Now that the stores are open, the in person experience is a bit different. I had to return/exchange some shoes I purchased online. This was my second visit to this store. The "Fellow Shoe Lover" that assisted me on 5/17/2020 was very helpful and nice. I forgot her name and it's not on my receipt. The store clerks wore face masks and I believe customers are required to wear them as well. The store is only accepting credit cards as a form of payment. Due to Covid-19 safety measures were put in place. If you donate shoes you have to put them in a plastic bag (provided by DSW) and DSW will disinfect them. You can no longer try on shoes in the back of the store or in the different shoe aisles. You are required to sit in front of the store and try on the shoes. If you decide not to purchase the shoe you must put the shoe on the table and DSW will disinfect them before putting them back on the shelf. I noticed signs on the entry way of the clearance aisles that requires customers to exit /enter the aisle a certain way to ensure social distancing.
