Three employees were sitting down chatting away while I waited for my appt. I went because i wanted to cut my hair into a long bob but my consultation specialist looked at my hair and said my hair was fried. There was nothing he could do, I was so confused. I said, I'm not here to dye my hair. I'm here for a haircut. He said, I know. You need keratin and once your hair gets healthy I could try. Out of curiosity I asked, if I get my hair back to "healthy " again. I asked who he would recommend and he said nobody here. I was shocked and to be honest, I was so over the consultation that I awkwardly laughed and promised him I'd be back. He could honestly care less. I wasn't too irritated because it smelled like hard boiled eggs or broccoli in there. Not to mention, The older woman at the front desk was hella grumpy as well. My third time was for a trim and a few weeks after my second appointment. I was hoping to recut my bangs how i asked for initially. I showed her my picture again! this time she cut my side burns and my bangs looked rough. she was even more rushed with this service (i think everyone else was at lunch.) she put product in my hair and said that i was not supposed to dry it. i left with hair that soaked my shirt. The girl also made comments like "im the fastest here now" it was pretty off putting. i was just so in love with my hair that i was hoping to get the same results and kept going back. the same day I reached out to tell them about what happened, I never received any communication back. I had surgery and the incision went into the base of my hair line at the back of my neck. The surgeon cut out a chunk in the middle of the back of my head and Jeni blended everything and made it look really intentional. I understand things come up and Brianna is young but she refused to refund anything and had me pay through Venmo instead of Gigsalad where I found her services. When I contacted the company they were quick to refund me the money but found out she had me pay through an outside source so their hands were tied and couldn't do anything. My wedding was March 2nd and I'm still upset by all of this. Yes, we changed the date on short notice due to my cancer but she never stated it was an issue or any stipulations. I wish it worked out because she did a great job and was super sweet but completely mishandled my service. I could have just had bad luck and it's not common so be careful. Be sure you pay her through the company you find her and tip after the services.
