The rotisserie plate. With Cole slaw and collard greens.

My wife and I went to Waldo's Chicken and Beet for the first time. We were very impressed. The cashier a young man was very nice and polite. He suggested some items to try. My wife and I both got the rotisserie chicken plate. Not dark meat. She had the Cole slaw and the tomato and cucumber salad. I had the Cole slaw and collard greens. Everything was delicious. The manager came over to the table and chatted with us. She was very nice and professional. The ambience was great. Overall it's a hidden gem. Loved the entire experience. We will return.

I was looking for something different tonight and remembered Waldo recently opened in the neighborhood. I checked out the menu online before arriving and it was a great help. I order the tender combo which came with fries, slaw, and toast. The prices were very reasonable! When I got to the window, I asked the young lady for a recommendation and she told me the biscuits were one of her favorites. I added them to my ticket. In no time, I was handed my food and on my way. The chicken was juicy, tender, and tasty. I had comeback sauce and it's definitely something I will revisit! The fries were overcooked. I ended up throwing half of them away. The biscuit remind of my Jim & Nick, but tasty nonetheless. If chicken is something you want, add this place to the list!

Fried chicken dinner - two sides and sauces of your choice

Checked this place out while on my lunch break. This was my second time going it was sooo good. The fried chicken is crispy and VERY well seasoned. The fries were amazing! Seasoning is perfect. I got the coleslaw and it was amazing. No heavy dressing just veggies and a light dressing/mayo. Highly recommend this place. Even convinced my coworkers by word of mouth and they agree. Waldo's is good! Services was quick and easy. Order at the counter and wait for them to bring out the food to your number.

Stumbled on this place and what a happy accident!! This is going to be one of our new favorite hangouts!! My husband and I both got the "Fowl Mouth" chicken sandwich!! Burned our face off in a great way!! It is fried in habanero oil then tossed in the "comeback" sauce with jalapeño slaw. The owner came up and introduced himself, then really won us over by giving us so homemade banana pudding! It was so delicious that I had to take some to go! The bar inside is the perfect size with about 10 seats. About 8 local beers on tap, plus more in cans to choose from. 2pm-6pm daily, all draft beer is half off!!!! Not to mention all day happy hour on Tuesday and Sunday!!! If you are looking for a great spot to try, you HAVE to stop by here!!! Highly recommend!!!!

Today was my first visit to Waldo's and they did not disappoint. Troy took my order and was very helpful and courteous. I tried the Freebird club and Mac cheese. Both were delicious! The sandwich was a little sweet and spicy with chicken tenders and crispy bacon and the Mac and cheese was some of the best I've ever tried. This place will be a regular stop for me.

1/2 a fried chicken with tomato cucumber salad.

I had a hankering for some fried chicken and had heard about Waldo's Chicken and Beer which is a small chain which started in Nashville. Hey Siri fingers, fried chicken and rotisserie chicken as well as an assortment of sides. Sharpsburg, GA. Victoria served me as I sat at the bar. I ordered a local brew, which is always a plus. I decided on half a fried chicken and sampled a couple of the sauces. The habanero oil being especially tasty. The size included fresh cut shoestring potatoes and a very tasty tomato cucumber onion salad. A chicken in my opinion was nice, crispy and very moist and tender on the inside The owner Troy introduced himself and gave me a sample of their banana pudding. A southern recipe Just like Mom would make. I definitely recommend this place and if you're in the area would suggest you stop in and pick up a bucket to go or enjoy eating with a good beer. As well, they do have a liquor selection for those who would prefer. I think next time I will try the rotisserie chicken and let you know how that turns out.

We had the pork rind nachos to start. holy moly was it great. tangy, spicy, crunchy, salty. yum. then we split the pork chops over the grits (they added cheese for us) and that was also incredible. the food was just great. our server and the staff were young and very informative - Caden was our server, nice job Caden. The place is listed as a gastropub and i've never thought of it as such, and i suppose in some ways the food is but its so much better, and the atmosphere is definitely NOT that. It sort of made me laugh to actually see a LOT of babies there...their parents were there too - it just wasn't a bunch of babies having a night on the town. As a parent myself, it was nice to see families out with their kids and the kids were all pretty darn well behaved. All in all, VERY well done Curious Pig. I shall return.

