Karrington Rowe was such a fun surprise find! The food was flavorful and fresh! I had the curry shrimp and it took me back to when firebirds had a coconut curry salmon! It was wonderful!! The only reason it's getting four stars is the service is slow and both dishes we had needed more of the sauce served with it! We started with the Shakshuka dish, which contained two eggs baked in a flavorful, robust Indian-inspired tomato sauce. The sauce had a warm, spiced depth without overpowering the dish. The addition of spinach and goat cheese crumble added a tangy note to each bite. The slice of sourdough bread was delicious, but I wish it had been a little more toasted so that it could withstand the heavier Shakshuka. For my entree, I ordered the Crème Brûlé(e) French Toast. It was delicious and very indulgent. The brioche was soft and custardy, soaked in crème anglaise and elevated by a torched sugar top that gave it a slight crunch. Fresh strawberries cut through the sweetness nicely. I swapped the side of bacon or sausage for scrambled eggs. They were a little dry but still tasty. The atmosphere was refined but laid back, and the service was overall great. I would definitely come back to explore more of the menu. read more

This is a very nice restaurant serving New American style dishes. I believe it opened in early 2025 and we made it for a Sunday Brunch. Everyone agreed that the food is Awesome. The staff were very friendly and the manager actually checked in on us to see how everything was. The Dinner menu has some dishes that isn't on the Saturday lunch menu and I believe they only serve Brunch on Sundays. There are still plenty of options to choose from on the Brunch menu along with a full bar with Brunch beverages. They also accommodate private dining and they offer Catering. This place is a welcome edition to Brentwood and I will definitely be going back. There are several things I want to try on the Saturday lunch menu that aren't on the Brunch menu, So I may do another review soon. I definitely recommend this restaurant for regular dining or as a Date Night spot or Special Occasion. read more

Only issue with the food was the Creme Brûlée french toast was rather burnt. It also was supposed to come with bacon and did not. The shrimp and grits were very good, as were the fries! We walked into Kerrington Rowe at 6:30 Wednesday evening. We waited for a bit for someone to come to the hostess stand. The hostess asked if we had reservations. When we told her no, she said that they were full. She thought for a moment then said she'd squeeze us in. I thought they must be getting a rush as a good portion of the tables were empty. They remained that way the rest of our 2 hour visit. Once seated, I became aware of a very strong kitchen odor. We ordered. Then we waited. My eyes and throat began burning. We figured our food would be there soon - that assumption was wrong. It took us over 15 minutes just to get our soup and bread. It probably took a little longer than usual, the extra time being used to burn the bread. We tried to eat it but it was nearly impossible to tear apart and definitely tasted over done. I asked our server if the bread was supposed to be so dark - I wasn't being smart, maybe I was just missing something. He said that no, it was a little dark and proceeded to get us fresh bread. (Why he even served it is beyond me). The replacement came just after our meals were served. The bread, even remade, was truly a disappointment. It was so salty that it was almost unpleasant to eat. We brought most of it home - I doubt we'll eat it. I just double checked the menu as I'm writing this - I'm not quite sure what we were served but the bread shown on the menu was definitely not what we received. In contradiction to the burned bread, the cheese on the French onion soup barely had a tint of brown. The soup was alright, but, unlike what the hostess told us, if what we were served was typical, I highly doubt it's one of their bestsellers. For my entree, I ordered the crispy salmon. It was served with coconut rice (which had no coconut flavor) and Szechuan green beans (which had quite a kick though our server assured me that they were mild). The salmon had a slight crust and was tasty but the meal as a whole wasn't anything I'd order again. Where all of the rest of our food was pretty strongly flavored, the garden patch pasta was bland with the exception of the overwhelming flavor of the burned pepitas. Service was definitely not attentive. While the restrooms were generally clean, there were paper towels strewn all over the floor of the women's room from a trashcan that obviously overflowed long prior. We are finally are back in the car. The burning sensation in my eyes and throat are subsiding. However, the taste of burned food has not quite dissipated. I love finding new restaurants. I love finding restaurants that I want to come back to over and over again. Sadly, Kerrington Rowe is not one of these restaurants. read more

Good food but slow service. My husband chomped down the steak and eggs and said it was the best he's ever had. Green fried tomato salad sandwich was enjoyed by my daughter. George also liked the steak Benedict. Very popular place with tables full for Father's Day. We prefer Park Cafe and want to try German Town Cafe next. Staff were friendly. Decided to go to brunch here with my best friend on the last day of Burger Week and so glad we made that decision. It's located in a shopping center, so we were able to explore and walk around afterwards. There was ample parking and the manager was so kind. This smash burger was AMAZING. The brioche bun and comeback sauce really made the burger shine. The fries were nice and crispy. We ordered the Tennessee Beignets with the strawberry butter for dessert and they were so tasty. They even warm up well at home. The space feels more elevated than a typical casual dining location, but the prices are affordable. Will definitely stop by the next time I'm in the area. read more

