Yesterday' I scheduled an appointment at 3pm and they were on time! Thank goodness, I have two kiddos who hate waiting. This was going to be their 1st professional haircut at 3 and 7 years old. My 7 year old who is on the spectrum was paired with Dani who was absolutely amazing. They cut his hair with swiftness and precision even while he was fussy and moving a lot. He wasn't enjoying the experience but I expected that. I consoled him the whole way and they cut and buzzed his hair and had so much patience and knowledge on how to work with people on the spectrum. My 3 year old was paired with another lady who did fantastic as well as he was fidgeting around playing with the seat he was in and playing with the toys they have there. When I walked in initially it was kind of a zoo. Kids everywhere, so we took a walk and came back a few minutes later and people cleared out. I can go on and on, but I'll say this, I am fortunate and grateful that there is business that caters to children and children on the spectrum. As a special education teacher, I was impressed most notably with Dani and their knowledge and patience on working with kiddos on the spectrum.
