Wow, I am extremely disappointed with the service at this location. When I initially called, I was told I could be seen at 11:45 AM. I mentioned upfront that I had extensions, and later they said they wouldn't have time and rescheduled me to 1:15 PM. When I called again to confirm, just minutes before my appointment, they tried to push me back again to 2:45 PM. After I said that was too late, they offered 1:45 PM instead. I arrived at 1:50 PM, and at that point they told me I could no longer receive the service because I was "late." This was extremely frustrating considering they had already tried to reschedule me twice and were running behind themselves. The stylist and front desk staff seemed visibly annoyed when I brought this up and shifted the blame onto me, saying my timing would disrupt their schedule. As someone who also works in the service industry, this is not how you treat clients--especially when the inconvenience was caused on your end. I purchased a membership for the convenience, but unfortunately the experience hasn't been consistent. Either I'm unable to get an appointment when I need one, or I'm able to book but then get told the service can't be done on time. Most of the time I'm booking because of a last-minute event or need, so timing really matters. I had never been to a Drybar in my life but my own hairstylist recommended I give this place a try since she wasn't available today and the beauty of coming to the Drybar is the fact that they are open 7 days a week!!! I was greeted with a mimosa while I was waiting for my turn and then Tiffany handed me the book and asked me what hair style I wanted and what the occasion was... She was great and fun!! I loved the experience of just having my hair washed and then styled... They have several locations but I will be returning to this location since I really liked the way Tiffany styled my hair and everything!!! I went in to get my hair done for a wedding and requested the loose curls . i booked a dry style and it usually takes about 30 minutes at the other location but this time it took an hour. The hair dresser continually kept stopping the appointment to take calls and stepping away. when she was doing my hair was rushing and pulling roughly. When she was finished my hair smelt terrible, and it was so dry. She styled it with big ringlet curls that I didnt ask for. I tried to make it work by adding some oil when I got home, but it looked so terrible. I had to just wash it and freestyle it myself. I have very curly hair in the process takes a long time which is why I always use dry bar. I'm so disappointed and will no longer be coming to this location. read more

On December 27 I went to Drybar Eastvale. I had a thorough consultation prior to getting my hair washed and what I expected from the service. My stylist Kimberly was a total gem. I loved the aesthetics of the place. It's a genius idea. I have really frizzy hair and it usually doesn't last frizz-free. My hair looked beautiful, soft and frizz-free for the rest of the day. I wish I could provide pictures, but I'm not the type to take pictures, so I totally forgot. But I became a member so maybe next time I'll include a picture. The customer service at this location is superb I made an appointment for 12:45pm but somehow their system picked it up at 12pm I was unable to make it on time. After some back and forth they went completely out of their way to schedule at a different time and allowed my friend and her daughter to take the spot meant for me to avoid wasting a credit or charging me a cancellation fee. They did an amazing job on both of them and I am extremely impressed and grateful for their customer service manager and their ability to coordinate everything. While I realize that this might be important to the store, it's extremely unprofessional to discuss these things in front of customers. I had an appointment 12/18 at 3pm and came in wanting a hair style with a lot of volume and movement (I will insert my inspiration picture that I showed the hair stylist). I actually showed this exact picture to the previous hair stylist I had a couple months ago and she nailed it. It took this hair stylist about 40 minutes to complete my hair and what I was left with I was so upset and disappointed. Well, against my better judgment, I decided to give this dry bar franchise another try. Whatever business model/training these people get that start these businesses is so far from professional it's concerning. They clearly don't know how to run their franchise businesses. This is the second time and absolute last time I will ever visit a Dry bar location again. The first time I visited one I did not have a good experience, it was at a different location. So against my better judgment, I decided hey maybe I will give this new dry bar a chance nine years later and they just opened, so they should be a lot better. Even after reading all of their terrible reviews. I should have known better. Before booking this appointment, because of my previous experience, I was sure to call this location and speak to the store manager. I let her know about my past experience and kind of the concerns that I had and issues that occurred at the last appointment. She was very kind and even extended a discount because of my experience from the last time which she did not need to do but it did encourage me to continue with booking my appointment. I was impressed that she took the time to speak to me and extend a discount it did motivate me further to make my appointment. She also made me feel better when she said she'd make sure a senior stylist took care of me for my appointment. Fast-forward to the day of my appointment. I walked in got checked in and the stylist started working on my hair. I initially scheduled having my hair washed and styled but my stylist suggested my hair would hold better if we did not do a wash because I wanted curls. I listened because well she's the stylist and I didn't mind. She went ahead and styled my hair, I added on a braid and the experience was overall fine. The stylist I got was great, she was personable and pleasant to speak to. I was done and went up to the register to check out. That's where the issue began as the girl who was checking me out said there was no discount, she said there were notes but no accommodation and no discount. I explained I spoke to the store manager and she was kind enough to extend a discount and if they could give her a call. The store manager was called and I was told that because I didn't get the wash there couldn't be a discount applied. I was upset because if I had known that I would've gotten the wash. Instead of the customer being right they chose to argue with me and say I was told nothing could be done because that was at another location and that the manager explained that, etc. The way the situation was handled was unprofessional. I understand that she did not need to give me a discount but it was one of the reasons I visited again against my better judgement. I'm not sure if times have changed but I don't agree with arguing with a client over a $5 discount. As a franchise owner I'd want to make sure all of my paying customers returned. And that they had a good experience so that they could share with others. Overall, the Drybar franchise sucks. I wasn't impressed with my hair. It was definitely something I could have done at home, nothing special at all. The girls there were mostly snobby and unwelcoming. Whoever was running the front desk had a stink face and looked pissed off. The blonde with holes in her pants as well, arguing with a client over a discount is unprofessional and not cute. I left so upset I didn't tip the stylist which I was bummed about because she was great, very friendly and personable, not stuck up at all. My hair wasn't the greatest and definitely not worth what I paid for but she was the only one who made the experience actually enjoyable. read more

I cancelled my membership and was told "someone" would reach out (I'm assuming the franchise owner), and no one did. I just checked my bank statements and sure enough, I was charged for my membership despite cancelling weeks ago. I knew this was going to be an issue considering the other issues I've experienced. I've been charged incorrectly 3 times now. I should not and will not be inconvenienced with calling and speaking to the owner to chase a refund down. She totally rushed my visit I was in & out in under 45 min & that's including a hair wash & blow dry & style. She wasn't very conversational & the other stylist that would take their clients to the back to wash their hair spent way more time washing their clients hair. People that had got there before me were still having their hair washed meanwhile my stylist was done & we got there to the hair wash station later.
