So I tried to wait to review this place after a second visit with hopes the first was a fluke. Unfortunately that's wasn't the case. I'll start with the atmosphere, pretty standard pizza place dinning room. Nothing remarkable or that stood out. Just a basic dinning space. As for the food. Ugh. I'll start by saying I've never seen a place struggling so much with making a round pizza. The high school kids at the corporate spots send out a round pizza but this place has failed to do so everytime. Every pizza is a mix between a germ emoji or an egg. But not round. Its has to be a talent to NOT be able to make a round pie. On the first round I got a cheese and the meat lovers which for the price the meat lovers was lacking toppings. Few crumbles of meat here and there like I requested light toppings. Far from what I'd expect from a meat lovers at the cost charged. Cheese pizza was pretty standard cheese nothing great or horrible. Not round. I also got the pepperoni which again is far less toppings then what they share on social media but for arguement sake there was atleast 1 pepperoni on each slice. And all of them had under seasoned sauce. Having to salt a pepperoni pizza at home is wild and should never be the case. The garlic bread... man can we even call it that?! It's litterally a loaf of French bread cut and a piece of sliced cheese split in half, placed on top and toasted. It's what I imagine a child making for themselves as an after school snack. No garlic, no herb butter, just some brushed oil at best and a slice of cheese. Then comes the wings. Which wouldn't even call wings more like Wingdings. I mean these things were so small they should feel embarrassed selling them. I'd take them off the menu before sending out flats smaller than my finger. The drumettes reminded me of those videos where the guy makes a picnic for a squirrel with tiny foods. Seriously these things are TINY!! Finally the service. On the first visit there was literally one other table name they still managed to be unfocused and let food sit in the window before sending it out. Nothing came out hot as if it was fresh. It was all warm at best as if it had been sitting for much longer than it should have been. We had to search for the server to request water refills which with literally one other table shouldn't have been the case. On the second visit I ordered takeout, and after watching them brag on social media about the new and improved margarita pizza at ALL locations I wanted to try it instead of the plan cheese. Well apparently the peachtree city location was not updated on that. Because when i went to order the margarita the hostess stated that was no longer on the menu. So I was like ok Weird but whatever. Just to leave and guess what?! The first social media reel was Karvelas posting about, again, how the margarita pizza was now available at ALL locations. The communication from management to employees and owners are lacking as well as the quality of food and kitchen staff experience. Maybe the other locations are better but I can absolutely say the ptc location has an extreme amount of work to do before being a place to frequent or even consider to satisfy a pizza/wing craving. read more

We had tried a Karvela's once before - in Newnan shortly after they opened there. It was packed and we never felt motivated to drive back over there for a 2nd visit. This location (in PTC) is where Christo's used to be. We were sort of bummed when Christo's shut down, so I was glad to see something else (potentially similar) opening here. Parking is in the large shared lot for the entire plaza. We visited on a weeknight and were able to get a seat without a wait. Our server was attentive and friendly. We decided to split a pizza and opted for a 'build your own', though they had a list of standard styles also. While I don't have extremely high standards for things like plates or utensils, I was surprised that all they had here was paper plates and plastic utensils. The wine glass was a flexible clear-plastic inverted fustrum (I had to look that up - the bottom half of a cone, basically). At least the tables were not the wooden picnic variety. None of this particularly bothered me, but it didn't seem like they were 'passing the savings along to you' - more like they cut costs to the bone to boost margins. The pizza was okay, but did not become an instant favorite. There are one or two local places where we occasionally get pizzas, and both would still edge out this pizza. Maybe we'll stop in again to compare but TBD. read more

