I am officially looking for a new dermatologist. My son has an appointment with his pediatrician now to look at the issue. An acceptable response could have easily gone something like this, "I'm sorry, but we can't get him in until July due to him 'technically' being a new patient, but let me talk to the Dr. Wood to see if she will make an exception due to you being established and his father and I will call you within twenty-four hours." At least at that point, a parent feels like you care about their child. I just feel like a medical record now. Thanks, but no thanks. My son gave them a picture of what he wanted. They cut it and then told him they couldn't style his hair because they can't dip their hands in the gel / glaze right now as it's not sanitary. Really? Since when is it not sanitary to use a pump bottle, a small spatula, or simply wash your dang hands and dip them one time only? Must be nice to charge full price and only do half the job. The washing area is quiet and has muted lighting, a nice touch. The spa area where people wait for mani/pedi and massage are very tranquil and comfy. I enjoyed the mani I got there. Service is the name of the game here, I must say. I especially like that I get reminder emails and/or text messages.