Update: I really appreciate the response of the owner and I planned to update my review before I saw it; we went back last week and on a Friday night, they had half priced bottles of wine so that's what we did! I couldn't believe they did that, especially on a weekend night. Thank you and we will definitely be back! Food was good. However, I ordered a glass of wine and they served me a 5 ounce portion with no option to do the normal 6 ounce or even 9 ounce. And they charge as if you're getting a regular sized pour. Not a fan of a restaurant that can't serve a normal glass of wine. I literally have two glasses a week at dinner and I expect to get what I'm paying for. So I fork out enough $ to pay for half a bottle of wine and they give me 5 ounces. Not a good look, KR. read more

My husband and I were visiting Nashville and staying out in Brentwood. Kerrington Rowe was recommended to us. We went on a Saturday night, and it was not crowded at all. Our food was delicious. The French onion soup was incredible with plenty of onion and cheese. My husband ordered the pork chop which he said was flavorful. I had the crispy salmon which was also very good. The rice that came with it was bland and had no flavor. The asparagus was good. We had a darling server named Katie! Her personality and attention to us was excellent. My reason for only 4 stars is due to the fact that my husband made a reservation about two weeks prior. We had a "reserved" table in the back of the restaurant by the bathrooms. Very disappointing as there were plenty of other nicer seats. I was also disappointed as two entire tables near us were taken up by several employees who were rolling silverware and napkins and talking about their hours and other people. Years ago, Brentwood was severely lacking when it came to fine dining. Their affluent inhabitants had to drive elsewhere, typically downtown Nashville, just to find an upscale eatery. But little by little, more and more of these high-end spots have been opening up in the area. Karrington Rowe is the newcomer, debuting in early 2025 from the same company that runs the legendary Germantown Café. The calamari is stellar with a unique cornmeal batter. And the French onion soup ranks among the three best I've ever had, including those I've tried in France! The mac and cheese is easily among the two or three best in town, perfectly cheesy and baked to a crisp on top. The enormous Karrington Rowe burger on a soft brioche bun with prime beef, white cheddar, onion bacon jam, spicy pickles, and sauce is a wonderful amalgamation of flavors and textures! And the crème brûlée napolean dessert is exceptional! I must return for the pork chop, the crab cakes, and the key lime pie. And the crispy salmon is highly recommended by the house and patrons alike. read more

A newish restaurant to open on Franklin Road in the heart of Brentwood, I'm thrilled with this new addition to the food scene. Obviously location is very convenient and a huge parking lot for easy access. Was able to make a reservation online for our Saturday night visit which is always a plus. The vibe inside is nice, cozy, modern upscale without being too fancy. Not overly loud. Absolutely everything on the menu looked amazing! We ordered the dates as an appetizer, I got the Caesar and my friend the butternut squash bisque, and I ordered the roasted cauliflower entree and she the shrimp curry. The dates were stuffed with chorizo and had the perfect sweet/spicy bite. Caesar was delicious, but I love Caesar salad so it's difficult to mess that up for me. I'm not a vegetarian but I love vegetarian dishes, and this one was perfect! Smooth hummus at the base with roasted carrots and asparagus topped with curry marinated cauliflower florets. Everything was cooked perfectly and super tender. I ordered mine with a sprinkle of feta on top, because feta makes everything better! Our server was super kind and very attentive. 10/10 experience and with so many other tasty looking dishes on the menu, safe to say I'll be back many times. read more

Stopped in for lunch today. Nice neighborhood spot. Ambiance was fine. Interior design is nice. Service was excellent from my waitress Natalia. I did see the manager visiting tables. He didn't stop at mine, so curious about the criteria for that; especially seeing as how it's a very new restaurant and they should be collecting feedback from everyone. My waitress was also the bartender and made me a really good lemon drop. Fried green tomatoes were interesting. I'm used to more of a cornmeal based batter. Burger was standard & fine. Could have been seasoned more. Fries were frozen, not fresh. That's an easy improvement/upgrade to make. I know it would take more prep, but still. Overall, based on my experience, I'd probably come back for a glass of prosecco or sparkling rosé & charcuterie. Brunch I'd give a whirl too once they offer it. Not sure I'd come back to try dinner. I typically eat gluten free and they do have GFO available but I decided to try standard fare here. Will review GFOs if I return. read more

I had a wonderful lunch experience at KR. The staff greeted us warmly, seated us promptly and attended to or every need. I enjoyed the KR burger immensely. It is absolutely delicious. Top 5 in Nashville easily. The sort of burger that dreams are made of. The bacon jam is balanced by the arugula. The bun is light and nicely toasted. I've been to Karrington Rowe twice now--once for happy hour and again when I hosted my partner's 40th birthday party there--and both times were phenomenal. The staff, especially Dani, went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Every single guest at the party commented on how exceptional our waitress and Khalil were--seriously, they were unforgettable. The food is fantastic--it feels like the best of Park Café and Germantown Café with a few standout dishes of their own. I was so bummed when Bricks closed in Brentwood, but this feels like a worthy new favorite. The space itself is beautiful too, with rich navy and gold accents that make it feel both cozy and elevated. At the party, the bacon-wrapped dates were the show stopper--highly recommend starting with those. Great food is one thing, but when the service is just as excellent, it creates a truly memorable experience. Karrington Rowe nailed it on both. read more

