The conversation must have been stressful because she was rubbing my back as hard as imaginable and in a very fast aggressive nature. I told her that this wasn't good and she said sorry and stopped talking on the phone. the massage quality did not improve though. Despite me saying "too hard" she continued to dig her knuckles into my back and rub up and down on my spine. I paid for an hour and lasted MAYBE 30 minutes before I waved my hands and said no more. She didn't speak a lick of English so I have no idea what she was saying but it sounded like she was pleasing with me to stay. I said no and got dressed. She didn't offer me a partial refund, a water, a mint, nothing. She said "sorry" and that was that. I woke up this morning with actual bruises on my back and in worse pain than I was in before the massage.

This was one of the most horrific and uncomfortable experiences I've ever had at a spa. What I…read moreexpected to be a relaxing massage turned into something completely unexpected and disturbing. While I was lying on the table, the masseuse suddenly climbed up onto the board and began walking across my body while holding onto the ceiling for balance. She applied pressure using her feet while pushing upward against the ceiling. When she reached the center of my back, she actually jumped on my back three separate times. It didn't stop there. When she moved toward my arm, her bare foot went directly into my hand. At that moment I was extremely uncomfortable and just wanted the entire experience to be over. The next morning I woke up with my back covered in bruises. A massage should never leave someone feeling injured and shaken like this. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a safe or relaxing spa experience.

I'm certainly returning next month and will gift some to family friends. Currently there are Groupon offers for here, so try them out, however full cost is a great price as well. English is not the staff first language, however, we still were able to communicate effectively. Also, the over head lights stay on because it's not in their control to turn off. The rooms are private with open ceilings and overhead lighting that can not be turned off. My masseuse was female. I don't know her name as there wasn't much talking. The massage was ok but not the best. It felt like 20 minutes in when I asked if they used lotion or if everything was done over a towel. I was told not yet. It's coming. The lotion portion was much shorter than the dry portion and I did not like that. I've had great massages at places just like this, where the masseuses know exactly where your pressure points are, this person did not. It was still relaxing but if I did return I would ask for another masseuse.

I got out side and the guy at the desk asked me how was the massage. I explained what happened, he asked her in Chinese and she responded in Chinese. Then he told me she said she did full body massage. I told the guy, she can speak English just fine I don't need a translator. Its not fair that you two wants to discuss what happened in your language. She then proceed to tell me what happened and that she massaged my whole body. I showed her my dry arms no lotion or oil. When I started to walk away after I paid my $55, the front desk guy said in a loud voice " excuse me you not tip her" I said in a louder voice ' NO! LOOK AT MY ARMS AND LEGS!
