. Once she performed her magic on my nails, she made sure to share w/me the importance of using cuticle oil. After having the opportunity to hang out w/her, I felt like we had known one another all along. I cannot imagine going anywhere else. I also like they have services to match your budget without sacrificing quality. I love how important providing quality services to their clients is high priority and also making sure to help each guest feel like a star! VERY, VERY Happy with all aspects of this nail salon! Have been getting nails done for decades. I have gone through regular manicures, the acrylic phase, gel and finally dip. So I'm picky about my nail shape and how perfectly the color is applied. I also don't like waiting so a salon that only takes appointments is perfect. I have been going there since February and have always left beyond satisfied and thrilled with how my nails looks. In addition, they last 4 to 6 weeks which is incredible! They are always friendly and very professional. I've never had to wait and I've never received a hint of any attitude or rough handling (which is something I cant saying about every salon). The Lounge is decorated with a vibe of upscale Zen, very classy, very refreshing, adhering to all the new CDC guidelines, take your temperature, spacing, masks etc. I felt very safe. As for the actual nail service, Tru takes nail care to a new level with her custom nail designs, creative painting abilities, crystal embellishments and always attention to detail. I never knew Nails could be such an artistic statement! If you have a special occasion or just want to feel pretty, give them a try, you won't be disappointed.
