A group of friends and myself trekked our way to the beach and we were welcomed by friendly Abhi. We placed our mats by the beach and he led us through a wonderful one hour, 15 minute class which included stretching, meditation, and some challenging poses. I attend yoga when I am at home in San Francisco a fair amount (I like vinyasa yoga with a bit of challenge), and Abhi's class was one of my favorite yoga classes that I have ever taken. He was a great instructor and kept the class relaxing and engaging; never once did I feel bored or that it was too difficult. He has a very calm presence and helps you out with your poses as well. I definitely recommend taking his class if you're in Kauai - it's a great workout to start or end a beautiful day on the island! Thank you, Abhi, for amazing yoga on the beach!

The students and teaching staff are definitely hard core yogis and totally dedicated practitioners. But the studio is warm (pun intended) to the soul, not just the body. It is quite clear that Jen sees the students as the heart and soul of the place! She believes completely that it is through their presence that it works! It seems it is equally through the devotion, kindness, and inclusivity of the rock solid instructor team, that the result is an uplifting, community building, soul supporting, constant -in an ever changing and seemingly otherwise unstable, world! The workouts are unbelievably efficient. I love how much you can work your muscles in such a short amount of time. ARX strength training is a game changer. Fast, effective, and no wasted effort. Vasper is harder than you expect, but so good for you, and the AI CAROL bikes keep you in the right zone every time, which makes each workout feel purposeful and optimized. To top it off, the infrared sauna is fantastic, or you can finish with the cooling mats for recovery. It feels like a semi-private training session. You get a lot of personal attention and support, with just a few others around, so you're not working out alone but also not lost in a big, crowded gym. I've seen groups here on occasion doing Tai Chi or Yoga sometimes. Not much else than a nice place to do Tai Chi, exercise, read a book or run your dog around the big lawn... I didn't notice a restroom or a water faucet, so keep that in mind if your planning on spending the afternoon there.
