Tres Leches fro Kassandra's. One left for tomorrow's 2025 Thanksgiving.

Ordered their Tres Leches Desert Cake for Thanksgiving. It was made by Juan's two daughters. Absolutely worth this special holiday treat. Maybe they'll offer for Christmas and New Year's 2026.

Great place. Great food. Closed Sundays to allow their employees rest and worship. Love the brisket enchiladas- Tex Mex I think is what it's called. Great for large parties if needed.

Nice ambiance for a small strip-center spot. Service was excellent, and the food was very good. Had shrimp fajitas and it included a nice portion of nice-sized shrimp. It comes with the grilled onions and red and green pepper (along with rice and beans), and you pick two additional from cheese, sour cream, guacamole, etc. only came with two tortillas, but they offered more so all good! Also had a skinny margarita which was very tasty. And chips and salsa were very good. Will return for sure.

Another local restaurant just a couple of miles from our home - that we've never come to, until today. So many good places in our area but this one ranks at the top of our list now. We stopped in early on a Friday evening. They have a lot of tables in the dining room but it seems popular so get here earlier. Or prepare to wait a little bit. They're located in a very small strip center and it doesn't look like much outside. Once you step inside - it's transformed into a very quaint mom n pop restaurant. We definitely got a comfortable feeling with their ambiance. After waiting about 15 minutes we were seated. The wait staff is top notch. They're super friendly and very attentive. The chips and salsa came out quickly and our drinks were brought to us a few minutes after we got our drinks. We ordered a cup of the Kassandra's dip which was equally awesome. A very good queso with ground beef in it. I ordered the combo fajitas, which were UNBELIEVABLY amazing! So much flavor and loved those homemade tortillas. Even the rice and beans had so much flavor in them. My wife chose the Barbacoa burrito. It looked so good I had to steal a bite. Instantly had some envy of her choice. I'll get that next time for sure. All this and it didn't break the bank. Amazing food, clean restaurant, awesome service and very reasonable. We found a new favorite!

Solid Tex-Mex. Tacos, enchiladas, refried beans all have great flavor. Food is served in a comfortable, relaxed setting. The complimentary chips are fresh and warm, but lack flavor. The salsa is overpowered by cilantro. Switch the cilantro for Serrano and this would be a salsa worth remembering. Very attentive service. I'm a fan.

I absolutely LOVE this place. If it's open. Go. Nothing is bad here. Why missing one star? Hours are not consistent. More than once a group of us have met on a random day to find them not open, and like today, I'm calling to make sure (everything says open) and yet no one answers and no recording with hours or saying they are closed. We don't dare have everyone meet at a closed restaurant. I really wish they would update the voicemail saying hours. Or have a website we can check.

I decided to stop by this location yesterday cause I wanted to order some shrimp and fish taco…read moretacos for me and my friends. I ordered two Baja fish tacos one that was fully loaded, one that only had lettuce, pico, and one that was just lettuce only. I ordered two shrimp tacos again one fully loaded and one with just lettuce. I also ordered a side of refried beans and rice. M the first disappointment was the lack of Customer Service not one person acknowledged the two or three of us that walked in for a good five minutes not even a hello. M one person walked out and the other person was trying to get some questions answered about the menu and I don't know if they weren't able to give him the answers he was looking for it, but he walked out I placed my order to go and it took nearly 15 minutes. During this time, there was one pick up order so I'm not sure why it was taking so long and there were like five or six people in the kitchen. When I finally got my order, I brought it home and when we opened it, we noticed that there is a very chemical smelling odor to the fish and the shrimp tacos, and the two that I had specifically ordered with just lettuce came fully loaded so one of my friends wasn't able to eat anything which was probably lucky for them because the two of us that were able to eat them got food poisoning. My one friend got sick within a couple of hours of eating and I got sick not long after that and was sick pretty much all night. To pay nearly $40 for the amount of food we order and to be that ill was not the best experience. There are other local Mexican restaurants that have much better tasting fish tacos in the area and much more reasonably priced with their menu Sadly, I will not be returning

