Been to this restaurant a few times ! The atmosphere is so nice ! They have a great bar and the Christmas decorations are so sweet ! Had a large graduation party a few weeks ago and my husband had never been I really enjoyed the nachos and we were a large party over 20 and the waiter did such a great job for our dinner! The Mexican breakfasts are to due for. My favorites are the Mailman Special and Huevos ala Americana. If you are a garlic fan, ask to add garlic to the scramble mix--fab!! I think that this is my favorite Mex. restaurant here. The staff works together to ensure that all of your needs are met in a timely manner. I can walk in at 2 pm, ask to order off their breakfast menu, customize my order, and still am met with great service (no grudges). I have only eaten a variety of items off of the breakfast menu, so I cannot vouch for other items, but the food here keeps me coming back time and time again. read more

Nice ambiance for a small strip-center spot. Service was excellent, and the food was very good. Had shrimp fajitas and it included a nice portion of nice-sized shrimp. It comes with the grilled onions and red and green pepper (along with rice and beans), and you pick two additional from cheese, sour cream, guacamole, etc. only came with two tortillas, but they offered more so all good! Also had a skinny margarita which was very tasty. And chips and salsa were very good. Will return for sure. read more

Another local restaurant just a couple of miles from our home - that we've never come to, until today. So many good places in our area but this one ranks at the top of our list now. We stopped in early on a Friday evening. They have a lot of tables in the dining room but it seems popular so get here earlier. Or prepare to wait a little bit. They're located in a very small strip center and it doesn't look like much outside. Once you step inside - it's transformed into a very quaint mom n pop restaurant. We definitely got a comfortable feeling with their ambiance. After waiting about 15 minutes we were seated. The wait staff is top notch. They're super friendly and very attentive. The chips and salsa came out quickly and our drinks were brought to us a few minutes after we got our drinks. We ordered a cup of the Kassandra's dip which was equally awesome. A very good queso with ground beef in it. I ordered the combo fajitas, which were UNBELIEVABLY amazing! So much flavor and loved those homemade tortillas. Even the rice and beans had so much flavor in them. My wife chose the Barbacoa burrito. It looked so good I had to steal a bite. Instantly had some envy of her choice. I'll get that next time for sure. All this and it didn't break the bank. Amazing food, clean restaurant, awesome service and very reasonable. We found a new favorite! read more

Solid Tex-Mex. Tacos, enchiladas, refried beans all have great flavor. Food is served in a comfortable, relaxed setting. The complimentary chips are fresh and warm, but lack flavor. I remember seeing photos here on Yelp of Christmas decor at Kassandra's, a large nativity scene and greenery and twinkle lights... I still haven't visited at Christmastime but I've come here for breakfast and loved it and wish I lived closer. The breakfast tacos are really delicious, yummy tortillas and if you like beans, these refried beans are top notch. I had Pancho's Special: 2 eggs any style (over medium for me) topped with grilled onion, jalapeños, and tomatoes.. and it comes with beans, hash browns, and tortillas. It's a lot of flavorful food and every bite combo is so good. Especially with salsa. Oooh the chips and salsa are good! And try Kassandra's queso (queso with seasoned ground beef), it's addictive. They serve breakfast all day here and the options are robust, from Mexican dishes like carne guisada and migas to biscuits and gravy, pancakes, French toast, and omelettes. And that's just breakfast... they also have a whole lunch/dinner menu that's all Mexican food and a few hamburgers. The menu is a little overwhelming with so many options but it's mostly just different combos of the same delicious ingredients... as long as you have warm tortillas, ooooh anything you order is going to taste good with them! read more

