The second time, I had to replace a headrest on a seat. The owner gave me a phone number for a salvage place that delivered the entire seat to the MR Collision Center. I was charged a minimal fee for installation. Brand new, the headrest for a Genesis would have cost me $630. Altogether, I spent half of that for a used headrest. However, in my opinion, from the standpoint of someone garnering quotes for a future mirror replacement, the receptionist or customer service associate who answered the phone did not have a good enough concept of (potential) customer relations. After a truly harrowing, somewhat traumatizing freeway experience, I thought the person answering the phone would at least have some kind of empathy or even just a professional, friendly tone. My initial request to speak to a mechanic or service advisor was ignored. Anyways, I volunteered info about the make, model, year and color of the car, but she only seemed interested in the VIN number, which I provided. Any other place asks for all of this info. She actually said I read the VIN number too fast at the end of my reading of it, which makes no sense as I never read numbers that fast out of courtesy. I even took the extra step of making sure she got the letters correctly, but, again, she did not appreciate that. Instead, she rather unprofessionally and abruptly ended the entire call. I've never had this kind of low vibration, low intelligence customer service from any auto-related business. So, I called back and left a message thinking perhaps the owner would contact me either the same day or the next, to no avail. Every other business I have contacted, from dealerships to independent repair and body shops, have had much more impressive and professional communications.

Worst job ever! We had two cars damaged by the April 2023…read moreHailstorm. We had to bring in each car over 7 times each because they couldn't get the job done right. They broke an interior panel and replaced it. In January, I tried using my rear defogger and thought it was not working. I went to Hyundai for service work and found out Classic never reconnected the defroster. They also found the panel that Classic replaced was broken on the inside. Took over two months for them to finally reimburse me and order a new panel. I had to call a lawyer for guidance and call corporate for them to finally take action. They also damaged my head liner and had to replace it. I called corporate and the regional manager was to contact me, which he never did. On the second car, they also damaged the head liner and had to replace it. They also couldn't install the sunroof trim correctly after several tries and ended up having to outsource it. They kept installing new ones with major creases. They also installed an exterior trim incorrectly and it flew off while we were driving. They had to reimburse us for that also because we had Mazda take care it since we didn't trust them to do it right anymore. I would recommend using a totally different shop and wouldn't trust them with a box of Legos. Do not use if you care about your car!
