To be honest, at first I was intimidated to start my fitness journey (as some may be) but Jay could not have made me feel any more comfortable with where my starting point and ability was at. He keeps it real with you and tells you exactly what you need to know, keeping close attention to my eating habits and informing me/educating me on more healthier ones. Motivation is key and Jay knows how to keep his clients motivated, making each workout different and keeping it fun and interesting. As I've seen a change in my strength and structure, I look more and more forward to what workout Jay has planned for me, knowing they've been intensified for what my body can and can't handle. Jay makes sure to focus on each of his clients individually rather than a whole, altering that days workout just for you while paying close attention to correct form. During our workouts we focus on exercises that will work multiple muscle groups to build strength but he also emphasizes cardio to improve heart health and core exercises to improve stability. Most importantly to me as a physician, Jay focuses on overall well being - reminding me regularly to reduce stress (consistent sleep, time outside), increase protein intake, and water intake. My initial goal was to lose weight. And with Jay, I've not only lost weight but I'm also stronger and more confident that I have ever been. I'm so grateful to Jay as a trainer and friend.

They have been BEYOND accommodating in all respects, including as it relates to scheduling flexibility. I'm in the best shape of my life, and I am very grateful to NexGen for helping me get there. To address the critical review regarding billing, I can say from personal experience that they have always promptly addressed any billing adjustments that have been required when I have missed a scheduled session (because payment is made monthly in advance) and have never been dishonest in the slightest. It's extremely disappointing that someone would disparage a small business that is adding a ton of value to the local community, particularly when it falsely represents how the business is conducted.

He somehow remembers everything we've ever worked on and keeps our sessions super focused without being intense or overwhelming. I've made more progress here in a few months than I have in years of wandering aimlessly around other gyms. The studio is spotless, private, and has great energy.
