3 combo

Our 1st visit to Frezko's, Keila took our orders and was pleasant we decided on the 2 and 3 taco combos Carnitas, Carne Asada, Barboca with elote corn, chips, and queso fresco and choco flan to finish the meal. This tacos were packed full and the flavorful, the protein was very good and served hot and greasy the chips and queso was delicious, the corn elote missed the mark. What really stood out though was the cleanliness of the place, tables were dirty, the salsa station and refreshment counter was sticky from drinks. Really took away from the experience. They had steady traffic and the setup is designed more it seems for food delivery or pickup as we watched a steady flow come and go while there. Really good food , friendly counter staff, quick service. Just wish the inside was cleaner.

Copa De Elote.... You can't be serious

Was so excited for the elote and received this. lol. Been here before and was worth the 15 min wait but very disappointed this time.

Carne Chimichanga!

Love this place. Never disappoints. Chimichanga is a tasty new addition to the menu! Some great tasting queso!

Veggie burritos and rice

Ok after some evening grocery shopping we were determined to have some good food to end the night. I we just left the grocery store but we were both craving some Birra Tacos and queso. So Frezko it is said our stomachs. Our sever Edwin was definitely a master of the menu. The vibe is like walking into your aunties kitchen and uncle playing old school jams in the garage. BUT there was on error Edwin gave our food to another person instead of calling to number to confirm order. I did ask for a free bag of chips which I was denied. I just due to a minor error a bag of chips would make me free ok.

Not a good photo but people were in line.

Taco spot for a quick meal while you get an oil change next door. We had Birria tacos and my son got a side of beans. Beans were plain but not bad. The tacos were stuffed full of meat and cheese. Super good, hot and filling. The consommé was more like a broth not much flavor. Loud music was a bit distracting for such a small place. Girl at the counter was just quiet which made it hard to hear with the music. I'd recommend.

Second time here and this place has not let me down. Went with the carnita tacos and the meat was so tender. I ordered my tacos street styles with a side of charro beans along with chips and queso. Perfect lunch, perfect combo (#2) and a perfect way to start the weekend

We absolutely love this place... It's up there for top taco in all of DFW for me! There's only one other place that competes, but we continue to eat away at their entire menu and love it all. The thing about this place is that each of their meat options are delectable, none or less good than the other. They also allow you to get all four meats on each of the dishes and topping wise you can fully load it up as well. We love all of their tacos, Birria tacos, HUGE quesadillas, really big burritos, beans, salsas and guacamole. They have hands-down the best queso, and the one I've been searching for. I don't generally lean burrito at these places,, but here they have the best burrito in all of the land. The only area for improvement would be Customer Service. We've been here about six times now and four of those times they made me wait for a really long time for my pick up order or forgot about my order completely.

I am not a fan. The food was just okay. I had a combo 1 and the chips were hard/stale. The guy taking the orders flipped to making orders. He kept coughing and it was not a fun environment when you are eating inside the restaurant. I do echo that you should eat there since they do tend to mess up orders. He originally bought me elote (corn) when I ordered rice. No biggie just be mindful. So it's not for me and I won't be back.

I saw a picture of menudo on here. What days/when is it available?

I Randomly makes POZOLE, Menudo, Tamales, Guisados etc etc. but it's not a dish we carry on the daily. If you watch us via social media is where I brings back the classics!

Is this the same amazing Frezko's that closed in Southlake?

Yes!

Do the Birria taco made with Lamb, Beef or Chicken? I know that the authentic Birria is made with Lamb so I wanted to ask before coming by. Thanks.

Beef!!!!!!!!!! :)

What is not to love? As we're celebrating our 55th anniversary this month we were presented with a lovely, complementary sparkly rose. As today is Cinco de Mayo a Margarita was in order and the house pour was lovely. We shared a bottle of California Sauvignon Blanc to accompany the Ceviche Tatemado followed by the Tacos de Barbacoa which is the Tuesday lunch special. Both the ceviche and barbacoa tacos were just so enjoyable. The striped bass and octopus ceviche here is a unique preparation that sings in the tangy lime and Serrano vinaigrette in which it is prepared. The barbacoa is so flavorful and tender; and the thin, house made flour tortilla is fried crispy on the flat top before being filled. So good.

Servers provided a great experience aside from a bunch of flies (ate outside on the patio and were waving at flys most of the night). Three stars for the prices. We are an entirely vegetarian meal with no alcohol and paid $400 for a party of six...and we were sharing (yes, you read that correctly). $13 for a side of Mexican rice. $18 for essentially a side mashed potatoes. $16 for grilled vegetables. And the portions were SMALL. We were sharing across four adults and three kids and everyone only ended up getting a tiny amount. It was really difficult believing we were receiving any real value...it felt like the Don and figured out how to have unsuspecting guests pay double! It to say this isn't a legit high-end Mexican restaurant, it is. But I would more realistically describe it as a high-end steak house with wrap-around Mexican dishes (which explains why the side prices were so extreme). Kids quesadillas with steak were $17 a piece with no sides other than potato chips (a little odd given the context). Anyway, I'll end it where I began...food was good, servers were great...but just not worth the price. If the bill had been half or the portions were larger, it would have felt like we were actually getting value for our money.

Very chic and trendy great place for photo ops catching up with a friend or having a date night. I had the sirloin fajitas for lunch. We tried the corn and flour tortillas. I was super impressed by the quality of all the food you could tell that the tortillas were made from scratch and the food was prepared with love. The atmosphere was a vibe. Waterfall outside for cute photos definitely loved it. The Service was on point. All of the servers were very knowledgeable, helpful and left us wanting for nothing kept the skinny margaritas flowing. They were fresh tangy and delightful. 10 out of 10. Definitely recommend.

I ordered take out and sat at the bar while I waited for my entree.Ordered two drinks while I waited, got the one at the top of the menu and a skinny margarita and they tasted exactly the same ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ they got the job done and were fine. Food: I got the enchiladas three ways with steak. You can take the regular three sauces or choose just one if you'd like. Green sauce is the best, white sauce is pretty good, and the red mole is fine but I wish I would have swapped it out with the spicy almost (orange) sauce that comes with the seafood enchiladas. That sauce looks so good! My partner did not like the red sauce at all, again I thought it was fine just not amazing like the other two. Beans and rice are good, nothing special. Nothing wrong with the chips and salsa just run of the mill. Other thoughts: I wish I had just ate my food at the bar instead of ordering take out. Bar seats are comfortable, views of a tv for anyone sitting at the bar, and it's just a nice comfortable atmosphere in there. The hostess and bar tenders I interacted with provided great service.

They're your typical trendy taco place, with their own selection of merchandise and crazy/cheesy jokes strewn about on t-shirts and signage. They have an ample bar space, but it looked like only one patron was interested in that; the rest of us were there to eat. You order your food at the counter and get a buzzer to come back and pick it up. The staff is friendly enough, but you don't really interact with them much since it's all pretty much self service after you go to the counter. The drink station has cane sugar based sodas; it's a bit heavy on the foam, but otherwise good. We opted for the birria pizza, a couple of cups of pozole, and a side of elote. Everything was solid. The elote was good, not great, but the pozole really hit the spot given how cold it was outside. The birria pizza is what blew me away, though. This was easily one of the most unique, but tasty, things I've ever had. It's not really a pizza, more like a topped quesadilla, but they did a great job of it. I'd not only come back here next time I'm in Fort Worth, I'd be interested in opening a location in Houston if I had the money to franchise it.
