They are recommending drinks and mix creative calming drinks based on comfort and experience level. I have tried the THC elixir mixed by the bar tender into a sugar free soda. The Duval Paradise is on the menu. It's tropical and reminiscent of vacation drink. G-shot - it is tart and pungent with both Kratum & Kava but there is a hint of pineapple juice in it to mask and it has a numbing effect. CBD? If only it stood for "Coffee By Day", I would have been inside this shop sooner. You see, there are so many shops serving CBD and others, but it is tough to decipher if those shops are just out to sell you whatever just to get a sale. Well not the case at CBD Café. I have had the great experience with dealing with Kiana. She was very helpful, knowledgeable and full of information regarding CBD, Kratom and all other items they offer. Come see her if you want a Kiana 101. You won't be disappointed. It just ironic how my wife and I swung by this place after learning they serve Coffee. We later learned they had Smoothies, Slushies, etc. What turned into a coffee trial turned into another. Now back to coffee. The coffees I have tried so far here are fan-tas-tic. Just the perfect blend and taste. Hot or Iced, you cannot go wrong with either. Moving on, what I have learned... CBD Café is the only shop in Jax to serve Kratom (most shops serves Kratom only in pill form). I have tried a Kratom Tea just as an alternative option to coffee as I work long hour days. It was definitely tasty, gave me the pep I need, no crash...mbut it is one to not abuse or take too much of. CBD Café is the one of 2 shops in Jax to serve Kava. Very cool cafe!! This is a CBD cafe off Old St Augustine rd ( near Wing it) I happened to pop in one day and was surprised how cute it was inside! Much nicer then the typical smoke shop, they have the regular smoke stuff for sale but also have a full cafe in the back with a super sweet girl running the show! She was very helpful in guiding me when I told her I havent tried Kava before and we looked over a few of the drinks, I ended up getting a Kava colada adding a CBD shot, it was good! The Kava is bitter but was sweetened up with the pineapple and coconut cream, maybe it makes you feel a little bit chilled out!? I liked they didn't add sugar or anything to make it super sweet! I also saw they had some fresh baked goodies! A chocolate walnut banana bread! She said she had just made it and it was delicious! Loved it! She said they do music and open mic nights, and a drum circle on certain nights, just seemed real cool in there! I was rudely skipped twice by the hostess, and the CBD add-on I ordered was an afterthought. I ordered my drink @ 2:30 yesterday there were 4 total people in the cafe. The hostess literally made 2 people's orders after I paid for mine. Rude and disrespectful is the vibe. Do NOT waste your money on $10 shake with a drop of CBD. read more

Under the recommendation from Madison I stopped in to check out CBD Cafe for an alternative option for certain pains I have. Since I've been in a few accidents over the years, my lower back, neck and hip tends to give me issues. Cianna was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. We started my CBD journey with a Emulsion blended Blue Raspberry Slushie which was delicious and refreshing. I also took home a 4 pack of Gummy Froggies. Cianna recommended that since I am new to CBD, I should start off with only eating half of a frog to see how my body responds and then I can always eat the other half. I spent like $30-40 on a to go container of kava. I don't understand the good reviews of this place. The classic kava was incredibly weak and did not taste fresh. It also tasted like it had sugar or something added. Totally gross. Only someone who doesn't know what real kava tastes like might think this is ok.