Service was super bad and slow. salsa was watery and not good. Kassandra dip (queso with beef) wasn't good - I think the cheese was fine but maybe it was the beef. We couldn't really eat any because they wouldn't come by to give us chips for it and service was slow. Quesadillas were eh... not great. I absolutely LOVE this place. If it's open. Go. Nothing is bad here. Why missing one star? Hours are not consistent. More than once a group of us have met on a random day to find them not open, and like today, I'm calling to make sure (everything says open) and yet no one answers and no recording with hours or saying they are closed. Had a late afternoon craving for Tex-Mex and Kassandra's was right on the way. Can't believe I haven't been here more often. I think I last stopped by a decade ago for takeout breakfast tacos (!) On this day though, I had a perfect chili cheese relleno dinner with rice and vegetarian refried beans, a cheese enchilada, & a house margarita on the rocks. There was enough dinner to take home half for another day - possibly because the chips & salsa were so good, and I filled up a bit on that! Love that they make their tortillas in-house. I really want to like Kassandra's, it's such a cute place, and local but it's just not for me. Went to Kassandra's for lunch several months ago, started drafting a 3 star review for not so yummy food and way to hard chips but paused thinking I'd give it another shot before making an assessment. Today I returned trying out their breakfast, ordered a potato/ chorizo plate with NO egg (allergic) and corn tortillas. Received the plate with eggs and flour- not corn- tortillas. The over easy egg had busted seeping yolk into half my plate so I was only able to skim off the top on the remaining half of food and again, the food taste isn't my liking and failure to prepare food as ordered is a big disappointment. After a breakfast and lunch experience it's clear this place just isn't for me. read more

We recently discovered this place - recommended by some friends. Our first meal was so good, we went back a week later. Everything we've tried is really good. My wife is crazy about their cheese enchiladas with the Ranchero sauce....best she's ever eaten. I've had a little bit of everything and have enjoyed it all. Good service and fair prices. Met the owner on our first visit. Very personable. Working his tail off to keep things going with chronic low staffing issues. We stopped in to have lunch with our son and his family. It's an amazing little restaurant. The staff were very attentive and the food was awesome. They kept us supplied in lots of chips and salsa. We went thru several baskets of chips. The chips were good but nothing special. I ordered the sour cream chicken. When they brought it out, I thought I got the wrong thing because there was no sour cream visible. I assumed it would be covered in sour cream. I decided to try whatever it was. I got 3 chicken breasts. Two were grilled and absolutely delicious and really tender. One had a coating and was baked with a sour cream cheese sauce over it. It was also very tender and delicious. I loved the refried beans. The rice was ok so I mixed it with the beans and it was really good. The prices were great, especially for the amount of food we got. We will definitely go back. It is Christmas time and they had a large manger scene in the restaurant. I loved showing it to abs explaining it to my granddaughter. read more

I'm giving 5 stars so I don't hurt their ratings, but fun fact, Kassandra's is closed on Saturday and Sunday. Such a shame, that's when the hubs and I can go out for lunch or dinner. What's crazy is they appear to be replacing their business sign on the building so it says "Kassandra's We're open" which ofc I realize that means they're still in business (but closed on Saturday and Sunday has to be hurting them. Anyway, we will go back when we can, I love Mexican food and heard their entrees are very good, so we will be back. This is such a cute restaurant. Definitely a "hole in the wall" but also a must-try! I came with a friend on a Friday night and was seated immediately. The service was great, and everyone who came to the table was very friendly. I had a margarita and the cowboy enchiladas - the margarita was great without being overpowering. We decided to try Kassandras today. Walking in there was a sign noting they were short staffed. So we were prepared for a leisure lunch. We were seated after just a short wait. Chips and salads was dropped and our dink orders taken. A short time later the waitress came for our order. We order queso and the carnitas fajitas. It took a long time for our queso to come and it was delivered without chips, it took the arrival of our meal before anyone came back. This was our only hiccup. The carnitas fajitas were great. My bestie and I enjoyed an early dinner here on a Friday. When we walked in, we were instantly enamored with the charming and comfortable atmosphere. Chips & salsa were delish! Kassandras is all our time favorite restaurant in Keller. They have amazing food, service is outstanding, and they're quick getting the food to you. The owners are so nice, you can tell they put a lot of effort in the food and in the restaurant. It's so cute inside and I am JEALOUS of the Ivy's they have all over the restaurant! My family will never turn down a chance to eat here. I usually get the enchiladas or fajitas but my husband recently turned me on to the cowboy special... it's enchiladas with fajitas on top. Have eaten here several times. While the service has been quite good and the food better than former Tio Carlos (this town lacks quality restaurant options), the portions are a bit skimpy. Last night there again was no one to greet us at the front and we had to wait for several minutes before a waiter noticed us and helped us.
