What a wonderful experience at Truce! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the clean, welcoming atmosphere and the fresh, flavorful food. The staff was genuinely friendly, attentive, and happy to help with recommendations, making the entire visit even more enjoyable. Our table loved every bite! The Hot Chicken Sandwich was perfect with just the right kick; the Brie Chicken Salad was fresh and delicious, and the Roasted Brussels Sprouts were absolutely outstanding. We couldn't leave without dessert, and the Chantilly Cake was the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal. A special thank-you to Mr. Manager Clyde for helping make our visit such a great experience. It's clear to see that great care goes into every detail. Truce is a win all the way around! We stumbled upon this jewel while running errands in this part of Nashville , so decided to give it a try. Everything was great, except one one thing.(I will get to that in a moment) I got the Double Meat sandwich which had a distinct flavor accompanied with some potatoes....yum. My wife had a delicious Avocado Toast. The food was fabulous!! The "order to eat" time was around 5 minutes, and the counter person was so wonderful. The decor is clean & modern. My issue that soured the experience slightly was their lack of non sugar sweetners available. He said they had sugar , but for those of us(millions) wanting sweetness without calories should be given the option. He said they were avoiding" unhealthy" artificial sweetners, yet they serve candied bacon & French fries. Besides, Stevia is a natural sweetener option, no toxic effects and is diabetes friendly. I hope they will make this small investment to improve the customer experience, or at least let the customer decide what is best for our health. I will probably go back soon, but i will take some sweetners in my pocket just in case. read more

Walked in and found out this is an order-at-the-counter kind of place, and they make it easy from there, order your food, grab a table, and they bring everything right to you. I started with one of their Signature Lattes, the Mocha, and WOW... it was sooo good! Definitely something I'll be ordering again. For breakfast, I went with the Farmhouse Plate, medium eggs, candy bacon, heavenly potatoes, and sourdough bread. Everything was delicious! The eggs were cooked perfectly, and the candy bacon had just the right amount of sweetness baked into it. The potatoes were also fantastic. The service was excellent. Our food came out fairly quickly, and once we finished, they came by and cleared the table. Friendly, efficient, clean and a great overall experience. Been wanting to try this spot ever since it opened. The restaurant is beautiful - new, modern, bright, and filled with fresh florals that make the space even more inviting and elevated. I tried the grain power bowl with grilled chicken. At $19, it's definitely on the expensive side for a lunch bowl, but the quality of the ingredients was noticeable. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared .The portion was solid, and I appreciate their focus on clean, high quality ingredients. The bowl was good, though not something I'd specifically order again since there are so many other menu items I would be curious to try. It was absolutely packed when I visited, which speaks to how popular it has become. Be weary of a line when stopping by and be excited for the plans for order-ahead and a drive-thru. Happy opening week to Truce! This restaurant offers a "fine food fast" experience with a clean, modern, and airy atmosphere. The restaurant prides themselves in serving 180+ items from scratch with nothing artificial, gmo free, and sustainable practices. Upon arrival, there was a long line outside to the sidewalk; however, the staff was outside with menus, umbrellas, and answered questions about the menu and restaurant. The inside was bright, airy, and very modern. The rattan, brass, and wooden accents made the interior feel cozy and warm. The fresh florals were stunning and very classy. The staff was friendly from the workers outside, at the register, bussing tables, and serving food. The entire wait from arriving in line to food being delivered to our table was one hour; however, the food was worth the wait. After the restaurant gets into full-swing they will also offer to-go options and operate a drive-thru; however, these were not available during their soft opening. By the time we got to the register, they were sold out of donuts for the Chicken and Donuts offering; however, I got the chicken tender platter with a side of fries instead. I also opted to get a house-made lemon-lime sparkling water, too. These are canned in-house with stunning branding and fresh fruit, of course. Once our food arrived, I was shocked by the large dinner portions! My plate was full of chicken tenders and thickly cut fries. The chicken had an amazing hand-breading with peppers and spices that gave great flavor. The fries tasted delicious, but were room temperature. The sparkling water was not my favorite, as the lemon-lime taste was too strong for my liking. It was very sour and tart. Overall, the entire meal was delicious, and I would recommend to anyone. Truce is such a great restaurant from their clean menu to the airy atmosphere and friendly staff. This will become such a staple for families, couples, and socializations. It was very busy at around 1:30 on a Monday afternoon. This was expected, being new and popular. The line moved quickly and our cashier was pleasant. Ordered a wrap, fries and water for around $25. We sat down and food arrived 10-15 mins later. My wrap was smaller than expected based on other food I saw being served. However, it was very delicious. The fries were just okay. Not too hot, and very bland. The aioli that came with the wrap was wonderful for the fries and the wrap. The space was clean and bright, with a trendy decor. It was very humid and not very cool inside, and the floors were slippery as a result. Overall I enjoyed the lunch and will come back to try some of the other items and desserts. read more