I ordered: à la carte barbacoa street tacos fully loaded (all the toppings), à la carte carne asada street tacos fully loaded, and an order of Birria tacos. The good: -All the tacos were tasty. If you stop and grab your own fresh produce (cilantro, white onion, and lime) then you will enjoy them. -The people are friendly. The needs work: - I ordered a lot of tacos and I was given 0 limes. This should be a crime. Atleast a misdemeanor, especially after repeated violations! -Birria tacos consume is a step or 2 above brown water these days: very thin with no flavor. -The onions and cilantro on the side are not fresh. It's like the produce is tired after sitting out a day or two. - I purposely ordered à la carte tacos (they are $3.50 per taco), but when I get my bill I was charged for 1 à la carte taco and a half order of tacos. The half order is 2 for $8. I told the cashier at the window what I ordered and she said "it's basically the same thing", I said no, it's not, I explained the difference and then she asked if I wanted her to ring it up again. I said no and she offered me some beans which come in the half order of tacos. Yikes, just give a girl what she ordered next time. - Drive thru speaker was not working properly. Overall, will I be back, yes, but is this my go to? Not anymore. Frezko Taco Spot, you can still be in my life but we are no longer exclusive. We can't go steady anymore....

The chicken taco was actually better than the beef and I would've got two of those instead of two beef. Service was nice. She warned us about the spice of the red sauce and tried to give us the mild green one. We did try the sauce the other day with the nachos so we were fine. Ambiance is food truck. Their prices are pretty typical for a food truck - I'm happy to pay a little more than I would at a fast-casual or chain place to support a local business run by great people. I've posted pics of their menu from their online ordering site, which you can find here: https://easyeats.xyz/menu/f/ind/fid/487/ What is really awesome about them is their homemade salsas! The have 4 salsa verdes (although the spicy might be red?) to choose from for your order, no spice, mild, medium & hot. I stick with no spice and mild (both have incredible flavor) - the medium is too hot for this güera it was definitely tasty though, but I'm gonna stick to things with a little less burn haha. Try one or all of them with your order, they're happy to give you all you want (within reason, of course!) I personally love getting the steak quesadilla ($10.50) and a carnitas taco ($3). Lime, onions & cilantro come with tacos. Jalapeños, onions & cilantro with other entrees, but you can let them know to remove any if you don't want it. Find their Facebook page to keep up with where they are at! They come to my neighborhood about once a month on a weekday, which I love! So why 4 stars instead of 5? For food trucks, I'd give it 4.5 stars, only because I wish they had a one or two more meat options, and I don't like that they do their nachos on those circular yellow chips that come in giant bags, because my go-to thing to try would be nachos, but I just hate those kinds of chips. And of course, because it's a food truck and their expenses are higher, your dollar doesn't get you as much as you could at a chain or fast-casual concept. So that's not something I could justify spending on too regularly, but happy to do it once a month I see them nearby, because it definitely hits the spot and being a small business is tough and being in the restaurant/food industry makes that tougher. So go support them when they're nearby you soon!

There are a few tables and booth and bar seating available. I've had the street taco platter twice now, and it is SO good. I've tried the pastor, asada, and barbacoa, and the pastor is definitely my favorite. The platter comes with rice and beans in addition to your choice of meat for three tacos. I also love that it comes with a spicy verde salsa and limes! The queso is another favorite. It's delicious, and they give you a really generous portion. I've ordered chips and queso both times, and there's plenty for one person. And if you're a margarita person, their to-go margaritas are such a fun bonus! They seal them up so you can safely take them home. Price-wise, it seems comparable to other Mexican restaurants in the area. My street taco platter, chips, and queso came out to around $25, which I think is pretty reasonable for the amount of food. Both times I've stopped in for a to-go order, I've been in and out in under 10 minutes, which is a huge plus. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you're looking for street tacos in the area.
