This business used to be a food truck that frequented local events. Now they have permanent spot in Keller's eastern business district. The tacos were delicious, I had Tacos Al Pastor, my wife the Carne Asada. Both were great! This family run business treats their customers like family. The interior is modern, clean taqueria look. Our only disappointment was the salsa, it's too gringo-centric, it would be nice if they offered a hotter, more flavorful salsa.

What a nice surprise to find this hidden gem close by. Avila Taco is family owned and operated, originally started as a food truck and now has a retail location here in Keller. The menu has plenty of options to choose from, but they're best known for their birria meat and tacos. The pichana caught our eye as a shareable option: 8 ounces of perfectly seared and seasoned medium rare beef, along with cilantro lime rice, pinto beans, and blue sopes trio consisting of beef, chicken, and al pastor pork toppings--absolutely delicious. Additional tortillas were necessary, and they brought them out in a flash. Avila Taco is definitely a place you want to take your time and enjoy your meal, you definitely get that home cooked feeling with service as if you were a family dinner.

My family and I tried out Avila Taco after seeing amazing reviews online. The food was alright, but considering the reviews, we expected to be blown away. I also wish they had fountain drinks. I would definitely give it another shot and try something else!

The food is amazing, the place is super clean, and the service is so kind! We will def be back for some more tacos!

We picked up an order to eat at home and oh my - oh my! How delicious . The nachos and the tacos we ordered tasted freshly made and not aged and gelatinous (as what usually happens with nachos & tacos from other establishments). Already planning on making a return visit to eat inside!

Food was really good. The Birria grilled cheese 10/10! Tacos should be a bit crispier but still really good.

Run -- don't walk -- to Avila. The birria was absolutely delicious, and the service was spot on. The owner was incredibly friendly and even came out to chat with me, which made the experience feel personal and welcoming. A surprising standout for me was the salsa verde -- honestly the best I've ever had. I'll be ordering extra next time without question. They offer both beef and chicken birria (I've only had the beef so far, but the chicken is next on my list), and they serve it in all kinds of fun and creative ways -- including birria grilled cheese and birria mac and cheese. I'm already looking forward to my next visit. Avila Taco is a must-stop in Keller and a place I'll be returning to time and time again!

I've wanted to try this place ever since I saw people posting about it on Facebook. They were busy, but attentive. The owner walked around and checked on everyone. The food was delicious. We will definitely be back to try more!

Best birria in the DFW area! I have been to the one in downtown Fort Worth that has a form of a Michelin star. They are good, but this place is better. Atmosphere wise it's a mix between a velvet taco and a taco casa. The staff is well informed and very kind. Try it!

Very good Birria grilled cheese sandwich, comes with fries. This was our first stop at Avila Taco, and we plan to return to try more of the menu. This is a small casual, order at the register spot. The service was very friendly (especially an older gentleman, wish I had gotten his name). Had a pretty good crowd for lunch on a Friday. Check it out.

The food is so good here. I had the quesadilla and loved it. My husband had the Birria grilled cheese and loved it. I wish it was opened on Sunday though.

Glad we stopped here for lunch. The food was delicious and owner was very nice and offered us to try his Birria! It was delicious! The blue corn Sopes trio was unique and would order again. We'll be back!

The restaurant is very elegant, very neat, clean and well organized. I got there as they opened, and was promptly greeted by Ms. Lucy, hoste/waitress, who was soft spoken, very welcoming, with a very nice smile and beautiful personality, and was very efficient. She took my order, brought me a glass of water, and I ordered the Shoyu chicken ramen for $13.00 plus $2.00 added for a large. The Shouyu Chicken ramen was very delicious, the chicken broth was so good great flavor. Albeit, in my humble opinion the noodles, other toppings and chicken was very sparse for the price of the ramen. But, as far as taste goes it was one the best I have had so far. I also had the chicken fried rice bowl, for $10.00 $2.00 added for chicken, and gyoza (6pcs), for $7.00. to go for my daughter. The chicken fried rice was very flavorful, and daughter said the guys was very delicious. I will most definitely be coming here again the food was very satisfying, Ms. Lucy, is awesome and very kind. Gyoza to start that were nice and crispy, could have done with more than the teaspoonful of sauce we were given though. Maximum tea points, hot green tea that tasted delicious and was served in the cutest little pot I've seen in a while. It was a terrible pourer though, but the waiter warned me and put some napkins on the table to clean up. The ramen was quite disappointing, I know how spoiled I currently am with the memory of Ichibahn burned into my brain, but...these were quite pricey and not that good. The broth was lightly flavored with little depth, the beansprouts and corn (why are these in my ramen?) Moved the flavour profile even brighter and there was quite a lot of green onion. With a $5 add on for 2 small slices of extra pork that's a $20 bowl. So yes, 3 stars. They have bottled Kirin so I might be back, but I will be exploring the other menu items.

