This isn't my first time here and I have to say the food isn't that great and the drink prices are too expensive. It's a nice place, with good entertainment from bands and DJ's but I really would like them to do better with the quality of the food and drinks. Came here for a date night because I heard they have hookah! This is a cute little spot with lice music. On Saturday there is a cover charge unless you sit outside. You also can only smoke hookah outside so that's where I headed. The service left something to be desired. We were seated and waiting for at least 10 minutes. We saw two servers constantly going back and forth and even making eye contact and avoiding us. It got so bad I had to ask one of them for a manager, THEN a new waiter came out to assist us. I went to Katy vibes a few months ago and after 20 minutes nobody came to my table to inquire about ordering...I reached out to a waiter on my way to the restroom and he advised me that I wasn't in his section but that he would take care of me...his name was Brad and he was awesome...moving forward...I went to Katy Vibes last night and I sat and waited over 35 minutes and NOT ONE person reached out to bring a menu, water or take my order...it was 645pm...the entertainment didn't start til 730 so it was not even packed yet...I reached out to 3 different ladies/waitresses passing me by and they each said that they would get a waitress for me and no one ever showed...I finally became too pissed off to even enjoy a drink, a meal or the entertainment...so I left and I was sure to let the 3 lil teeny bopper young ladies that are door greeters of my situation...they just said , oh no, I'm so sorry...here's my suggestion...when the restaurant is using the "seat yourself" option...it's not required to have 3 young ladies telling me hello as I walk in the door...it would be better suited to have 2 of them trained as waitresses...or better yet...just retrain all staff to notice tables with warm bodies and nothing at all on their tables... read more

Nice place to hear some great sounds. Saw Cool Breeze, my favorite R & B cover band, there twice and it's a great night club with great drinks, cold beer and a great ambiance. I was brought to this restaurant today after saying, "really? It looks like an under-21 club." The inside is just as peculiar and tacky as the outside. There are mid-century modern fixtures feet away from pictures that look like they belong to a nail salon, and then weird sci-fi looking lights on one wall. The restaurant is somehow very bare and gives me that not-gonna-make-it vibe. This place definitely has an identity crisis. You can get everything from a fajitas to a burger, wings to a seafood platter. And it's all completely underwhelming. We started with the sampler platter, which was fine, but nothing to write home about. The breading falls off of their fried pickles with no resistance, their sauces are forgettable, their crab mushrooms were okay and so were their onion rings and cheese curds. We liked the wings the most, but there is another spot in that area that does wings better justice. I ordered a burger with Mac n Cheese, my boyfriend got fish and chips, my sister got chicken fried steak, and Dad got a seafood sampler. Overall...meh. I would have to say my burger was above average but not memorable, only because it was cooked properly so I give it credit. They also toast the buns so points there. Out of all the seafood, the only thing we liked was the shrimp. My sister barely ate her chicken fried steak. Meanwhile our waiter was really scarce. We all bottomed out our drinks for a good ten minutes before he came around to refill them, and when my Dad asked for malt vinegar with his fries he got some weird impromptu concoction that was gritty and weird. The Mac n Cheese looks and tastes exactly like boxed Velveeta. We went there on a Thursday night. Got there around 6:00 p.m. we ordered two beers, only to be told 15 minutes into it that the blue moon draft was no good. They eventually brought us two beers, took another 15 minutes for them to bring the food. The food wasn't the worst, but the service is very very slow. On top of that kept waiting for someone to give us the check so that we could pay. I didn't think too much of it and just paid the bill, till later realize that they charged us for the Blue Moon that they never brought us. They charges for in large party, apparently two adults and one three year old are considered a large party. Overall bad service, okay food , and the beer was flat. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Katy Vibes. I love the environment, they have live music several times throughout each month. They also do a happy hour Tuesday through Friday during which a lot of their items are five dollars a piece. You absolutely cannot beat that! To top it off, their food items are especially good. I've tried the wings, calamari fries and their normal fries and everything was really good. The service was nice, I think I waited a total of 10 to 15 minutes before my food came out.