We came here as a group of nine plus a baby. We had a great waiter, Kevin, relatively new but did an outstanding job. Nice variety of beers on draft, and several in our party had Mimosas and Bloody Mary's. The Onion soup was great, will be ordering that again. All of our entrees were good, including the wrap sandwich, chicken salad sandwich, eggs Benedict and breakfast platter. Only thing that wasn't good was the chicken sausage; It was overcooked and as hard as a hockey puck. Next time we will opt for the bacon. Went to Sunday brunch yesterday with family for birthday celebration. 5 adults and 2 children with a res at 11:15. Seated right away. After waiting 20 minutes, with no one taking our drink orders, I asked someone if we could please get started. The manager came over and apologized and got the drink orders - water and cokes. Finally a server came over and we ordered. 20 mins later, found out that they had no more chicken tenders for the kids. After almost 1 hour, we got our food. The food was below avg. the crab cakes were burnt in parts. Unevenly prepared. The omelet was nothing special. The appetizer donuts were also over cooked and had a slight burnt flavor. The fries were barely warm. The grits were underwhelming with little flavor and barely warm. One of the glasses with water, had lipstick on the rim as the server set it on the table. Gross! The manager apologized and was very kind. She said they were under staffed but that's not the customer's problem. They knew it was a birthday, and after looking at the menu, she never came back to put an order in for cake! So we sat and sat and finally after we called attention to our table, the check was brought out. They gave us some coupons, but needless to say, they went in the trash. They never offered any kind of "comp" on our meal. Extremely disappointing ! Never again. read more

We dined at Karrington Rowe for the first time tonight and thoroughly enjoyed everything about our experience. The ambiance and decor are just right. Not over done, but classy and tasteful. Hubs had an Old Fashion, which he thought was very well made. I had the Pretty In Pink drink. It was very tasty. Our absolute favorite dish was the bacon wrapped dates - amazing! Next time I may just have those as my entree. They are that good! I had the Asian noodle salad and it was delicious. Hubs had the chicken and really liked it. Our server, Chris, was terrific - fast, friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. He highly recommended the dates and we were so pleased he did. My wife and I came here based on her reading a review on Google. However, it should not be that highly rated based on service. We sat ourselves since no one was ver came to hostess stand. We then sat down and a gentleman brought us water but didn't come back to take drink orders for another 15 minutes. We ordered wine and a beer and waited another 35 minutes for not one additional table visit and witnessed tow tables leave During our time due to no one ever coming to take any initial order from them. We were so looking forward to trying their food but never got a chance to order. We will never come back. I've never seen this poor of of service ever, but especially for Brentwood TN. read more

2/6/26UPDATE - I am going to leave my review as is below because I think it's important to know what happened and what the response was that I received. Sean, one of the owners, asked me to call him to address the inappropriate comment. Sean was very professional and very concerned that a guest had had a bad experience. He apologized and let me know that they were already going through training before this issue came up that they will be rolling down to servers and bartenders. It was a very welcome conversation and really helped to alleviate my concerns. Given this, I do recommend Karrington Rowe and would encourage you to bring up a staff issue as they seem to be very responsive to resolving issues. I have been to Karrington Rowe three times now, all at the bar. The first time I really liked it. I had a couple of cocktails and the meatballs. It seemed lovely and I always like a place I can go to by myself and feel safe. The second visit was okay. This time I was with a friend and I started to get a weird vibe. Same friend and I went this past Friday. We had cocktails and the salmon dip. I have no complaints about the food. My friend commented that our bartender seemed to get a little icier towards us as time went by. It was definitely getting busier, so I would give him a pass on that. I think what sealed it for me was when the other bartender that was working told the single woman sitting next to me that she had a "sexy librarian" look. She tried to brush it off but he "reassured" her that it's a "good thing." I really wish I had called him out on it. I mentioned before that I like finding places I can have a drink by myself and feel safe. That would never ever make me feel safe. I might even start to wonder if my drinks were safe. He said this as she was ordering a second drink and asked for her check. Just gross. Aside from that, I've had good service every time I've gone and I do like the food. The happy hour is a good deal. If what I've told you is your vibe, I guess I recommend it. I just can't recommend sleazy bartender comments. read more

We live locally and have been very excited about a new upscale spot opening up in Brentwood. However the experience was lackluster from the moment we walked in. The inexperience from the serving staff was so underwhelming that we ended up leaving before our water came, largely because we lost faith in how the rest of the evening would progress. After 10 minutes of sitting we still didn't have water, and the server was unknowledgeable of the menu causing us to lose faith in the rest of the evening, so we went next door to Peter's Sushi which is always a consistent experience. read more

The hostess didn't appear for several minutes and when we asked the hostess for a table for two she said they were full, even though about 75% of the restaurant was empty. I asked if the bar was available and she (pretty rudely) said she didn't know. Once we were seated, the drinks were great and the salmon Rangoons were decent.