They definitely didn't have enough staff at the opening, at first one person working check out and there was a line out of the door at 7:30am when they opened but after ordering the food came very quick. This place has such intent to serve. Beautiful flowers throughout the restaurant are very inviting and they put thought into everything. They even have umbrellas handy when the line goes out of the door in rainy weather. I think they need to set the kiosks up for all orders instead of just bakery items, that would help manage the crowds a lot better. The atmosphere here is very pretty and inviting, but unfortunately, that's probably the best part of the experience. The food is consistently mediocre, especially considering how long the wait usually is. Every time we've been, there seems to be a significant wait, and the food just doesn't feel worth it. Another issue is the flies. There always seem to be flies inside the restaurant, which is pretty unpleasant when you're trying to enjoy a meal. I also understand and respect that this is a faith-based establishment, but the religious aspect feels a little too in-your-face for my personal preference. On our visit, even the bussers were reading Bible verses to guests at the tables. There's a difference between incorporating your faith into your business and making customers feel like they're participating in it, and for us, it was just a bit much. Overall, it's a beautiful space, but between the mediocre food, long waits, flies, and the very prominent religious messaging, it's not somewhere I'd personally be eager to return to. read more

The food selection and quality is of a high standard and the environment (inside and out) is very pleasant.. but please, they really need to work on the wait time to order food .. 30 people in line, out the door in 90F weather and they had only one person taking the orders ( and in addition getting drinks and filling glasses with ice for customer requesting water!) After 30 minutes I ventured inside and suggested they add another staff to take orders at the second idle register.. but the response was tepid suggesting sic " if we do that there won't be enough tables for everyone to sit at ( even though plenty were free inside and out) .. hmm... keep this up and there won't be a line. In the end the staff are not to blame - that's just bad front of house management by the shift supervisor or location manager. A 55 min wait then 25 to get the void almost makes it not worth the wait. read more

Food was timely but the brussels were almost too oily and the wrap's hummus was overpowering yet lacked flavor. The chicken was cooked perfectly. The girl on register was friendly and answered our questions about the menu & gave us recommendations. We both ordered a salad & added grilled chicken to them and a drink and our total was $51. We were offered glasses for water & took a seat at a small booth to wait for our food. It came out fairly quickly & looked amazing. We both enjoyed both of our drinks, a canned flavored water & the strawberry basil lemonade. My friend got the CA Cobb & said she thinks it may be the best salad she's ever had. My Caesar was also good but I think I would try something different next time. Several workers came & checked on us while we ate. At the end we asked for some boxes but the worker we asked never brought them back. We managed to find someone else & they were able to bring us the boxes. The restaurant is so clean & inviting with great decor/design- it feels very fresh. The outside is also beautiful with flowers & plants. The bathrooms were also nice, clean & pretty. I stopped in for breakfast on a Monday @ 8AM. No wait at all. If there is a line and you want to go, they have tablets you can use to order. The place is beautiful. New construction, well designed. The menu for breakfast and lunch is extensive. I had the Double Meat Sandwich, which was very large with tasty, meaty bacon, sausage patties, eggs and cheese on a nice bun. The fingerling potatoes, smashed flat with the skins on, were really good. Latte was nice too. Friendly staff, nice restrooms, nice seating with plenty of windows and light looking out to the patio and plentiful flowers. Really a pleasant place to go for breakfast or lunch. read more