GOOD , BAD, and UGLY... GOOD: This could very easily be a five star pizza joint, but there were a few things that really turned me off. First, let me say that the pizza is excellent. Probably one of the best around. The crust was done perfectly. I was so thrilled until... BAD: ... the wings came out. They were supposed to be lemon-pepper but they were almost flavorless. I had to really use my imagination to talk myself into believing they actually had seasoning at all. This just added to my disappointment with the wings because when we ordered them we wanted to do half lemon-pepper and half hot and the waitress said they don't split orders. But why? So, after reading a lot of negative reviews on Facebook, apparently they don't even make pizzas half and half, and don't even REMOVE an ingredient when someone is willing to pay the full price (For example, I'll pay for a pizza with pepperoni and sausage, but just leave the sausage off half of it). That pretty much says two things: 1) everything is premade and not fresh, and 2) they don't give a dang about the customer. Aren't we the ones paying for the food and service? Good luck to this place with that kind of attitude because restaurants have a hard time surviving in this area. We're overloaded with pizza places now, so you better bring your A game or you'll be out of business like the previous two pizza joints that were in the same exact location. UGLY: As we waited for our food, we saw a cook come out of the kitchen into the hostess area, cough into the air, wipe his nose with his hand, and then wipe it on his apron. I couldn't tell if he went outside or hung around the front door, but a few minutes later he went straight back to the kitchen. WTF!? My family and I wanted to leave right then and there (and in hindsight we should have) but figured the heat of the pizza oven would kill anything. LOL. Never again. read more

I've picked up takeout from here twice. Once during a Friday night rush and tonight on a Tuesday. Both times pizza came out HOT at the designated pickup time without additional waiting. I thought it was a little light on the toppings the first time around but I think it was just a matter of dinner/weekend rush. Tonight it was full of fresh toppings! Overall, the pizza is tasty! It's a nice twist on a NY style pie with unique ingredients. I wish the Chicago sausage was pinched rather than sliced, but you can't have it all. In conclusion, the place bills itself as a no frills pizza joint dishing out tasty pies - and I agree! It's a welcome addition to PTC and I'd much rather throw $20 at a pie from a family owned joint than a chain. read more

Maybe it's too soon to write a review, as they haven't been open very long, but we were not impressed. We have eaten at other Karevela locations and enjoyed our experiences there. Tonight, we followed the server's recommendation and tried the Memphis. We did not enjoy it. At all. Our greek salad, also unimpressive, was served in a to go box. And our wine was served in plastic cups. The servers were frequently gathered together and chatting with one another instead of attending to their customers. I doubt that we will return. read more

This has become our go to pizza for family night. We keep it simple with a cheese or pepperoni pie because we can never turn down the chicken bites with fries and lemon pepper and teriyaki wings. Always a great visit with friendly service. We can't wait for the Senoia location to open. read more

We had lunch today. The boneless teriyaki wing bites were awesome, as were the fries. The Karvela Bros pizza was a winner as well. Ally was our server and did a great job. The only negative from our visit was the quality of the plastic silverware. I expected plastic and paper plates, I didn't expect it to be so cheap that it was unusable! Not much flavor on sauce and there wasn't much sauce on pizza. The sausage was good. The hostess was pleasant.

We've eaten at Karvela's several times now, and we love their pizza. We always receive great service even when they are really busy.

My wife and I decided to try this place as had heard good things about the other locations. The total experience was mediocre at best. The things saving it and the only reason we would go back would be for the wings and fries. The wings were cooked nicely and fries were crispy which my wife loves. We ordered a pizza as well and it wasn't good at all. The middle of the pizza was soggy and the toppings would completely fall off when you tried to eat it. I also don't understand how you can't get multiple flavors of wings when you order 10 wings. Also had some pet peeves that the staff was doing but that's probably just me picking at little things. read more

We ate there Sunday evening. We had a specialty pizza and some hot parm chicken bites with fries. Food came quickly and it was delicious. Hot parm chicken bites is equivalent to mild wings coated In Parmesan cheese. pleasantly surprised! Service was great. Can't wait to go back and sit outside when it's warmer. read more

we ate at Karvelas in PTC this evening and ordered a large pizza and it was burned on the bottom. also had boneless wings that we hard and not hot. boneless wings were like popcorn chicken nuggets. was not impressed. will not go back. plus it was cold in the restaurant.
