When the appointment happened, I asked her if she could treat a specific disorder and she COULD NOT. SURPRISE, I got a bill. I contacted the office and informed them what I did and they apologized and saw my emails and dropped the ball. I had a 12 dollar balance after my insurance paid for this, (no care appointment.) Of course I did not pay the 12 dollars that they billed me, and they decided to send it to a collection agency. I am furious! They are taking advantage of the healthcare system and patients. This has to stop!!!!!

When I asked why she was prescribing certain medication and not another she actually said "I'm the doctor here." That is never an acceptable rational for prescribing a medication. It's the patient's right to understand treatment, and it's the doctor's duty to explain. She was dismissive of the severity my symptoms and my concerns. Even worse than her attitude was the fact that I was misdiagnosed. She diagnosed an upper respiratory issue when it was actually a dermatologic issue. I later went to a doctor in person and my issue absolutely required an anti-biotic that she refused to prescribe and didn't provide any sort of rational beyond "I'm the doctor here" and "you don't need it."
