I really don't want to leave a review like this, but I'm honestly really disappointed. I took my daughter in for her very first haircut, and since I wasn't really sure how walk-ins work for kids' haircuts, I booked a last-minute appointment at a salon specifically for children. I probably should've known from the beginning that it wasn't going to be a great experience because they acted like accommodating the last-minute appointment was an inconvenience, even though there wasn't a single other customer in the salon when we arrived. The salon itself was a lot less impressive than the Yelp photos and reviews made it out to be, but what really bothered me was the haircut itself. My daughter's hair was in a ponytail with quite a bit of gel in it, and the stylist didn't even wash her hair before cutting it. She just sprayed it with water and started cutting. Even the "middle part" she used while cutting her hair was noticeably off. I didn't want to leave a negative review prematurely, so I waited until I washed my daughter's hair myself to make sure I was seeing the haircut accurately. Unfortunately, it looked exactly how I had imagined it would - the cut is very uneven. I'm attaching a photo taken after I washed her hair so you can see how uneven the final cut is, as well as a photo showing the "middle part" that was used when her hair was cut. I'm especially disappointed because this was my daughter's very first haircut, and I really wanted it to be a nice experience. Amazing place for children's hair cuts! I asked for a mullet cut on my 16 month old and Rita did an amazing job! She was patient and understanding of my son moving and just really nice. I am beyond happy that we decided to give this new place a try! My 21 month old is terrified of getting his haircut but our experience here was amazing!!!! Making the appointment was so easy online and I loved how many openings they had. As we arrived we were greeted so kindly by Kasey. She was so sweet and made us feel so welcomed! My son immediately started to cry when we sat him down, but Kasey was being very sweet to him and helping him feel at ease & he was able to calm down. This is my son's new favorite place for hair cuts. So happy to have them in the neighborhood. Very clean and fun. They have a variety of fun chairs for the kids to sit in along with a movie to watch. The haircuts are so fast and perfect. The hair stylist are very welcoming, friendly and great with the kids. Listening exactly to what they want and need to feel comfortable. Got a toddler boys haircut for my 2.5 year old. He immediately loved the energy going in as it was kid oriented. He is terrified of getting his haircut and I knew that going in there. The hairstylist was so knowledgeable about what kind of haircut would go well with his hair type. My boy thrashed around and screamed the entire time as he has sensory issues and I had to hold him down but I can definitely say this is the first hair stylist we went to that actually got through it with us safely and efficiently. Even though we didn't leave with the perfect or cleanest haircut, we can say this was the best haircut and more than we hoped for. The stylist even offered us to come in tomorrow to see if we could clean it up when he calmed down if we wanted.
