Daily specials and happy hours change throughout the week. Wings are great and even better for $.75 each! Tacos were not little Taco Bell size. These were loaded with toppings are 2-3 per person will fill you up. $7 cheesesteaks is unheard of! Add in $2 rolling rock draft pints and other tasty items on the menu. This place is a must do! Seat your self.

Great local bar with great food. We stopped in for their St. Paddy's Day specials. They had a large selection of Irish themed food and drinks. We ordered the Ruben egg rolls and they were delicious. Service is always great and attentive. Family friendly.

Went for Monday Wing Night. .75 wings. As far as wings...5 stars. They were all good. Tried four flavors. Big basket of fries were good. Got an Amaretto Sour and tasted zero amaretto. I didnt complain. Got fried oreos to go and when I opened them they were a burnt greasy mess. Looked and tasted like the oil they were cooked in was old. Tossed them in the trash. I know a lot of people like the food here. The service was really good. The ambiance is just your normal local dudes sitting around the bar vibe. No windows. It was kind of depressing.

I learned later that this restaurant has been around since the early to mid 1900's. Plenty of parking in a large open lot. The place is very large and has one of the longest bars I've seen. The wood is very dark and you can see the chefs cooking over the hearth. They don't take reservations and won't see you until your entire party is there. One of the things I liked for our party of 10 was they had no problems with seating as they also have many large round tables. For mixed drinks, they make them pretty big and potent. For my martini, they sent back an extra glass. They also had great bleu cheese stuffed olives. We ordered onion rings (8 large to an order) and fried zucchini. The onion ring I had was pretty good. I didn't have the fried zucchini but heard it was also pretty good. Other than the light fare items, all dinners come with their salad bar which has both iceberg lettuce and Caesar Salad along with many fixings as well as cheeses and bread. I had the Baked Seafood Platter which came with scallops, shrimp, Clam Casino (without the shell), Maryland crab cake and a small lobster tail for $49.99. My wife had the baked chicken breast which she said was quite dry. The dining area is quite large and reminds me of the restaurants at a casino. Some in our group said it reminds them of Medieval Times due to the dark wood vibe. While I thought it was a bit pricey, I would still come back and try their signature steaks or prime rib.

The salad bar is classic: Caesar salad, iceberg, blue cheese, bacon bits, etc. Meet family here for a fancy night out, and it was a blast. Service was good. Portions are generous, so be prepared for leftovers. We had steak and eggs for breakfast the next day. Big steaks, big baked potatoes, unlimited salad. Come hungry. Good to know: It is a splurge. Also, they won't stay you until the entire party is there. We waited at the bar for everyone to arrive, where one cocktail was more than enough for me. You definitely get your money's worth, and you should not drive afterward. (I did not.)

Well, the "Irish Pub" you know from the Monopoly game is actually this real property, "The Irish Pub and Inn", here on St. James Place in Atlantic City. Also, the game's iconic red hotel design inspired the game's red hotels, making it a real-life landmark for Monopoly fans. During most of the year, this legendary, 24/7 pub is famous for its unique, memorabilia-filled atmosphere and historical ties to AC, the Monopoly game, prohibition, etc., attracting visitors who enjoy its authentic, home-style vibe. But during Christmas, its decorations are on a whole other level of amazingness. Photos will not permit you to understand just how fantastic the volume and scope of lights, ornaments and figurines abound all around the restaurant and bar areas. The owner starts decorating weeks before Christmas adding new items each day through Christmas. You can't miss catching the Christmas spirit here, while taking in some spirits! It is a cash only venue. Make sure to come prepared. But if not? They do have an ATM onsite to help pay for the classic fish and chips or / AND the St James Potatoes. Those fries are like a poutine for those who know. The service is no frills but provided with pride and a smile, always. You can never go wrong here for a quick, basic, and satisfying meal and drink at reasonable prices in good company.

I couldn't stay long, so I didn't get to try the food, but I saw that they seemed to have a pretty good happy hour food deal on a burger for Thursdays. Pretty clean inside, and overall it's a nice spot, but the bathroom is quite a walk from the main bar! Looks like they have a lot of room in there potentially for private parties and such too, which is cool. We had a table in the corner near the front door, which wasn't in very clear view of the waitstaff, so it was a bit hard to get their attention, though once they had our attention, the server was very friendly and helpful. I'd return for another try, and might plan a future happy hour after work there! It's only about ten minutes from the office.

This was formerly yet another of their restaurants called Union Boil which we weren't a fan of. The name Pennytown pays homage to the original name of the town. We tried the white bean hummus, the fried cauliflower, and the zucchini Frite. These were not frozen typical bar food apps. They were definitely hand cut from fresh veggies and so delicious. We must have said wow with every bite. During happy hour, weekdays between 4-6 there's a nice selection of apps for half price and drinks and wines were only $5. Service was also great and the appetizer portions were so big, two of us ended up not being able to even finish them. Our bill was $30 for 3 giant and delicious apps, and 3 drinks. Where can you get that these days? We will definitely be frequenting this happy hour and trying some other things on the menu as well. The bar pies looked delicious and they had some nice specials posted on the blackboard too.
