Passed this place in our Uber on way to our hotel and it's sign alone made me want to try it. Made it a point to go the next morning and it did not disappoint. It has indoor tables and counter service along with a huge outdoor seating area. Lots of menu items available all day. We chose a table inside and Jay took great care of us. Ultimately I would be giving this place a 3.5/5 but we can't do half stars. When we first arrived there was no host or hostess ready to seat us, which was completely fine, it was more that the gentleman that did seat us looked to be annoyed that they had to get up off his chair and bring us to our table. Once we were seated it took about 10-15 minutes for someone to come get our drink orders. We were not upset by any means as we were able to look at the menu and decide what we wanted to order along with finalize our plans for the day. The Vietnamese Coffee was very good! I added Carmel syrup to it. The fresh squeeze OJ and Grapefruit juice were very nice and smooth. There was not a lot of pulp in them. The redneck Benny was good but it didn't have much flavor to it. I did add salt and pepper to it once I realized there wasn't much flavor to it. The skillet was good and something my husband would order again! Can someone say delicious. My husband and I were in town during memorial day weekend and on our last day before leaving we were in search of a good breakfast spot. Every restaurant in the area was packed including Big bad breakfast but we were able to order food online. Their website was user-friendly and they offer an array of breakfast and brunch items for all diets. There is a small lot adjacent to the restaurant that you can park for free if you luck up and find a space. Street parking is free or you can pay to park in the large lot across the street. Our order was ready in a timely fashion. My husband had the classic Big bad breakfast with a side of grits which he said was very good. I had the Yard Work Skillet and it was delicious made with all fresh veggies, eggs potatoes and cheese. This is definitely on my list of breakfast spots to come back to when we are visiting Charleston. read more
