My wife had the worst experience ever. She has her long nails without tips and acrylic nails. She had a problem with one nail which needed gel build up. Linda greeted her looked at her nails and sat her down with an older person. Her nails turned out all crooked and ugly. Looked like the tech didn't know how to use gel build up or how to shape nails. Not only is she incredibly nice and accommodating~ she's absolutely skilled and a master at her craft. Tina jumped in to help polish, and Vincent, my favorite tech, created a design for 'my talons'. He took a simple picture of a Christmas bow and created a sparkling nail art with the help of Tina's purple gem. I can't speak enough about this shop. I was in Phx visiting my mom from NC and we always get pedis when we are together so we went here. Let me tell you .... best pedi ever! When I tell you the lady cleanT my big toe that was gunked up with something under the nail and other places I go to barely scrape it. I had calluses under my feet, she got them out. I didn't see the color I wanted on the shelf but she found me the perfect orange. I should have asked her name but she was wearing glasses. She painted my nails very neatly as well. I love my toes!!! Wish i could give 0 stars. The person who did my nails was rushing and i left with a sloppy mess because i was over it. First she argued with me because she said she could only do the design square instead of coffin. I kept showing the picture for reference, and she kept telling me it was square when it was clearly coffin. I didn't feel like doing back and forth so i just went with the square: Not only is the polish crooked and messy, but the nail itself is crooked and uneven. And she continuously hurt me while drilling my cuticle. 8 would say it hurt and she still kept doing it. I'm not sure how such a simple design could be done so poorly. HORRIBLE. I got a regular pedicure and everything was going okay until she started digging out the cuticles on my big toes. I just had a pedicure a little over a month ago, so there shouldn't have been any reason to dig into my toes the way she was. She was very aware that it was hurting me because she kept asking "is it hurting?" whenever I would jerk my foot back. I would say yes, and she would continue digging. I have never had so much pain during and after a pedicure than the one I got here. It is now the next day I have noticed that there is a little bit of pus on my right big toe. I'm just really hoping it's not infected. All in all, take your money elsewhere. Your toes and your wallet will thank you. read more

I always ask people how they are doing or how's there day going the the male the young male that had a Bluetooth and earring in his ear.Was beyond rude soon as I say down I said hello he said what do you want in a rude voice . This is was my first time getting a mani and pedi at this place. I have to say that i was very happy and pleased. Mr. Veen did my pedicure. He was very gentle, took his time. He used hot stones to massage my legs and feet. And the sugar orange scrub was wonderful. And Judy did my manicure. The salon was busy and full of customers and employees. And none of the employees were talking out loud in their native language. It was reaxing and professional. They had soft jazz playing and have coffee and hot tea available. I am very disappointed with their service now. They used to be friendly and customer service was awesome but now they tend to overbook for appointments. I had an appointment for my sister and I to get pedicures and full sets we waited in the shop for 2 hours and were able to manage to get the full sets and 1 pedicure but my sister never got hers done due to them having her wait for hours. She was told to come back the next day and they would take her immediately and she still waited , eventually ended with her walking out the shop. I came in with my mother to get a pedicure done and we both asked for gel. We got the 23$ pedicure nothing fancy. I've been to this spot before and love it. But not this past visit! The past times I have gone I've gotten gel and it was only a 15$ add on. Well this time the girl was about to do the gel and she writes on her little note pad "75$" and I was like cool ok that's for both of us my mom and I, WRONG! My 23$ pedicure with gel turned into 75$! I told the girl I don't want gel anymore to give me regular color! They are charging 52$! EXTRA for gel! Be aware of their high prices. Do not go here please. I went to Jess for a full set and after a week one of my nails was had excruciating pain and had completely detached from the nail bed. I went to the closest nail salon to my house to have them removed and I had no nail left since my real nail completely came off from a fungus. My other nails were green from the fungus. I had to go to the doctor to get an antibiotic for my nails. It's been a month and it's still not completely gone. The doctor told me it takes 6 weeks to clear up. Disappointed with my visit today. This has been my go to spot for a few years and with my mom asking for recommendation, I decided to invite her with me. I am not one to make appointments for my nails and just drop by whenever I have time. So of course I got the tech that I have in the past requested not do my nails. Last time I made the request, they still had her come do my nails. And not being a picky person, I always try to give her a chance and hope she does a decent job. Again, I was left feeling like I should just start doing my nails at home with the quality received. Second disappointment , in an effort to save time, two techs worked on my moms pedicure and gel manicure simultaneously. Now honestly, I actually appreciate this as I hate sitting for hours in the salon. However, I think this needs to be offered as an option to clients as it can be uncomfortable and awkward to have your nails done in the air and on a pillow sitting on your lap all while getting a pedicure. So when my tech was done with my mediocre manicure , I go sit next to my mom in one of the pedicure chairs (the salon was busy but there was no shortage of pedicure chairs), one of the techs that had done my moms manicure comes over and tells me to "pay now." I was obviously just waiting and hanging out with my mom and she was barely getting her toes painted. So my mom also gets asked to pay before her pedicure is complete and literally a minute after her top coat is put on her toes, the tech immediately put on the sandals on my mom and "helps" her out of the pedicure chair. She was so rushed that she even messed up her polish because it was obviously not even close to being dry.. My recommendation to the salon owner is the following: 1. don't hire mediocre nail techs! They disappoint your customers and it feels uncomfortable to have to ask for any tech in the salon except the bad one. 2. Teach your staff basic customer service. People often get their nails done as a self care practice. Some may want a fast service (like myself) and others would like to actually enjoys sitting in the massage chairs and don't mind sitting there until their polish at least half dries. Still give this place 2 stars but I will be looking for a new salon. I've had one too many disappointing visits at this point. read more

The sole nail salon in Laveen gets a lil love for me. I have gone there a few times. I like to go there because it's their location is convinent. I like their facilities, it's a lot cleaner than some of the other nearby places. I think they're staff is very efficient. My only complaint is that there is a brakedown in communication when it comes to the shape of nail I like, I usually have to go home and file them the way that I want them afterward. But other than that - they're great. I have never had a pedicure here before - I always go in for manicures and full sets. One thing to keep in mind is that they charge a fee for airbrushing. read more