It's always sad to me when this happens, because in my opinion having great food is the hard part. Seeing them excel in that but fail the easy stuff is hard :( What they struck out on: - host and hostess chatting when we walked up, they seemed to be complaining about something. We didn't receive any smiles. Didn't feel like they wanted to be there. Yes I understand it's a job, but warm welcomes are important and they are the first impression for a customer when they walk in. - It was 80 degrees and dreadfully humid outside since it had been raining. They had the doors open and I didn't see or feel any fans or air conditioning running. I saw a patron using a hand fan while we ate. - Since there was no air conditioning running, all the steam from the dishwashing and cooking in the kitchen came out to the dining area and lingered in the air the entire time we ate. We thought it was smoke at first but it didn't have a smell, when we walked out to leave I felt the steam leaving the kitchen area - Unbearably loud. I'm not sure why the acoustics are so bad but there is just nothing absorbing any noise. All the ruckus just echoes. Pretty sure this was mainly due to the tables being somewhat close together and the chairs having no sound buffers. It was suuuper loud when people got up to leave and when bussers were cleaning the tables. - Out of the fried green tomatoes which we were excited to order. - I ran out of water while eating. My drink didn't get filled until maybe 10-15 mins later. - Our waitress was running around, very busy. We didn't get checked on that much. It wasn't her fault. She was very courteous and was working hard. They seemed to not have enough staff on hand. - The napkins shed everywhere? When I opened my napkin a cloud of lint came up from it. It was all over my black shorts when we left. - Ends of the tables were all scratched up. - Decor is a bit of a hodgepodge. Having fake candles at each table for a place that gives southern farmhouse is an interesting choice. - The pimento cheese plate came with only 5 mini pieces of toast. We had to ask for more which was an upcharge. There's no way all the pimento cheese could be eaten on 5 pieces. Their home runs: - The food was amazing. I really liked the steak frites. I ordered the steak medium. It was nice and tender. The fries were seasoned and crispy. The chimichurri sauce was great. My friend and I both liked the pimento cheese and the bread that it came with. We weren't crazy about the house pickles. My friend loved her caesar salad. - The prices are great. Super affordable for high quality food. - Menu is expansive. - We had no wait to be seated. - No trouble parking. Location is convenient. As you can see, the list of cons is very very long. It was truly an odd thing to experience, since the place had such great food. I'm thinking the Curious Pig needs a restaurant management consultant or something? We might try this place again sometime later. We'll see.

We both ordered a popular bourbon cocktail (I can't remember what it was called) and the 12 hour boneless short ribs. For dessert, we ordered the chocolate peanut butter cake. Everything was delicious! Negative remarks: * We wish there was more meat per serving (the short ribs were $25). * After we finished eating, our waitress disappeared for 15 minutes. We have some nice ones but Pascals will always be my favorite. It had been several years since we had dined here. It was the first time since the new owners. We had been once before when it was still transitioning from Pascal to the new owner. It was great to see that it was a popular destination even on a Thursday night. The decor has not changed very much, still very European feeling. Service was Top notch... Very attentive. There were several large groups celebrating. Different events are just getting together and it didn't seem to affect the pace of the kitchen or the service. The stuff founder was one of the best I've had. The fish was fresh and the saffron sauce was light in lovely. Not the best scallopini I've had but it was still delicious. I think the veal needed to be beaten more. They had a happy hour special of appetizers that went along with the drink specials, and on Thursday nights they have half price bottle wines. We decided on escargots for our appetizer since we were celebrating, don't get those very often. I wouldn't order them again... If you really love escargotes then they would be okay or you might be even more disappointed... Not in the garlicky butter stuff. That makes them so good. These we're a little gritty. The appetizers were outstanding. Since we were in the south, we had to try the Green Fried Tomatoes, which were good especially with the goat cheese garnishment . The Lobster Deviled Eggs were outstanding also. For entrees, our party had the halibut, the Steak au poivre, (2x, one medium and the other medium well) and the flounder. All of them were excellent, but special remarks must be given to the halibut. It was truly delicious. The deserts were a perfect closure. One negative comment: the wine availability was "meh". We ordered one bottle from the list that was not available. The substitution was ok. The white wine bottle we ordered as the seafood complement was adequate but did not match the otherwise extraordinary quality of everything else. We also had two very good cosmopolitans, with a local flare. Definitely will try those again. Will visit again when in the area!
