Karmichael's is the place to go for a spectacular upgrade to your house. We first met Joseph who worked with us to carefully design our dream kitchen. He is full of great suggestions and small details that we never considered. Joseph prepped us for all the steps along the way of demo to finish. The finished product is AMAZING! The cabinets are fantastic quality products that soft close. We now have so much more space! Our kitchen is now functional and it fits the rest of our house perfectly. Mike and Karla are super nice and have great suggestions for functionality of a kitchen. Manny and Sammy were fantastic and super courteous when installing. They all make a fantastic team! read more

I called to schedule an estimate, I was happy to be able to be squeezed in the next day at 11am. The next day at 11am came and went with no estimator. I called again and the employee had trouble finding my appointment but finally did. She arrived promptly after being about an hour late. She asked what we were looking for, surveyed and measured and told us to expect a quote via email soon. It's been 3 weeks now. I guess they don't need the work. ‍ read more

The last week of April 2021 we signed a contract with Karmichael's Cabinetry and "Jeffrey" came to our house to measure our current cabinets. In a prompt manner we received drawings of our cabinets, which were wrong and incomplete. A young lady was sent out to measure our cabinets again and a few days later we received the revised drawings, which is what we thought our new cabinets would look like. When I reviewed the drawings a second time, I discovered the length of the island cabinet had been increased from 75 inches to 77 1/2 inches. At this time we had already been through a number of delays so I instructed Karmichael's to proceed forward with the revised drawings. When we finally received delivery on the upper "boxes" of cabinets, they were not the same size as the cabinets in the drawing provided us, which were 42 inches high and the delivered boxes were 34 inches high. When we went back to Karmichael's and complained about the difference we were told the boxes were built according to the drawings they had on file, which we had never seen and were never provided, but only shown a copy. They had previously told us our cabinets would be white since we had not provided a color for the cabinets, which was not true as we had told them three different times the color we desired. Yet when we told them the cabinets were not to be white, they referred to the drawings they had provided us and said the drawings reflected white. They also said the same drawings reflected the crown molding and trim that had reduced the cabinet boxes to 34 inches, yet the same drawings which reflected cabinet boxes of 42 inches was not the correct drawing. The construction of the cabinets is the best and the cabinets are beautiful, but 20 linear feet of shelf space was lost in the upper cabinets instead of increasing the space, as we were told. Also, the microwave is three inches higher than the previously, which makes it inconvenient for a person 5 feet 6 inches tall. Karmichaels California State Contractors License expired 30 June 2021, but with so many things by the State delayed, it very well could have been renewed. The installer, Keenan, is the best, being very picky about his work and an eye for detail. read more

We got a referral for Karmichaels from a friend. We were remodeling our kitchen and looked at so many different options and finally decided to just pay the much higher price and get custom cabinets since we wanted to make some changes in the entire kitchen. We inquired about a warranty because they were more of a investment and wanted them to last. They texted me that they have a lifetime warranty on the custom cabinets! We had them installed. Few issues but nothing that was serious or wasn't fixed. Then 4 years later we notice the paint wearing off near the hardware of the most used doors and drawers. We called them and they had sold the business but still under Karmichaels but are told that they don't have time to fix anything they are doing new jobs and understaffed and Jeffrey the new owner won't even return a call he has a secretary call to inform me that no time and paint not covered under warranty. Also very rude. So disappointed. They are starting to look old and we regret using them. They even have our cabinets on thier Instagram page. Wish they would remove it. We never gave permission to use it in the first place. Would never recommend this cabinetry business. read more

We just completed our second project with Karmichael's Cabinetry. We received such great service and quality work from Mike and Karla, the owners, the first time, we wouldn't dream of going elsewhere nor did we hesitate calling them for our second project! Our first project was built-in dressers and the second was an office makeover with desks, cabinets, shelves and reclaimed wood on the wall. Joseph joined the company after our first project. He was a delight to work with! For someone so young, he deserves the designer award he just received for those under 30! Manny and Sammy, the install team, were awesome too! They are extremely nice, well organized and very clean! We could not recommend Karmichael's Cabinetry more highly! You won't be disappointed and will absolutely love the work they do! read more