The atmosphere was very clean and well maintained. I have two cons: They clean the tables themselves so a couple of tables still had plates on the when we arrived and when we left they still weren't picked up. It's located in Hurst in a little strip mall that's mostly empty but you can see the concentration of business and cars in the corner on the side where this restaurant is, when we first walked in we both noticed a bit of a strange smell like I would describe as mildew and I think that's because they were running two portable air conditioner units inside so I don't think this is something that's on the regular and after we sat down neither of us noticed it again. As we walked in I also noticed That this place has a nice little cozy feel to it with some interesting decor, beautiful paintings on the wall and kind of an old school feel which I enjoy, there's an upstairs section that's pretty cool looking also where you can have private events or family style gatherings. Right off the bat the service was very friendly and attentive, we ordered two appetizers the shrimp Yakitori and an order of the pork and vegetable egg rolls both appetizers were fresh and delicious, I also had upon the servers recommendation their honey lemon ice tea which was very good. For our entrees My girlfriend ordered the spicy beef bulgogi and I ordered the spicy pork bulgogi, our food came out in a timely manner and was fresh and hot. The portion size was very good and I was happy to see the ratio of meat to vegetable was about 90% meat to 10% vegetable which is what I expect in a bulgogi. Overall I really liked this place and if I'm in Hurst I wouldn't hesitate to drop back in for some more delicious Korean food at Yori! P.s. No table grills just FYI

The place was empty when we we came, 530p on a Wednesday. Took a seat and were waited on immediately (obviously) and browsed the menu. They had several "special" rolls and then their standard options too, but I'm talking at least 40 different options...so we took our time. We started with a 2025 roll and a Hawaii roll. Both had about 7-8 pieces and were decent size. Not super big and not small, definitely fair for the price. Both were really, really good, and more importantly, tasted fresh! We added a 2020 roll as a finisher and it too was really good. A few other people showed up during our dinner. They have good lounge, house music playing and its very clean inside. I ran across Little Lily Sushi Too and decided to give it a try. I ordered the Tuna Tower, spicy tuna roll, the chicken kaarage appetizer and a miso soup (to go). I was greeted warmly upon entering, and my food was prepared quickly and packaged securely. It's the only time I've ordered a Tuna Tower (from any sushi restaurant in the last 4 years) that remained intact and beautifully presented when I unpacked my order. Everything was delicious and prepared with skill and care. I love the flavor of the lump crab in the tuna tower (most places use imitation crab, which is tasty, but is less refined tasting than what I ordered today). The spicy tuna roll definitely had a bit of a "kick", in a good way. And not a mayo-based spicy tuna. The chicken kaarage was very tasty, though it lost a little bit of the crunchy batter texture from the drive back to my home. But very flavorful, and the chicken was tender and juicy. The miso soup had a richness to the flavor...very comforting for a cold evening. I'm glad I found this gem in the Keller area! I'm looking forward to trying some of their other menu items in the future.

We enjoyed the octopus salad, chicken kaarage, some fried fish that came on the house, super philidelphia roll, crawfish roll, softshell crab, chicken katsu don, and salmon skin handroll. Everything was really great quality and quantity. My top favorites for the night were the octopus salad, a great combonation of seaweed salad, octopus, and cucumber salad. Extremely flavorful and a great way to start the night. The chicken kaarage was beautifully battered, not too heavy and very well seasoned, pairing well with the sauce that accompanied it. The soft shell crab... was one of the best I've had in DFW! I honestly was tempted to order more because it was nicely fried (seriously a great batter) and the light sauce helped amplify the flavor of the crab. Yummmm! The salmon skin handroll was tasty and crunchy with a nice balance of flavor. I think the key is making sure you eat from the sides and have a bit of the center with each bite, since the sauce is centralized there. If not I can see it being too salty for some.
