Heavens Day Spa is in a small shopping strip and apparently there is a parking lot behind. I parked on the street. The salon is pretty small and definitely not elegant. But I never judge that at first, because many small places provide great service for a fraction of the price compared to big, elegant salons. The room I was in, did not have a door, but a curtain. A woman escorted me into the room and told me to undress. I assumed she was the masseuse. I was wrong. Shortly after, a man walked in, no introduction, and started the massage. He seemed somewhat distracted, leaving the room multiple times. Also, the other woman entered the room multiple times to speak to the man. The music stopped and was not out back on for about half an hour. I had a hard time relaxing, based on the lack of music, street noise, man leaving the room, woman entering the room, and other guests coming in loudly. I am not sure if I will try them again, but if so, I will go during a weekday, when maybe it's quieter and staff is more attentive. The massage itself was decent, but relaxation is supposed to be part of the experience.

She didn't make a lot of money on that purchase, but I got the full treatment. Tisha inquired about the pressure and listened to me when I told her she could "dig in more". Too often I find that therapists have a light touch- at least for my taste. Then I feel like I'm criticizing them when it still isn't where I want it to be. I was so happy after my first visit that I ended up purchasing a massage package. When that ran out, I purchased another one. Before each session we talk about any problem areas that I have. Tisha also makes suggestions on what she thinks I need work on and I absolutely open to that. I enjoy this "me time" and it is absolutely worth it. Tisha is a true professional and I highly recommend her.

I definitely recommend getting there ten minutes early if it's your first visit (they do tell you that in advance)--there is a form to fill out that takes a few minutes, and undressing and settling onto to table takes another few. I only arrived 5 minutes early, and she VERY kindly gave me a full sixty minutes, which was 5 minutes over my appointment end time--I've been told many massage therapists would strictly keep you to your end time, because they have a tight schedule. I know she was booked full that day so I really appreciated it! The table is heated, which I didn't expect, but thought it was a wonderful detail. Tisha was amazing, I felt very at ease and relaxed the whole time. I had always thought that getting a massage would be most noticeable in my back--but what was incredible was how great my arms, hands, and feet felt afterwards! I had no idea how tense and stiff they were, and I'm still feeling it more than a day later--my hands feel so light! I would definitely like to go back, and have already recommended to my family--if you buy the massage packs, you can split them between multiple people, so we may buy a pack together!

There was no one inside the room and only 2 massagers available at the moment. They quickly called another massage therapist to come back and told us the wait is about 30mins. we started off with a back and shoulder massage. All 3 of us didn't really like the fact that we had a cloth on our shoulders while getting the massage. It didn't feel as quite relaxing, maybe it's the feeling. Then one of my friends had 3 different massage therapist during her one hour foot spa because they kept switching the therapist around. The massage therapists were all pretty nice and friendly. Overall the pressure and massage is alright. I may or may not choose to return since there is other foot spa around. When we pay, the staff told us a higher price than the price we saw outside. So apparently the poster price on the window is incorrect. The staff admitted that alot of customers have mistaken the price for the 1hr foot massage. I said if you aren't going to grand that price, then shouldn't you take that down from the window? She said the lady usually would tell the customer that the window price is the old price. But I told her no one told us. So at the end, she said I will give you that price this time only. So I told her ok and yea make sure the sign is off the window too. It's just false advertisement and misleading to the customers.
