    Mushroom hash
    Paradise T.

I'm previously on record that Daps is the best brunch in Chs. This was the case 3-4 years ago but due to their new menu this just isn't the case. Recently, I ordered nearly the whole menu for my fam and found myself disappointed in the changes made. The ingredients have degraded in quality, the flavor has shifted poorly, and the menu has become much more quotidian. Their Cinnamon Toast Crunch sticky bun used to be colorful, buttery, and crunchy from a layer of cereal. Now...well it's visually bland and without texture. The mushroom and spinach hash was legitimately bad. In all fairness THE DONUT IS AMAZING AND PUTS KRISPY KREME TO SHAME. BRAVO. Fruity pebble pancake slaps as usual. The cortado was also made well. The service came without smiles or patience.. I used to love this place, buy their merch, and recommend this spot to all my out of town friends. That is no longer the case for me but perhaps you'll find better luck.

Delicious coffee & food! Recommend any of the breakfast sandwiches and iced mocha. Cute cafe with indoor & outdoor seating.

Show stopping! Layered! Wow got one Togo as well! Kids dream!

Place just needs a little more confidence! Get the Sticky Bun. Nice folks. Owner very kind, uses lots of family recipes with nostalgia! Chat him up very nice guy!

Cute, tiny spot tucked away downtown. Small menu but good breakfast options. I had the breakfast burrito and fruit pebbles pancake, both delicious!

DAPS Breakfast is a quaint neighborhood breakfast restaurant. Locate in the West End neighborhood in Charleston SC. DAPs breakfast menu offers you an arrange of breakfast items from Chorizo Gravy to DAPS Brunch Burger and everything in between. DAPS also offers you a variety of vegan choices. Their price's are on point and portions sizes are worth every penny you spend. Although inside seating is limited, they offer outdoor seating. If you are unable to make it to the restaurant, they do offer delivery through Uber Eats. I really enjoy their pancakes, one will fill your belly. DAPS Breakfast Plate is amazing. Their potato hash is amazing. I recommend this wonderful little neighborhood restaurant.

Okay, so let me start off by saying, if you come on a rainy day expect to standing, atleast for a little. There are only about 5 tables inside, and then outside they have some picnic tables. Because it was raining, and people were standing, people who had the tables tried their best to eat and leave, and not just hang around - which I think displays the kindness of both the customers and staff! By the time I got my food I was able to sit down and eat, which worked out perfectly! I got the big meaty hash (add spinach and cheese sauce) w/ wheat toast and a black currant mandarin mimosa. The meaty hash is sooo good and so filling, make sure to get extra extra of the cheese sauce, it just really ties everything together, and the spinach because it makes me feel a tiny bit healthy lol. For the toast I asked for jam, and usually I wouldn't just leave a review about the jam but OMG it was really good! If you're like I don't need jam for my toast, get it anyway, trust me lol. For the mimosa I was going back and forth on whether I wanted to try a classic (orange or pineapple) or try something different, the cashier talked me into trying something different and I'm glad he did! If you like the flavor of sangria then you'll love this mimosa! The mimosa was $12 for one but I was feeling tipsy 1/4 of the way in so they give you your moneys worth lol. All in all I will definitely go by this place again next time I'm in Charleston, if you're staying downtown, it's worth the drive!!!

Daps Breakfast & Imbibe is literally one of the reasons I had to come back to Charleston, it's that good! The Big Meaty Hash with cheese sauce is absolutely incredible. Trust me, once you try it, you'll want to order an extra cheese sauce on the side. The Fruity Pebble Pancake is a nostalgic treat, bringing back memories of Saturday morning cartoons with its sweet, fun flavor. And to top it all off, the Prickly Pear Lime Mimosa was the perfect balance of tart and refreshing, making it the ideal way to wash everything down. It's a really cozy place with only a few seats to sit down, but it's jammed packed with how good the food is. This spot is a must-visit for brunch lovers. Can't wait to come back again!

A solid breakfast spot. Not too much indoor seating but some fun menu options. I didn't order the breakfast banh mi but I'd come back to try it for sure! Pancakes were perfectly fluffy and bacon was crispy. That's all you could really ask for!

We ordered the Chicken Milanese sandwich, which came on focaccia with bacon and an incredible sweet chili sauce that brought everything together perfectly. It was easily one of the best sandwiches we've had. We also tried the Bollito sandwich, a rich beef sandwich that came with a dipping broth on the side--absolutely unreal and packed with flavor. Overall, the experience was fantastic and the food was outstanding. If you're in Charleston, this place is a must-visit!

We ordered a vanilla cinnamon iced latte, a cappuccino, a smoothie, a breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel, and a strawberry pop-tart, and every single item was outstanding- gluten free options too!!! The iced latte had just the right balance of vanilla and cinnamon without being overly sweet, the cappuccino was expertly crafted, and the smoothie was incredibly refreshing. We ordered at the counter, grabbed drinks from the fridge and found a table on the side, covered patio. Food was brought out super quickly and it was absolutely delicious. I got the St. Philip pita, which was incredible and almost tasted like a halal cart chicken sandwich in the best way. It was so filling and so good. It came with a really tasty side salad. Bartender finally comes by and plops a bottle of water in front of us. Doesn't say hi / bye / or eff you (although she definitely gave off the latter vibe with her body language). After sitting there another 10 min and not being acknowledged whatsoever, I got fed up. Stood up, told my girlfriend I had had enough...and I flat out refused to give my money to an establishment that treats their customers in this manner. Honestly, I grew up in the Lowcountry and I can tell you that *most* restaurants/bars/shops/etc. in Charleston feature employees who are generally gracious/friendly/hospitable/helpful. Then, on occasion, you run into places like this. How they stay in business has to be a function of location alone, because their service is absolutely horrible! Will advise anyone who will listen to avoid this place at all costs!
