I keep coming here hoping for a good experience. The bar itself is pretty cool if you play darts or pool. The bartenders are terrible. Rude for no reason to complete strangers. My brother ordered a Modelo, bartender asked what size? My brother asked what the options were. She snapped back "you need to start specifying your size!". What in the world? It was our first order lol I've had nothing but rudeness from the female bartender with glasses. Every time I've been here she's been aggressively mean to everyone. I don't get it. Food was actually really tasty. Baked potato was awesome. Took a long time because said bartender didn't wring it in. Chef came out to make sure the food was good and it was. It's really just the bartenders that are rude. Bars like this are about regulars, way to make people not want to come back. read more

Bartenders are very rude ! They are the reason people don't want to go to the bar anymore. Numbers of people have decreased strictly because of the bartenders and the drama they cause. I had no choice but put one star on here even though I would give no stars all the bartenders need to be fired. Then that place will be making more money again and people will come back. read more

This was one of the most unprofessional, uncomfortable, and alarming experiences I have ever had in a bar -- and it only got worse the longer it went on. We arrived at Kat Daddy's at 1:25 AM, well before their posted 2:00 AM closing time. The bartender, Chryl, immediately approached us with hostility and said, "I will not serve you," before we even spoke, sat down, or asked for anything. There was no greeting, no explanation, and no mention of last call. Just immediate attitude and dismissal. When we calmly asked about the closing time, she responded by saying that she closes the bar whenever she wants, not at 2:00 AM. That alone was shocking. A bartender does not get to arbitrarily change posted business hours based on personal feelings. She then repeatedly brought up that she is pregnant, using it as justification for her behavior, and said she would only serve my friend because she knew her and didn't know us. Let that sink in. Service was being offered selectively based on personal familiarity, not policy. This was openly stated, not implied. What made it even more absurd is that she quickly realized she looked foolish when it became clear we all knew each other. Her entire justification unraveled in real time, yet instead of correcting herself or de-escalating, she doubled down on the hostility. At one point she said, "Do you know who I am? My uncle is the owner." That statement made the situation feel less like customer service and more like a power trip backed by nepotism. It explained a lot. To be absolutely clear: we did not ask for drinks, we did not raise our voices, we did not argue, and we did not refuse to leave. I work in the service industry and understand last call etiquette very well. If last call had passed, that could have been communicated calmly and professionally in seconds. That is not what happened here. Instead, without cause or warning, Chryl called the police on us. There was no disturbance. No threat. No refusal to comply. The escalation was extreme, unnecessary, and honestly frightening. Using law enforcement as an intimidation tactic against calm, compliant guests is unacceptable. The way we were treated felt targeted, biased, and discriminatory. The hostility was immediate, the rules changed depending on who she "knew," and the escalation was completely disproportionate. Whether intentional or not, the behavior came across as deeply unfair and unsettling. Learning afterward that she is related to the owner makes this even more concerning. It raises serious questions about accountability and whether this behavior is tolerated or protected. Being pregnant or related to ownership does not excuse abusing authority, selectively serving customers, or involving the police without cause. No one should ever feel unsafe, humiliated, or threatened for simply entering a business during operating hours. This was not a misunderstanding. It was a complete breakdown of professionalism, judgment, and leadership. I will never return, and I strongly encourage others to think twice before supporting an establishment where posted hours, basic hospitality, and equal treatment clearly do not apply. read more

Come here all the time for food and drinks and on different occasions I've been overcharged by the bartenders. When speaking up they team together and act clueless. Well today I came here for food and drink. As I do often but this day Sheryl the bartender over charged me for my order. When tried to get her attention she kept facing the register as if she was typing in an order....( only five people at the bar). Luckily another customer got her attention for me and when I asked for my receipt she asked me what I wanted repeatedly as if she wasn't comprehending what I was saying. Once she printed the receipt she slammed it down in front of me. This place definitely has some racist bartenders. Very nice nasty. read more

A great Country bar that has everything you could want including billiards, darts, and a jukebox.

Always a great time at Kats. I always have the best time seeing everyone and feeling so welcomed.

I ordered wings there once and they were too well done (crispy and dry). Explanation was that they were training a new cook. I've gone back a couple of times in the afternoon and the bartender (Cheryl) was very unfriendly and she seemed aggravated both times. It's close, so I did go back at another time later in the evening and the service was very good. The waitstaff was very courteous and friendly. The ambiance was wonderful! read more

Went here for a girl's night out with my book club to do karaoke. Had a blast! The bar tender was great!

