Both classes were hot - that infrared heat is no joke - and both were hard! Kicked (and sculpted) our butts! We were dripping in sweat and we were a good sore after each. I'd frequent this class if I lived nearby! Bring your own mat, towel, and water. They provide the weights/props. $28 for a drop-in seemed very reasonable! Thanks for a great two classes.

I was originally looking for Pilates, but I found these classes fit perfectly into my schedule--and I'm so glad I did! I ended up doing the Strength & Conditioning class almost every morning with Rose (she's amazing!) and took two fantastic barre classes with Sara (she's adorable and I love her energy). Everyone at The Sanctuary was so warm and welcoming, and the instructors were super helpful, always taking time to explain and demonstrate movements. If you're visiting Kaua'i and want a great workout in a positive, supportive environment--this is the place. Highly recommend!

Tulasi leads the class in a mixed yoga practice that adjusts for all levels. Her calm voice leads you through 90 minutes of outdoor yoga, grounding your practice with nature and the stunning views, and maybe even catching a view of a few dolphins playing off in the distance. Her yoga class is a must-do every time you are in Princeville or can drive over for an early morning session on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. We took the class on a Friday, and it was gorgeous weather with low humidity. On Monday, the weather gave us rain, but the elements did not deter the class, and instead, we embraced the beauty of centering ourselves and feeling the flow between stretches, energizing our core and our minds. I found the practice beautiful and peaceful.
