Some mornings you need a quiet, cozy place to sip your coffee and enjoy a great breakfast and Daps…read morefits that bill to a tee. Nestled in a small older home it has a very laid-back atmosphere. You could drag yourself out of bed and with your dog saunter in here and fit right in. We started with mimosas that are hand squeezed right at the bar. It was interesting to see what a difference fresh squeezed really enhanced the flavor. The standard Hash has great Waffle House vibes which is a good thing. The potatoes are fresh, the cheese sauce blends in providing a nice binding agent and the onion to potato ratio is just about perfect! The breakfast burrito is one of their most popular items and I could see why. Served West Coast style it has potato, chorizo gravy, eggs, and cheese sauce with a hatch chili sauce on the side. It is just the right size, filling but not too much to eat. The ingredients are super fresh and that Hatch Chili sauce is mandated for maximum tastiness. The Fruity Pebble pancakes will transport you back to your childhood with a generous pancake topped with the sugary cereal. It is sweet and decadent. The Cinnamon Toast Crunch sticky bun is the stuff of sweet dreams! Brown butter maple glaze, Hawaiian roll, mint cream and of course lots of crunchy toast crunch cereal. It will make you smile with every bite. But if you want to reach Nirvana, take it home, heat it up in the microwave and add a nice dollop of vanilla ice cream! It will send into sugary bliss. Service was excellent and it was a place that just makes you feel at home. A must breakfast try if you haven't already!

Incredible experience at Home Town BBQ! I was excited to…read moretry a new BBQ spot with my fiance while visiting. We were greeted by the smell of smoked meat, which was incredible. We were seated on their covered patio, which had fans and was comfortable on a hot evening. Our server greeted us right away and gave us the run down of the menu and took our drink order. They had a lot of local beer offerings, which was awesome. We both tried local beers and started with the smoked wing appetizer with the dry rub. They were so tasty and the rub had the perfect mix of sweet and spice. Chef's kiss! For our entree, we split a two meat platter, which came with two sides. We got the smoked turkey, pulled pork, Mac and cheese and their hash and rice, a thick meat stew made from pork. Everything was incredible! We also loved trying the different sauces on the table. We ended the meal with their banana pudding, which was divine. Couldn't recommend Home Team BBQ more!

The baked beans were the standout for me--full of flavor and easily my favorite item on the menu. The collard greens, however, were a bit too spicy and vinegary for my taste, and the mac and cheese didn't quite hit the mark; it was overly heavy with roux and a bit too gooey. We ordered "The Board," which offered a great variety of meats and sides, including wings, turkey, brisket, pulled pork, pork rinds, and ribs, all accompanied by pickled red onions and Alabama sauce. Overall, it was a solid experience with plenty of flavorful options to try.