Love Kat daddy's. They've got a great burger. So good! Kirsten, the bartender was awesome. There was a lady running around being mean to people- Roxanne I think, but otherwise it was great. Good value and nice vibe. Go and enjoy. read more

Decent neighborhood bar, many bar games (billiards/darts/etc), smoking is allowed inside, karaoke on Thursday nights, service is ok...definitely friendly though. If you live in the area this is a good place to go but I wouldn't go too far out of your way just to stop in here. It's exactly what you'd expect of a suburban sports bar which is perfect cause you know you'll have a good time if you like those types of places. If I could rate this place negative stars I would. I've never been more disrespected by a person in my entire life. I traveled here from out of town and was immediately greeted by kat, the rudest bartender I've ever met. We were outed from the start because she's "never seen us before". I was then there for 3 hours until kat decided it was enough for her after serving her "boy friend" free drinks all night, and proceeded to kick me and my group out and threaten me in the parking lot to fight me with her pocket knife... don't go here if you don't want to be discriminated against because men at the bar look at you, and take the attention away from crop top wearing kat. read more

Came here for my Best Friends Birthday tonight...the DJ shut down and said its time to get out at 1:39, 20 MINUTES before the bar closes! ANDDDD then the blonde bartender with glasses went around YELLING at everyone that its time "to get out" at 1:55!! Ummmm excuse me NO! I still have 20 minutes to finish my drink because you can't "kick me out" till 2:15! I work at clubs.. you call last call 15 minutes before close and you DO NOT push your PAYING customers out till it is absolutely last call to kick them out. If you don't want to be there till 3 am closing then you either A) need to find another job, or B) start cleaning earlier so you can get out of there at 2:30. But the bar DOESN'T EVEN CLOSE TILL 2! Definitely put us all in a very bitchy mood at the end of a GOOD night! read more

This place is like "Cheers," everybody knows your name, and if you're new they accept you with open arms. Prices are great, staff is great and I'm excited they started serving food. Try the chopped beef sandwich (only $6 bucks and comes with fries!). They do karaoke on Tuesday and Thursday and my only qualm is the DJ always plays the music way too loud, to the point that you have to literally scream to have a conversation with the person next to you. Don't get me wrong, he is a very talented DJ with great taste in music but turn the music down a little buddy. This is a bar first. Ok, so keep this in mind. I understand that this is a dive bar with a dive bar crowd and dive bartenders. I went to this establishment and ordered a few drinks with friends and paid for them with my debit card. We stayed and ordered another round. When it came time to leave my friends left to go meet up at another spot.so I asked for the second bill which was brought to me. I slid my debt card that I had previously used to the bartender she picked it up and walked away. A few minutes had passed when she walked over and asked if I was ready to pay. I was polite and told her I had already handed my card to her. She left for a moment and told me she didn't have it. I told her my full name that was on the card and described it to her as a green Woodforest card. She told me that she clearly remembers it being blue. I knew at this point with the way she was acting towards me that she didn't believe me or that she thought I may have had to many to drink and thought I may have put it in my outfit somewhere other than my wallet. I didn't have it in any of my pockets or around me and I clearly remember giving it to the bartender. Either way I understand her frame of thought on this considering she works at a dive bar and must have to deal with cheap people on a regular basis, because you see I have been in the restaurant/ bar industry for over a decade and deal with transaction payments multiple times a day and have dealt with this scenario many times before. The only difference is those people always did end up finding their cards because they did put them in a pocket that wasn't their wallet. Regardless of the matter, I do remember giving her my card. Because my card is gone I had to get another with a different number to be on the safe side. The real take away her if you are reading this bartender lady. I gave you my card and I understand where you are coming from, but I still blame you for your Incompetence and your lack of awareness plus I will not return to this establishment because of this frustrating experience. read more

This is the most personable and friendly places that I've been to in a long time. The owner's are super nice and the staff are knowledgeable and patron aware meaning they know their customers. Food is excellent and I advise people to go there. read more

One of the most unsanitary places I've been in a long time. I spent 5 minutes inside the bar and it stunk like to high heaven. That place needs to be on bar rescue immediately. I can't say how disgusting and horrid that place is. read more

this place is okay if you like live music and/or watching football on the TV above the bar. Much more than that would require visiting a different place. Smoking is allowed so it stinks like stale smoke all of the time. The crowd is older but that's okay. read more

Pretty awesome little bar. Three pool tables. Nice staff for the most part. Karaoke nights on Tuesday and Thursday. Thursday is busier but the KJ sucks for that night. It's all about Tuesday if you enjoy singing and a good time. read more

We were invited up here by a friend of ours on Sunday 2-21-2016 for a crawfish boil benefit. I have to say that me and my husband and our friends all enjoyed ourselves. The staff was really nice and fast. They had a live up and coming country singer there that was so AWESOME!! I will definitely be coming back to this bar!! read more

This place has the worse Karaoke singers ever! I had to leave my ears were hurting! It is also very smokey inside and you leave stinking like an ashtray. Bartenders aren't the friendliest mostly family run I think. But what really got me was they charge $.50 for coke added to your mixed drink! Who ever heard of being charged extra for whatever you mix your liquor with? Drink prices are already high for this kind of place. read more

Beer is expensive here. $4.75 for a 10oz draft!??? Yes a small 10 ounce draft. They do have have pool tables and darts. Not a bad place just expensive for what you are paying for. read more
