By appointment only! No same day appoints available. Call their regular number and they give you a phone number to text. They respond very fast! Fast forward to my appointment day. They have a sign on the door that says appointments only. There is hand sanitizer and alcohol sprays everywhere. After every person gets up, they sanitize the equipment with wipes. I went in asking for a soak off for my acrylic nails. They said not a problem and sat me down immediately. She starts clipping them off and then takes a sharp piece of plastic and starts scraping under the acrylic, if it wasn't easy to separate she would dig her nail into mine and try to separate the two. She asks me how often I get my nails done and I tell her pretty often I just took a break but I'm gonna start getting them done regularly again. She then says we'll people who get there nails done often know how to take off their nails and I respond with yea I know how but I just don't have the supplies or time right now and she looks at me and says again well yea but people who get their nails done often know how to take them off. I stop her and tell her it's ok I'll pay for this but we're done. She asks me why I won't let her finish and I proceed to tell her that's rude and she says no it's not. 0/10 . read more

Kathy has always been rude as hell. Prices are never consistent. I go in every few months to get my brows done & never my nails because they don't ever come out great. So I walk in, say eyebrows & she tells me 30 minutes. It's only been 30 minutes after they opened & there is 2 people in there!! Don't waste your time or money here. read more

The worst experience! Do not go here! I'm not one who gets pampered often since I don't get out much with little ones, so I figured it was time to take care of myself and treat me (and my sister who was visiting out of town) for pedis. Something that should have been nice and relaxing turned out to be not quite that. I even paid extra to get the calis remover done, BIG mistake they shredded our feet and sprayed alcohol on it. The paint was clumpy and UNeven. As soon as we left I noticed BLOOD ALL OVER MY FEET!!!! No stars for this place! (I only had to give this a star to even post this so disregard it) read more

Kathy usually does her best to take great care of me and my nails. The other two techs I have spoken with when being helped by Kathy also seem very nice. Can get busy. I have had one or two unfortunate mishaps here from other techs filing too much and making my cuticles hurt. Overall though I can't complain. It's usually very quick in here once you are seated. I've since moved on to greener pastures where my nails don't hurt! read more

I'm here every month to get my gel nail polish. Total for gel is $25 and that includes removal of old gel and application of new ones. I always tip $10 so I spend $35 every trip, but not bad once a month. I gave it four stars because the nail techs sometimes talk to each other and I can never figure out if they're talking about me or not lol. Overall, they're nice and I will continue to see them for my nails. They also offer waxing on different parts of the body, but I haven't experienced that so next time maybe I'll try that service and update my review. read more

Not a good place to get your nails or toes done. The wait times are too long and they rush you. I was not impressed with the work they did. They also do not sterilize their tools properly. Everything is labeled "soiled" but they will use the same tools on the next customer without properly cleaning or sterilization and then put them back in the same used container and continue to use them. I am sure they are cleaned once a day but not after each customer. It's gross, unsanitary and overly priced for a half-assed job. I would not be surprised if they all shared the same license. The health department should check in. read more

I've been coming to this location for a little over 5 years and have never had a bad set or interaction with any of the nail techs here. I get acrylics, gel, pedicures and eyebrow wax and they never disappoint. Kathy and her sister are amazing, friendly and super good at what they do. I first came to this location about a week ago. The minute I walked in I was approached by two women told them what I wanted and was taken to a booth immediately, to my surprise a man came and did my nails (didn't get his name) he was very laid back and kind of funny. Easter was the next day and I had some stuff to take care of on my phone, so I figured since I told him how I wanted the shape I was in good hands talked to him here and there, but when he put the gel on and had me put my hands in the UV lamp I noticed some of my nails were different lengths and the shapes on certain fingers were crooked, not rounded like I asked. He was already done so I couldn't say anything *shrugs* I can take the blame for not keeping an eye on him but he should've known better not to take advantage. Nice people and cool customers, but fat chance I'll be coming back. read more

I stopped at this salon on my way home for a simple pedicure with callus removal. The lady that did my feet made me bleed! She put way too much of the callus removal on my entire foot instead of just my heel which they normally do. Needless to say after her putting a band aid on and saying sorry, she still charged me full price! I have 6 band aids on my feet today and I can barely walk because she took off too much skin. Be aware if you are going for a pedicure, I will never go here again! read more

I'm surprised at the negative reviews. Kathy's is the best spot on this side of town...I have seen and heard horror stories at other places. Kathy's has always been great for me. My pedicure is still holding up 3 weeks later! Never a long wait time except Saturdays (duh). The only complaint is that they need to clearly display prices. Anytime I have guest in town I take them here for a girls pampering day bc I know we will get great service and leave with beautiful nails. I came in on a Tuesday afternoon and it was easy to get a spot for a pedicure. Got a great foot/leg message with the pedi and walked out with a simple polish for $18 not including tip. I had read the reviews here and didn't see any of the issues that some other folks had put up. It looked clean to me - and people who worked there were friendly. read more
