Back in 2019, the groom was originally skeptical of hiring a wedding planner, and wasn't terribly well-informed on how a day-of wedding coordinator would really improve our wedding day. In hindsight, the groom has never been more ignorant and flat out wrong in his life, and will never again underestimate the power of a competent and experienced wedding coordinator. Aisha Harris and her assistants, Lorelei and Myisha, were outright incredible. Aisha is organized, diligent, and aware of the situation. We had a very comprehensive vision for our wedding (the Bride is fairly detail-oriented), and she executed on this vision perfectly. Provided with several totes of wedding décor and some sketches, she and her assistants assembled a stunning backdrop for our wedding in a matter of hours. As the venue flipped from ceremony to reception, the tables were decorated in such a seamless fashion that we did not even notice when and how it occurred. The centerpieces, placecards, gift bags, etc. were all set up perfectly and quickly. While all this was going on, she also maintained great communication with vendors, and was able to execute on a fairly condensed and strict timeline. Neither the bride nor groom can recall having to deal with any day-of calamities as we were both effectively insulated from the goings-on and able to fully enjoy the day. Aisha and her team were the versatile glue that held the wedding timeline together. Neither the bride nor groom had to look at a watch during the wedding day, as everything proceeded according to the grand plan. During the "getting ready" chaos preceding First Look, Aisha ensured that the groom, despite his repeated fumbling with his boutonnière and pocket square, was in position at the appropriate time. When the bride had issues with her high heels causing blisters during photos, the groom ran to Aisha for help, as she had a med-kit ready and stocked to address the problem. Following dinner, Aisha consulted with us on when to proceed into speeches, ensuring that we had enough time to finish our meal beforehand, and shifting around various events as necessary to accommodate. Any and all audibles to the initial timeline were a welcome adjustment, and we were both extraordinarily happy with her overall awareness and adaptability. As a testament to their organizational skill, Aisha and team ensured all items from the wedding were sorted, packed up, and returned--including the remaining bits of wedding cake, which the couple thoroughly enjoyed in the days thereafter. The following Monday after the wedding, Aisha personally delivered the copy of the marriage certificate to our home, after safeguarding it for the weekend following the ceremony. We are incredibly grateful to have had Aisha and her team personally direct our wedding, and are overjoyed with the work they did to make our wedding day such a memorable experience. I can't say enough about Aisha and her amazing Event Planning Talent. She helped me with my 40th birthday party and it was exactly what I wanted! It was an event to remember.
