I wouldn't have even thought to do the lymphatic massage after giving birth, but the therapist I worked with highly recommended it, and I'm so glad she did. The lymphatic massage greatly reduced the swelling and extra fluids in my body. Most recently I had a deep tissue massage with Alexa. After about 10 minutes I could tell that Alexa has a magic touch. I could feel the care in her hands, and to me that is a sign of a great therapist. Her pressure was perfect, and I didn't want it to end. I have had massage and body work for over 20 years and Alexa's massage was one of the best ever! The only thing I don't care for in the spa is the blue lighting, but you can request to change the color to whatever you prefer.

The esthetician, Natalie, was not gentle and seemed very upset when I needed to take breaks. She just kept going and telling me to hold my skin. Out of annoyance, she asked me several times if I wanted to continue (rolling her eyes). I understand that waxing is difficult but I think with it being a vulnerable experience (everything out in the open), it could've been handled with more caution. I was in pain the ENTIRE time, to the point of crying. The esthetician did not show any concern for the pain I was in. Even the way she sprinkled the powder was aggressive. I hope accountability is taken and reviewed. Overall, I don't see myself coming back here due to my experience. I hope to try sugaring at a place with more care and kindness.
