The receptionist asked which clinic I would like to be transferred to. I told her I wasn't sure, as I wasn't a patient yet and just needed to know first if my insurance was accepted. I had no idea by the listing that this was a multi site facility. She barked back, "Well, I have 10 clinics and I need to know which one you want to be transferred to," and proceeded to rapidly rattle off locations - I couldn't understand her or get a word in edgewise. I asked her to "HANG ON!" no less than 5 times - just so I could take the phone away from my ear and look at the address for the location I thought I was calling. She was extremely hostile. At that point I said "You know what? Forget it. Your phone etiquette..." click! She hung up on me! I called back. The phone rang 9 times before she answered. She rattled off her intro and I said "I just want to know your NAME." She said "Excuse me?" I said "Your name. What is your name?" She replied "Brenda at the switchboard." Whoever manages "Brenda at the switchboard" should know she SHOULD NOT be the first point of contact for these office(s). Her phone manner is rude and condescending. I'm sick. I'm looking for a doctor. And my encounter with "Brenda on the switchboard" was not what I needed, but enough for me to look for a different clinic. If this is how an initial phone call is handled, I'm afraid to let anyone there touch me!

I want to start by saying I have no complaints about Dr. Yoo. He was extremely informative,…read morepatient, and gentle with my toddler, and I truly appreciate his care. However, I am very concerned about the lack of responsiveness from the office staff. For nearly two weeks, I have been trying to schedule my daughter's surgery. I have left multiple messages for Lisa, the Office Manager who coordinates surgeries, but have received no return calls. When I finally reached her on 12/10/2025, she confirmed that preauthorization was complete and said she would check availability with the surgery center and call me back. Unfortunately, she never followed up. Since then, I have continued calling and leaving messages without any response. To provide context, here are the dates I've called: 12/04/2025 12/08/2025 Twice on 12/10/2025 Three times today, 12/12/2025 This level of communication is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable, especially given the importance of timely scheduling for my child's care. Please advise on how this can be resolved immediately.

I'm relatively young so it's nice having someone actually explain why I'm experiencing what I do instead of gaslighting me or attributing everything to anxiety. And he's not afraid to tell the truth of your condition which I appreciate. Yes, the office can run behind some days but that's the unfortunate reality of working in a doctors office. I absolutely recommend Dr. Yoo as your ENT. (Houston ent the company itself can frustrate me if I have to call in and make an appointment. I much prefer the nurses in the office over the Houston ent generic line, but that's almost all major health groups at this point.)

I went to three different doctors for my problem,…read more (recurring tonsillitis) The previous doctors prescribed me stuff that didn't work and didn't really know what was going on, also they didn't seem very thorough. I was finally referred to this place: first off, the staff was amazing and friendly. Shauna is funny, caring, and very smart. She made me feel hopeful and when I told her I was afraid of needles she even put a topical numbing cream on my arm before I went to get my blood taken. They never gave up. I was almost in tears because I was so tired of constantly being sick. So, after extensive testing, I decided to get my tonsils removed. Each episode of illness I had they got me in and treated right away. The steroid shot they give is incredible. It makes me feel better within 24 hours. But it wasn't a solution, when they suggested surgery I was pretty nervous... I knew it was coming to that (I was getting sick every month and we tried every antibiotic we could. Including long-term ones. And on my own time I even tried apple cider vinegar shots with honey... nothing helped) Now, at the age of 25 a tonsillectomy isn't a picnic. It was Probably one of the most painful recoveries I've had from any surgery. But I was after doing some research I was expecting that. Dr. Miller was the one to perform my Surgery and she made me so comfortable. They called and checked on me and made sure my recovery was as good as possible, I even got another steroid shot when swallowing became an issue. It worked wonders. I would gladly suffer through 10 days of painful recovery for a lifetime free of strep. Thank you to everyone there that helped me through this. You guys all rock
