Debbie did an incredible job. After an extremely long week at work I decided to get my nails done. I brought in a photo and said it was just inspiration and to do whatever floral design she was comfortable doing. The entire step of the way she made sure I was happy with how my nails looked. Worst acrylic appointment ever!! First of all, I told the woman multiple times I just wanted regular acrylics, no gel, nothing fancy. Which it states on their website costs $45. Anyway, my appointment was supposed to be at 12:15 with Vivian. I'm not even sure if that's who I got, since no one introduced themselves or were wearing any sort of name tag. The man had me sit in a chair after checking in. He wasn't rude but not exactly friendly either. I took it upon myself to start picking out a color. After waiting a half hour past my appointment time, he finally had me sit in the nail chair. I waited another ten or so minutes for the technician to show up. I've had many sets of acrylics applied in my time, and I have never had anyone complain so much about the way I hold my hands! She kept roughly shoving my hands back and yelling at me to "straighten fingers!" or "relax you hand!" It made me so uncomfortable I felt like I couldn't do anything the way she wanted. The way she filed my nails was so aggressive it was starting to get painful and I almost had to make her stop. Finally, she ended up cutting me three times with the cuticle scissors. Once so bad I yelled and pulled away. Honestly I think they are just super busy and trying to rush through too many customers, sacrificing quality for quantity. Well, I notice that my nails look terrible.. both my thumb nails are crooked, my middle fingers look distorted and thick, and there's spots of polish missing or where it ended up on my skin. The tips of the nails are only half painted. Finally, she says we're done and walks away, towards the back. I go to the register at the front.. and I have to ask who I pay...! They told me I pay my nail tech but she was nowhere in sight. Finally she walks up and charges me $55 for gel which I specifically told her many times I did not want. I tried to argue saying I never asked for gel.. but... ‍ Oh well, lesson learned. When something is cheap, you really do get what you pay for!! read more

I found out about this place by receiving a flyer in the parking lot at Shaws. I was immediately intrigued when I saw that they offered online booking, and made an appointment for opening day. The salon itself is crisp and clean, with protective bags in the pedicure tub, and even using a disposable swiffer duster to clean the station after a client. They were very accommodating, accepting multiple payment types, including credit cards, cash, and even Venmo. They even offer a reward system where you can earn $5 off after 5 visits, in addition to their very reasonable pricing. They had so many options for dip and gel colors - so the nail design ideas are endless! On my way out, I grabbed some business cards and flyers to give out to my friends. I've been going to Bliss Nails since they opened in Merrimack. The salon is clean & I like the convenience of online booking which allows you to choose your preferred day, time & nail tech. I also like the venmo option to pay for the tip in cash. Every visit, I've had to wait 15-30 minutes PAST my scheduled appointment time & my appointment is NEVER with the person I requested. So a lot has changed since my last review, I have noticed that the past few times I have gone, my nail tech is working on another person or perhaps two other people. This is not professional or fair. A pedicure should not take any longer than 45 min especially a classic. The last visit, I showed up and waited at the door for 15 minutes, then I get seated and sit and soak for another 15 min. There is major overbooking going on and I'm done, I don't have the time to wait and it should not take close to two hours for a pedicure. The place wasn't like this when they first opened, in addition this last pedicure lady was so rough with the tool and then she only rinsed the tool in my water when she was done! Another lady spoke to me after and saw the entire scenario... Lastly, when you book on line and pick a name, you never ever get that person. Sorry, the place is nice, my pedi looks great but I need the full attention and need my appointment time kept so I can get in and out, I don't have 2 hours for a pedi...I won't be returning. read more

Went there for the first time after booking an appointment online, which definitely was appealing. I got a hard gel manicure with tips and the experience was absolutely horrible. I was cut on 5 different fingers by the nail tech with the electric file and my fingers were still bleeding when I left. The hard gel burned when it was being cured which I wasn't warned about as this was my first time getting the hard gel and apparently it is isn't supposed to burn if done correctly. I will definitely not be recommending this place or going back. read more

I've been here only a couple times but likely will find a new salon to go to. Both times I made an appointment and had to wait at least 10-15 minutes. Another customer was started before me and had an appointment later than mine - irritating. Service was mediocre, felt like my manicure was rushed - it's been only 4 days and my gel polish has already started chipping. So happy with my dip mani by Eric at Bliss Nails. He was previously my go to tech when he worked in Concord. I was so disappointed when he was no longer there when I returned from snow-birding. I bounced around from one place to another, never leaving happy. I was thrilled to find Eric at Bliss Nails. Now that I've found him, I will be back. It's a 36 mile drive, but worth it. I decided to try this nail salon after looking up a few in the area, and this one seemed best for gel and designs and that was a mistake. I booked an appointment online for UV gel fill-in and arrived early for my appointment. They kept me waiting over 20 minutes past my appointment time and then, instead of doing gel, they tried to have me get acrylic which I refused. I've been getting gel nails for years at various salons and have never had this experience before. They tried to tell me that their gel was different than mine and they weren't going to do a normal fill in. They were only going to do the growth between the cuticle and the nail and if I wanted my nails filed any shorter, that would be an additional charge, they had already at this point removed nail polish off of three of my nails so I had to leave. there looking ridiculous. As even if I were to go ahead with their fill in I was not going to get what any other salon would have done. I rarely ever write a review, but they do not deserve any more business. read more
