I also explained to my stylist that I'm currently recovering from major surgery and was only four days post-op, which is why I came in for the service since I'm unable to wash my hair myself right now. My stylist was very sweet, but the service itself felt rough during the wash and blow-dry. When the blowout was finished, I was honestly shocked at how underwhelming the result was. There was barely any curl, very little volume, and my hair was frizzy and poofy rather than smooth and polished. It looked nothing like the style I requested or what I've received at Drybar in the past. Because I was already feeling lightheaded and exhausted from surgery recovery, I didn't have the energy to address it in the salon and decided to just go home. However, I called the salon shortly after leaving to explain the situation. Unfortunately, the conversation with the manager, Bailey, made the experience even worse. She immediately came across as defensive and cold rather than empathetic. She told me she would call me back before the end of the day, but I never received a call. During the conversation she questioned why I hadn't said something while I was still there so another stylist could fix it, which felt dismissive given the circumstances I had already explained. I understand that things don't always go perfectly with services, but the way concerns are handled makes all the difference. The lack of empathy and follow-through left me feeling uncomfortable and disappointed enough that I will not be returning.

The menu of service depict ALL color services are wrapped into hefty price tag and then you get slammed at cash register when you leave and given some poor excuse about the service. Receptionist then tacks on credit card fees at 4%. when you call to ask they wont answer phone and act like oh well. needless to say the work is sub par. Hello Melissa Your facts are incorrect . I have attached the invoice and no where is anything broken down . Furthermore you offered no remedy just a bunch of word salad trying to justify your pricing when the website is crystal clear on what is included in your package . So please don't try and make it sound as if you are a caring owner .. cause that is far from the truth . You grossly overcharge and the proper remedy would have been to honor the blonding session package at the price on the website and returned the additional amount of money that you charged. To charge your client 4% cc charge is outrageous . That is a cost that is on a business owner not to pass along to you clients just another way for you to be piggish . Regards

That was not communicated to her and they charged her the full $300. Then - she gave a $200 tip. If a teenager comes in alone and gives an excessive tip, you should speak up. I called to see if they could refund a portion and they refused. Lesson learned for my kid but do better. I have given excessive tips before on purpose and people always question it and I insist. Nothing was done here. So my daughter now has a partial highlight for $500. Go elsewhere.
