I had extremely damaged, uneven bleached and box dyed over hair and somehow Angie was still able to even out my hair, give me more highlights, lighten it, and on top of still having healthy feeling hair as I left her salon. Before booking, we were quoted $170 online. When we arrived, that same price was confirmed again in person, so we felt comfortable moving forward. To our surprise, after the service was completed, we were charged $350--more than double the quoted price. At no point during the appointment were we told the price had changed or given the opportunity to approve the additional cost before the work continued. If the final price was going to be significantly higher, that should have been communicated upfront so we could make an informed decision. Transparent pricing is especially important when working with young clients who have saved their own money. I'm sharing this experience so other parents know to ask for the final total in writing before the service begins and to confirm that the quoted price will not change without their approval. Unfortunately, our experience left us feeling disappointed and blindsided.

Susie has been coloring my hair since I was about 22 years old (about 15 years). I wanted a natural look, not too bright, not to chunky just an easy sun kissed look. Susie has been recreating this color for me every time I go to her, tricking people in believing that I have had this beautiful sun kissed brown hair for the last 15 years! My friends go to her, my sister goes to her and I would recommend her to anyone who asked! I even find myself telling people (who need a little bit of advice in the hair department ) about her in the hopes they'll ask me for her number! I have been known to book an appointment, cancel, rebook and she never makes me feel bad. I have been to other stylists throughout the years (peer pressure ) and they have NEVER been able to recreate that natural sun kissed look that Susie can. I once had a stylist tell me that it was going to take several times to get my hair that golden brown color because the lifting of the color would take several appointments. Nope!