I want to start with how thankful I am for places like Truce that bring scratch kitchen and healthy bites to Franklin! It's a lovely place they just are so popular that they have to work out the kinks and that's a great problem to have! The line goes slow and the parking is sparse (and maybe they could open up their drive thru lane for parking temporarily to help ). Once you do order the food is brought to you quickly and the staff is so nice. I think it would be good to maybe walk through the line w a portable taking orders just to keep things moving. We have been frequent diners at TRUCE since it opened and we have taken treats to several neighbors to promote this new local restaurant. However, today, we were told by a wait staff person that we could not grab a table before ordering (we always try to get a table on the patio) as a lot of people do not like being outside in this hot, humid weather. The problem is that older people cannot always stand in their very long lines (usually 20 to 40 minute wait just to order ) that generally loops around outside. My dad is 78 years old and just had a knee replacement. They only have 1 register open even in their busiest rush hours. We do not appreciate their new rule as it makes it very hard on SOME people who cannot stand that long. They really need to open up BOTH registers so their lines can move. Many people are on lunch hours from work as well. read more

Last week our department from work went here for breakfast. This was my first time visiting this place but it came highly suggested by a few others that have become regulars. We had about 11 people, ordering went fast and the cashier was super nice and helpful. The atmosphere was very comfortable, even had real flowers on the table, nice touch! It didn't take too long for all of our food to come out!! I ordered the West Coast Burrito and thought it was ok, instead of the Black Bean & Roasted Corn Salsa, I feel they should have a more runny salsa and maybe sour cream since the burrito is a little dry. I ordered the peach tea and it was outstanding with fresh peaches in it! In general there were good reviews from all parties on the food, but especially on the teas, coffees, lattes, etc. that everyone ordered. My spouse and I have been looking forward to trying this restaurant since opening. Since the doors opened, it was always too busy. Never any parking spots and visibly large lines circling the building. So, we waited a few weeks after the opening date before finally trying it. It was so worth the wait! The line to order was still out the front door, but we didn't wait too long. In fact, it gave us plenty of time to review the menu to select what we wanted to eat. This may be a problem going forward because I know what I want the next time. The restaurant is very clean and beautifully decorated, and the fresh floral arrangements were such a pleasant surprise! Fresh flowers in the bathroom even! Gorgeous! Staff were cleaning the tables and floors constantly throughout our meal. After we ordered our meal, it was delivered to our table in a very respectable timeframe. I had salmon but changed up the sides. The change up may have been a problem because the kitchen because they forgot to give me the aioli sauce and avocado that comes with the salmon. But the wait staff quickly retrieved what was missing from my order. The meals were a bit expensive, but the quality of the ingredients was worth it. We eat out every Sunday night and thought we'd try this last night. This is not the management's fault, but most of the clientele had small kids and babies, and they were very loud the whole time. We were so surprised for a Sunday night and wondered how many more kids would usually be there in the mornings and afternoons. We might not have noticed it so much but 3 of the babies were screaming at various times. One screamed so loud for about 10 minutes, I told my friend I was going outside with my food, when the mother FINALLY took them out. The lights were bright, the dinner entries were very limited, we didn't like waiting in line, and the only alcohol was the house wine. Also, if anyone else cares, they have a "no cash" policy. We chose 2 of the dinner entrees and they were very good, which is the only reason I rated this experience higher than a one. We will not go back. read more

Well the sign says no seed oils and all the food is cooked in rice bran oil that is a seed oil. The brisket was so overcooked it we could not eat it , they made another one but is was not much better , I think the employees need more training on the ingredients in the menu items they just don't know I came there because I thought they were a restaurant that really had a handle on the allergy and ingredients but they don't.
