It started well with the server greeting us and getting our drink order quickly, but went down hill fast ( or should i say "slow ") as after 50 minutes and multiple inquiries about the order readiness, we finally got or food. (Fyi, there were only 2 other small parties in the restaurant). The items cooked on the grill tasted like dirty grill, the grits were good, as was the biscuit, but the main items, eggs, omelet, hash browns, bacon, all had that nasty grill taste. Its a shame as we gad high hopes for a good bfast experience. Do yourself a favor and save some time, pass 613 by and go with option b.

The only issue we had was learning that the locals in Serenbe did not frequent Austin's as much as they should. If I lived in Serenbe, I would be a regular to this amazing restaurant. The fries are the seasoned style and are really good as well. They have a topping station so you can dress up your burger however you like: pickles, lettuce, tomato, onions, jalapeños. It's a basic strip shopping center so it's nothing fancy but the prices are reasonable and you can usually find a coupon in the local ads. Normally when something is hyped up it doesn't turn out to be as good but Hamburger Mikes is as good as advertised! The only thing that I think would make it better is some burger sauce.
