Some of the best Ice cream I've ever had!! And the manager truly cares about his business!! My second time going in to get pints, one that was supposed to be Cookie Monster, was banana pudding. He told me to keep it and when I came to get my replacement he even gave me the second pint that I planned to purchase. He took a picture I sent him and used it as a learning tool for his employees. He truly strives to be amazing, and he for sure is! We love it there!! read more

Me and my daughter went in last week for an after school snack. We were greeted with a smile and helpful staff. But the ice cream is overpriced for the amount we received. My daughter found a hair in her chocolate. When I asked the manager about it, I was asked to leave. I was expecting more from what everyone was telling us about it. Happy to see this family-owned and operated business standing strong during the chaos of 2020! Well worth the drive from Spring Hill, TN. We had heard about the fabulous family ice cream recipes and planned our visit as a family outing. We were not disappointed! The Costa family is warm and welcoming. My grandson got to see how the ice cream is made. Banana Pudding and PB & Nutella are delish. As fudge is a family favorite, this was an unexpected bonus. I am partial to the chocolate salted caramel and vanilla praline. Glad we thought to bring the ice chest. Very reasonably priced, delicious ice cream. Many flavors to choose from and they also have glass bottled soda. Yum!

Facility is clean but they keep weird hours. It's hit or miss if they'll be open during typical business hours which is disappointing. They also have no toppings. Not even sprinkles for the kids. It's over priced for what it is. read more

Took a drive to Dickson and saw Katie's Ice Cream. I looked it up and as soon as I saw homemade ice cream and the great reviews I knew we needed to try it. I wasn't sure how many stars to give because before covid-19 I probably would've given 5 stars. Ice cream is great and the place is really cute but I was really surprised to go there today and none of the staff was wearing masks. They were handing cups and spoons to the customers (maybe should wear gloves?) There was no social distancing in the line. As someone who has worked in the food service industry in Nashville for 14 years, I will not be returning to this place. I don't care how good the ice cream is. You ever heard the term like taking candy from a baby, well that's literally what happened today when a small party (10-12 people that took up 4/13 ish tables) for a first birthday party was told no outside food allowed as a baby was eating his first birthday cake ever. The cake was the only outside food, and the rest of the party was buying ice cream at their own pace. I get it, I work in a dang restaurant, no outside food sure, but a piece of cake from a baby's first birthday?? The baby didn't get to finish his first piece of cake ever. That's just hateful. Don't support this place, they don't deserve it. read more

Very good ice cream. I'm a black raspberry nut and while this wasn't the best I've ever had it was downright tasty and creamy on a waffe cone. They have a pint-dispensing machine outside the front door for people who MUST have a fix when the store is closed. Pretty clever. read more

To update my original review. They have a sign posted for nut allergies. I just didn't see it. I'm sure the peanut butter fudge thing was a miscommunication of the fact that I had an allergy vs. Just not wanting whole nuts in a piece of fudge. Yes I was suggested fudge and no I didn't buy any. If you have any food allergies don't eat here as there is no way to cater to allergies. My husband had the ice cream and loved it. I will add 1 star as my husband enjoyed himself. I just couldn't eat anything. read more

I have been to this place many many times because I love ice cream. But the only issue was every time I came in the owner, Tom, was more and more of a jacka#$ every time. He started out very nice and is generally very nice but has recently just been a smart a%# and just has made me want to not frequent this establish This is a later change to my review... I still hold my firm belief in my first review I just wanted to add after consideration, the frosty jugs ice cream is quite a bit better. A friend and I went here a while ago when the place first opened. I got the banana pudding flavor and another flavor that I can't remember, but it was really good! Went for the first time this past Friday night. Great environment, pretty decent size building, and great ice cream. SO many flavors to choose from. The staff was so very, very friendly. THEY are a prime example of customer service. I had the espresso soy Oreo (I think that's what it is called). I just had a regular size cup of it and it was fantastic. I definitely recommend and I'd definitely go back again. Probably more times than I should, this place is great. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed! read more
