I left Susan a very honest review of my last experience, which gave her one star. She gave me a…read morecompletely different hair color/profile and refused to fix it. Susan not only threatened to blacklist me from every hairdresser in our community but told me she had reached out to every other stylist in our community to say what an impossible customer I am. Who does that?! She also threatened to sue me for defamation because I asked her to fix the color she gave me which is a completely different color profile than what we discussed. I still tipped her 20% as I always do, because I'm a good person and I believe in tipping well. She insists that I requested a completely different color profile and that 4 salons in our community have refused me service which is libel and not true. ( in her comment below.) I love my hair in my profile pic here and that has always been my goal. I saw the same hairdresser in Seattle for 10 years. She was fantastic and since moving here, I have had some bad experiences with colorists making me blonde. That salon also has a lot of 1 star reviews. After seeing my 1 star review, Susan proceeded to insult, bully, and spew a negative narrative of me, her 3 time customer. Hairdressers can not get away with this. I don't know a single person that has been happy with every single stylist they've ever seen. But after all of the bullying and threatening messages and sharing personal info here I discussed with her during our sessions, I decided to take it down, which is the only way I could take down her spiteful lies in her responses. So... after a few days and sleepless nights of being so upset with her lies and defamation and behavior attacking my age, character, and anything else she could think of, and actually bullying me into submission, I've had enough! SO I am posting this. I will take the fall for whatever new bullying/blacklisting/insulting messages I'm sure will follow in PM's. People need to know what they are signing up for when they hire and trust this woman with their hair. One screw up on her part, one less than positive review, and you will probably be going through the horror I am right now. The first two times she did a decent job. I posted a positive review on her website. The third time was a major disaster. I never asked for a nearly black base color with chunky platinum highlights. We discussed the same - medium golden/chestnut brownbase with fine honey highlights and a few slightly thicker, lighter pieces around my face. - like my pictures. Please see attached pics for what I showed her and what I got. And she came AFTER ME for her failure. Her behavior toward me has been vindictive, beyond unprofessional, a bully, and most of all, a crappy, mean- spirited person and stylist that can not only NOT see her mistakes, but blames the client for them. Hire at your own risk.

She walked me through each step of the process, checked in to make sure I was comfortable, and even offered water and snacks since I was in her chair for a while. Three employees were sitting down chatting away while I waited for my appt. I went because i wanted to cut my hair into a long bob but my consultation specialist looked at my hair and said my hair was fried. There was nothing he could do, I was so confused. I said, I'm not here to dye my hair. I'm here for a haircut. He said, I know. You need keratin and once your hair gets healthy I could try.
