I wanted to like this taco truck because I like supporting small businesses, and it is close to my workplace, but unfortunately the food did not satisfy. I will say there is ample parking in the Valero parking lot, and the service was good. The carnitas were okay. The beans were just okay and that's not good. Beans are important! They pull the burrito's flavors together or not. The hot sauce was just okay too, which left the tortilla. Now THAT was the best part! The tortilla seemed homemade, plump, and had a good flavor. The agua de limón tasted like a powdered lemonade. I paid $15 for just the burrito and the drink. You can get a steak bowl at Chipotle for $11, have a variety of options, and sit in a cool restaurant. I don't mind sitting in my car if it is a great eating experience. I may give their tacos a try another time, but I did request barbacoa, yet they said they were out. That was at noon. For now, this is a "no" for an $11 burrito. read more

My siblings love the burrito especial here. They're go to meat is the carnitas. I tried the tacos and the taco bowl, both with carnitas. I liked both and they're a great value. The horchata comes in a big cup. We were shook when we were handed the cup. They have two salsa, red and verde. The red one is spicy and is a big vinegary while the green is not spicy. We prefer the green one because we aren't big on vinegary salsa. Overall a pretty decent food truck! read more

It wasn't too bad but it wasn't great either. I've been going around searching for a new street taco place but this just wasn't it. For starters the tacos are smaller and they're a tad more expensive than the usual $1.50. I had the al pastor tacos and they were a bit mushy and shredded like barbacoa. This is a little food trailer outside a gas station. They have tables set up outside for people to eat when the weather is nice. They have their menu on the outside and this place is cash only. The menu has drinks, tacos, gordita, etc. The meat options include; pork, chicken, beef, Barbacoa, I think tripe and a couple others. I ordered pork and beef tacos, for two tacos it cost $3, I was kind of expecting it to be cheaper since it's such a small operation. I personally think since the tacos were small they should charge less. Both the pork and the beef was super salty, on the bright side they did put a decent amount on the tiny tortilla. The cilantro didn't look that fresh on the tacos and the verde sauce had no flavor. I was expecting more from a little mom and pop taco stand. read more

Let me start by saying I'm a taco snob...especially after being in Houston for a few years lol. No reviews for a bit, so figured would leave my opinion. The food is very affordable and not bad. I ordered the elote and 4 tacos (barbacoa, carnitas, pastor, and asada). They were out of chicken which was a disappointment, though. The elote wasn't very good at all...too much liquid and even with a bunch of hot sauce (if read my other reviews, you would see I'm addicted to spicy food lol), was flavorless. The corn tortillas were a little small, even for corn tortillas, but overall the meat had good flavor and the hot sauce had enough of a kick to make my nose run a little (pretty good for a Mexican place, since their spice is a little more mild than I really love). They do take credit cards, according to their sign, if order more than $5 worth of food. Will I come here again? Unsure, but in this part of the state, good taco trucks or taquerias are a bit more "limited," so it is possible if in this are when open (close at 4, Monday through Thursday, but 10 on Friday..didn't notice weekend hours) read more

This is probably my favorite street taco joint in the area. Their pastor tacos are my favorite, but all of their food is exceptional! It's a small food truck type taco stand but don't let that fool you. The staff is very polite and courteous, and the food comes out piping hot. Try the hot red sauce! It's amazing! read more
