Jane has worked on my hair a couple times and although she is very nice my hair has always come out very brazzy and orange. This last session I went in a couple times and paid around 700 altogether and my hair is still nowhere near where I wanted. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and wanted to give her another shot in fixing my hair and I am very disappointed because I recently contacted her again to do roots and try to lighten my hair again and my txt have been ignored three times. Because of this had to go with someone else who had to do a color correction and was able to get it done the first time. I love Jane!!! I have been seeing her about 5-6 years as she was recommended by my sister(who just so happens to still be a client) whose co- worker recommended her. Long story short, she has been my confidante and guide through my hair journey. I started out with just haircuts and gray coverage for my dark brown hair. Over time, and after admiring her work with other clients, I became curious and interested in highlights and balyage but afraid to make that leap. We talked about it every 4-6 weeks when I would go for my gray coverage. Then, about 2-3 years ago, after contemplating this big step for me, I finally went for it and got highlights. She listened to what I wanted to achieve, and I loved it! I felt youthful, fun, stylish, beautiful, and fast forward about a year or so kept it going to balyage. Jane April is AWESOME I hadn't gotten a haircut in about 19 months. I had some really bad dead ends but wanted to keep my hair long. She was professional, the shop was nice and clean, ample parking and she was on time. She was tedious with my dry cut and removing my dead ends! Her attention to detail was crazy. She was also very gentle. The quality of the shampoo and conditioner smelt so yummy I almost fell asleep. She gave me a kick ass blow out and I left with silky refreshed hair! Reasonably priced, and does a good job with cuts. However, she has been 15 minutes late to every single appointment. To the point where it's just inconsiderate of the clients time. I can understand every once in awhile, but every single time is just rude. You also have to text multiple times to book an appointment and are lucky to get a response in a weeks time. Let me tell you about this girl who I happen to stumble upon in a salon. I first asked for a quote for my hair to go from my natural color brown to a blonde and to a gray. She was very reasonable nice and sweet. She gives wonderful HEAD MASSAGES and I had a lot of fun spending the whole day with her. The cool thing is she's very professional and does all her appointments and books them for you online and you get reminders in your email and text message. The first time I had color so I get it was hard to lift, but after going back all I wanted was to go lighter on the part that had already lightened up and then redo the front to the roots to give it a fresh look. Upon entering Jane's salon you can automatically tell Jane April is stylish. Her hair was bright blue and she wore black and she's very friendly. She greeted me with upmost care and inquired what I was looking to get done. I told her I wanted to touch up my roots and to get rid of the silver I had done to myself and hopefully make my blondes "blonder". In addition to my silver hair I had an ombre pink going down the ends of my hair. I needed her to fix it ASAP cause I wasn't vibing with my hair anymore. She gave me the look of confidence and asked me to sit in her chair station. She took my dirty hair and worked with it. It took about four hours to bleach, tone, wash, and cut.
