I came specifically for this greek cheese named kaseri. It is hard to find anywhere except Greece but they have it. They have a lot of greek cheeses so if you are into something different come check it out. They also have tiropita and spinakopita which are staples for any greek bakery/market. Try the tiropita... they are ridiculous. In the front they also have an assortment of different olives. You can even sample a couple if you want! You can pick up a lot of different meditterean treats and I would suggest stopping in if you are in the area. Cool spot!

I went back today to get some more and there was a man in there who was so incredibly rude I'm still picking my jaw up from the ground. He talked down to me like I was an idiot when I asked a question about the feta. And he also said the price of the feta increased, which I wonder if that's true under the circumstances. When I pushed back and said to him, you know I'm trying to support local businesses, I can bring my business elsewhere, he said I didn't understand him - again it's me and not him. I said I understood him perfectly. What a horrible, disrespectful and rude man. He said he respects everyone and everything. I can tell you right now he doesn't. I hope he's not the owner. He mentioned at some point that he is Albanian if that helps pinpoint who he is. I see other people have mentioned a rude man and wondering if it's the same person. I really want to support the community, but I have to tell you after my experience today, I doubt I'll be going back in there. This is New York City. There are plenty of other places to find delicious feta cheese and have a pleasant experience. It's a shame. Very disappointed.
