Every person we worked with along the way was incredibly kind- specifically Josh, Quentin, and Tristan. We genuinely felt like Castle Rock cared about us and our experience, not just the sale. Their attention to detail and pride in their work really stood out to us. You can tell they are passionate about building to quality homes and creating a great experience for their homeowners. We appreciated how thorough they were especially with educating us about all the details of the home. We appreciated that we didn't have to micromanage the process. Everything that Josh said was going to happen, happened exactly when he said it would. Dates kept changing and things were broken that they wouldn't take responsibility for and fix in a timely manner so the home could be moved into. Finish date was supposed to be the end of July and it's now the end of August and they're saying it'll get done when it gets done. it's sitting on the property with minimal things to finish, but they will not get it done so it can be moved into. I would strongly suggest going through another company. I'll change this review if they do what they need to within 7 days but I don't have much faith in them.

They left part of the work unfinished. The work they did was sub standard. A closet door fell off, and the pocket door unfinished. I had to hire a different person to finish. I made the mistake of paying them most of the balance due for the work, but it appeared he used the money for personal reasons, i.e., he was out of town for 3 weeks. He also removed some lumber from my house which I asked him to return and he did not. Therefore, I cannot recommend this company.

Close to the end of the job he asked for money to pay subcontractors. After that, with the job not finished, he just disappeared. No reponse, No completion. So, I've learned - do not pay in full until the job is completed.

He, again, exceeded our expectations and finished extra trim and painting that needed to be done in some other rooms but we hadn't thought to ask about. Ryan kept us up to date with photos throughout the renovation process. This was nice to be able to see the progress as each part of the renovation was being worked on. The quality is incredible! I would recommend TSB to anyone looking to have work done. My experience is with residential renovations but I know Ryan does so much more. He is so easy to work with and he obviously cares about his reputation and the customer relationship.​
